The nation of Israel that we as Christians see coming(Revelation and other books), will have the Lord Jesus as it's king and ruler over it and not a secular type prime minister,and it's laws will be religious in nature(a theocracy) and not a man made set of laws. Remember what was said on the first page about the man of sin rising up first and ruling and then(afterwards) the Lord comes and sets up the nation your thinking of,,,but first an imposter comes and many wonder after it and worship it's image. Look at it and compare it's laws and structure of government with the one in the Scriptures.

We know that Jesus got no genetic material from Joseph. If He got genetic material from Mary, then the answer would be "yes". If He didn't get genetic material from either Mary or Joseph, then the answer would be "no". I'm not the greatest Bible scholar. I don't know. If He did get genetic material from Mary, then I think Mary would have had to be very, very special indeed. Her genetics would have had to been able to produce a son without any defect at all so that Jesus could be the perfect sacrifice. So if Jesus was genetically a Jew, then maybe the Catholics are onto something about Mary. But if Mary was just a surrogate, then Jesus would have totally unique perfect genetics, and I'd guess the protestants are correct about Mary being of no real significance. I truly don't know. For real. But I do think that it is apparent that He was at least raised as a jew. And regardless of His genetics, I think it's safe to say that He was born OF the jews and thus fullfilled the prophesy to Abraham regarding how all people will be blessed through his seed.

I don't think God foresook the jews at all. I think they have fulfilled their purpose that God had for them. I think if jews want to go to heaven, they need to trust in Jesus, just like anyone else. I don't buy into this idea of two sets of rules - one for jews and one for everyone else.
