There's many sects in Judaism stunned. The website I read from was of the Nazarene or Notzri is what I think it was called. Not to be confused with the Nazarene church. They claim that Yeshua and the disciples were of this sect. After reading the history of them, I thought it possible.

Not the Ebionites by the way.

I cant recall reading anything about darkness being evil. I was more interested in what they taught about light.

Theres a man though in this movement by the name of Trimm. I wouldn't read from his writings. I think my hesitation was about the divinity of Jesus, but it's been several years since I've read anything more.

I prefer looking at this topic just with the study materials I have. So far I'm in agreement that the darkness was evil, yet no understanding as to how or why. I still think it has to do with a first age.

Oh, ty for those warnings. I wasn't going looking for any Judaism teachings. A member here gave me a link for a word study on genesis and it was this man speaking on the radio. He sounded normal enough but on further investigation of his website he went a bit off the rails.

Ty for the warning though sis :)
