Yes, the didactic passages Ephesians 6:10-18 and 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 seem to be more germinal for discussing this topic than the historical passage in Daniel 10:12-13.

belt of truth by LGW (Matt. 4:4),
breastplate of righteousness/cooperating with GW (Matt. 22:37-40, John 13:34-35),
shoes of the gospel/the crux of GW (John 3:16, Acts 16:30-31),
shield of faith in GW (2Tim. 3:15-17),
helmet of salvation via the incarnate Word (Rom. 3:25, Heb. 2:17),
and the sword of the Spirit, who is truth and the teacher of GW (1John 5:6, John 16:13).
