Nice idea but I do not do well in large groups.
I don't do the greatest in large groups either, unless I can blend in....The two of us can sneak out and go find a dairy bar or something...:)

Not to rain on the parade, but:

For the last seven days it has rained here. For 26 of the last 30 days it has rained here. So far this YEAR, we have only had 18 rain free days. Now, I'm not really complaining because thank God none of the storms have been severe.

STILL.................sigh............

I wish it would do that here.

Did you all know that Jon Bon Jovi has a restaurant where the poor can earn their free meals by either paying a little bit of what they can afford, or if they cannot give any money, then they just work at the restaurant a little bit like washing dishes, etc? Off topic, but I think that is really great of him to do that!!!!!

"JBJ Soul Kitchen is a community restaurant with no prices on the menu; customers donate to pay for their meal. If you are unable to donate you may do volunteer work in exchange for your family’s meal."

Hats off to him!!!!!!

lol, I do the speed limit all the time...When I was in my law enforcement class the others joked that I wouldn't be able to speed in a pursuit.....I know most if not all of the cops here....I actually have a few stories about them....

The one I am thinking of right now is there was something wrong with the water in the brook in the town....my dad and sister went for a ride with a cop that we knew to try to help him....well my sister got in the back and when they got out, she couldn't open the door....they were joking and teasing her.....
Then I know one guy who was a state trooper who accidentally let his license run out....it was three years past the date because he never looked at his license...he discovered this when taking kids on a tour of the station and they were showing the kids how to check on people...so they decided to check on him....lol

i got a letter (certified mail!) today from the local school district.
it was basically chastising us for not 'reporting' Caroline's homeschool info.

so i called and cheerfully let them know she turned 20 this past January,
and not only is she well past mandatory school age, she's in college!

they kindly agreed they'd update their records. LOL

ah, it's nice to know we're not the only crazy ones, isn't it, Kody? :)

LOL. That was not an insult mom, I sware. It was just an innocent empirical observation based on a set of observable regularities from human experience.
