Spiritual gifts?

I guess the only question I would have for those that believe that spiritual gifts no longer exist would be this...

How do you explain those that have witnessed these gifts, especially those that have bore those gifts through their obedience to God through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ?

Before you present your answers, I will warn you of this one thing.

Mark:22 And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.
28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.
30 Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.

I always love it when someone threatens others with scripture. Improper use of scripture on its face and poor interpretation at its heart.

Acts 16 we see a damsel going around following Paul and saying he was preaching the gospel of the Living God. Paul cast out the evil spirit and was beaten for his efforts. She was not representing anything false about Paul but her reputation was with Apollos the pagan god not Jehovah God.

There are many false spirits in the world and many go to church every Sunday.

Sorry to repeat, Roger, but you put yourself in checkmate by questioning God's need for a second witness outside the Bible. You trapped yourself by asking for God's opinion on the matter. Jesus sent His disciples to be witnesses, not missionaries or Christians, of Him. Due to this, they had power. Therefore, if we are sent by the same Jesus today, then we are sent not to be missionaries or Christians (primarily) but witnesses of Him, and that with power and signs and all the gifts of the Spirit.

There are three witnesses in Heaven and three on earth. (1Jn. 5.) If you wish to make your comfort zone the truth and make the Bible the only witness, then you will have no power at all to live the Life nor impart the Life (supernaturally) to others. If you don't believe the Bible, the Word, and Testimony needs the witness of Jesus' power or supernatural nature, then you are your own witness. The Bible bears no witness. Because you don't understand or believe the Scriptures, like the Sadducees, you cannot possibly experience God's power; therefore, your cause for Christ is powerless, because Christ is powerful.

Then you can begin to serve Him using your spiritual gift

You recognize the gifts of the Holy Spirit by the fruits that come from them. Watch to see if lives are touched and Jesus is more revealed.. That is the last thing Satan wants.

there are false prophets out there
who is behind their gifts ?

There are false prophets and false teachers of men .... and most have their own proprietary ambitions

.... it is the devil who can and does inspire and encourage the same
