Hi all,
Just wondering if ppl feel like they steward all their gifts and talents well and if not is its reasonable to believe that there are seasons when we use some gifts more than others ?

There's a regular cycle of ministry, with details communicated symbolically by the pilgrimage feasts cycle in the OT. More than half of pastors (I am told by those who treat them for it) have ministry burn-out at sometime in their life. In my experience, respecting the cycle prevents this. The cycle operates within the "glory to glory" framework.

Be given a certain gift will not prevent us from doing what the Lord wants but will help us. There may be times He wants to test us by having us do what we are not gifted in. Our gifts may change with what He has for us to do though not by what we want.
