so perhaps we need to reaffirm our belief in what God has promised:

Eze 11:19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh:
Eze 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.

God did not say he would leave our stony heart in us, he did not say he would simply put His Spirit within, and leave us in our fallen state.

What of the heart that THINKS it is righteous but it is decieved? All deceived souls/people, think in their hearts, that they are RIGHT! So wicked is deception.

Going to bed now.

The difference is actually very clear.,.. as in where the soul is the seat of his affections, emotions, appetites, desires, and all feelings. The Hebrew word for soul is" Nephesh".It occurs 754 times throughout the Bible . The spirit of man is the seat of his intellect, will, mind, and consciousness .The Hebrew word "rauch" is translated spirit, occuring 237 times as spirit.. but another 152 times as " invisible force" .
