Summers said the museum will be the largest manuscript museum in the world, all focused on the Bible.
We talked about this some time ago, but it is now under construction. There is going to be some interesting information in it that would be neat to see.

That kind of reminds me of the "Scriptorium" I think they call it.. at The Holy Land Experience in Orlando. Any one else been there?

Not sure of the wisdom these days of keeping all that antiquity under one roof.

True, but museums and libraries do it all the time.. such a shame when fires destroy irreplaceable manuscripts, as happened several years back in Germany, don't remember the exact incident.

Yes, and being that close to D.C., it will be a sure terrorist target.

Well so far, as far as I know, terrorists aren't making museums a high-priority target, otherwise they would have struck the Smithsonian instead of the Pentagon, I think. Sadly, I think they go for high-numbers and political/financial importance. Mostly hearkening back to 9-11 when I'm saying that, though. Muslims in the middle east do tend to torch Christian churches and such (thinking of the coptic Christians in Egypt, mostly), though, so I guess it's always a possibility .

ISIS, the latest designer terrorist group, targets religious landmarks and I'm sure they'd love to get their hands on something like that

If Obama don't beat them to the punch.

Well, if anything like that happens, I guess it's just a reminder that our treasures are in heaven, right?
