Just wanted to share a couple of thoughts. The account of Adam and Eve isn't to illustrate how sin entered the world. God knew from the beginning they were going to eventually eat the forbidden fruit, just because it was there. The story isn't to tell us about what an idiot Adam is but to reveal our compulsion to sin and our need for a Savior. Even in the best circumstances and complete fellowship with God, with only one sin to worry about, man will always take the bait. Here's what I've learned, even in complete bliss, nice house, great job, lots of cash, hot insatiable wife, and a relationship with God, man will still choose sin. Why? Because it's there. Nothing in this world will satisfy.
