Speaking in Tongues: Old Truth New Revelation!

It would be helpful to know what exactly the author of the book seems to think tongues are - can you perhaps elaborate on his/her conclusions?? The summary on Amazon does not address this.

There is no description on Amazon because the truth must go to the seeking Christians first.

Speaking in tongues is very simple to understand through the concepts presented in this writing, but impossible to know without these concepts because of today’s teaching, understanding, interpretation of scripture and even the Bible itself because the translators base their translation--not on what tongues are, but on the common belief of tongues, and if this belief is incorrect so also the translation; and therefore again it may not be possible to ever know the true meaning of tongues or what it means to speak in tongues without the teachings and concepts in this book because it shows where the faults in our interpretation and translation lie.

Not much to go on, no reviews, only a few pages available to read, no bio, no other internet social media from the author?

I think I am a little skeptical about a new understanding.

This is not a new understanding except that what is taught in this document is new according to today's teaching but not new from the perspective of truth. The truth is simple, we only need to peel away what we have been taught in error first and then the truth will be seen.

There is no doubt that the teachings in this book will revolutionize all we know and understand of tongues, for it is impossible that this mystery should remain hidden forever. I can only say, because of your other post (you seem like a knowledgeable and noble person) not to count yourself among the skeptical.

What you have posted bears witness to much truth, but my description of the word, charismatic, as pertaining to the Body Members of Christ is just that, a description of one of the characteristics of the Spirit within the Body Members.

Yes, some have made a system of doctrine ab out this word and use it to identify their portion of the Body, just as have people used the words universal, baptist, method, witness, advent and so many more words converted to denominations.......I do not believe they are ideologies quite, but perhaps in the understanding of some they are. I am not sure I am using the word ideologies properly. I thought it meant our understandings as all one thing?

I would not call it the characteristics of the Spirit but rather the characteristics of those who appose the Spirit mocking it refusing to hear prophecy .

It would seem that many by-pass the law written in respect to tongues a old testament foundation which shows the reasoning of God for the law . God mocking those who mock prophecy

The same applies to water baptism, an old testament foundation that was changed, as if its foundation was new testament.Again by those who seek after a sign in a hope to confirm something outwardly rather than walking by faith.

The kingdom of God never comes by observation. All die not receiving the promise of their new incorruptible bodies . We have the new incorruptible spirit as our surety, it strengthens us to be patient and wait till the last day . Patience as fruit of His Spirit the hard work (the first work of His love in us) Not the fruit of the human spirit.
