Well, there's not one place in the Bible that says ''tattoos are a sin'' and you do NOT know what God told me. Him telling me that, does NOT make Him a lair. Anyhow, yeah I'm done for real now. This is an endless circle that goes no where. So God bless you.
Not one place that says tattoos are a sin in the bible? Well, as much as I hate repeating myself, I guess I'll have to post the verse we've been posting a million times in this thread again. This time, do pay attention, please :)

Leviticus 19:28
Don't cut gashes in your flesh when someone dies or tattoo yourselves; I am Ad-nai.

So, you say you're done for real now. Let's see if you're telling the truth :)

I'm thinking you misunderstood God if he told you to get a tatoo... Just my opinion though. I dont think you'll lose your salvation if you gain a tatoo though. I pierced my belly button after losing 45 lbs a decade ago... (that was my goal, to be able to without wearing one of them dangly beaded earrings that would show through the rolls) anyway i kept it 3 months... was a pain to wear pants & its not like I showed anyone anyway!! I'm thankful my goal was not a tatoo as you cant let them grow over & i cant imagine at the age of 80 me with a droopy hummingbird on my left shoulder making pierogi's & canning my garden stuff...

Ok. I know I said that I was done, but this is not about the topic. I just want to share my concern about this christian website that is full of self-righteous holier than thou people. Why do you think you have the right to come on here and judge me and others for the way we live. And don't try to give me a verse out of the Bible that you translate to say that you have the right to. It is one thing to come on and give advice, but it is another for you people to come on here and think that because you dont believe in something that it is up to you to judge everyone according to your beliefs. So I guess that no one on this site lets their kids dress up for halloween because it is the biggest pagan holiday of the year? You know what God says to people? You know their hearts? You know their love for God? WOW! That is amazing! I thought the only person that could do that was God himself. I will leave you with a group of verses Romans 14:10-13 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at naught thy brother? for we shall ALL stand before the judgement seat of Christ. 11. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. 12. So then EVERY ONE of us shall give account of HIMSELF to God. 13. Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brothers path. God Bless!!

Proverbs 17:16
Why would a fool wish to pay for wisdom when he has no desire to learn?

Nobody here has been self-righteous holy rollers. Rather, we have shown you in Scripture where it says that tattoos are, quite clearly, a sin. But you have chosen the way of fools and despised learning.

I would say, sir, there is more of a problem in those like you who care not to learn from Scripture and lean on their own understanding than there is of those who try to gain knowledge from the Scriptures. Rather than seek understanding from the Scriptures, you refuse to even discuss the issue and instead rely on your own way, which is the way of folly. Only the way of the L-rd brings strength and wisdom, and the way of man brings foolishness and folly.

Why do you think you have the right to come on here and judge me and others for the way we live. And don't try to give me a verse out of the Bible that you translate to say that you have the right to.
It has nothing to do with translation and everything to do with what the verse says. Over and over it says things like the fool disparages the rebuke of the wise (Prov. 15:5), judge those who claim to be believers yet spurn the Word (Gal. 6:1-2), let us each scrutinize our actions (Gal. 6:4), those who have knowledge from the Word should share it with their brethren (Gal. 6:6), etc. I'm not making any of it up, I'm not taking it out of context. It's all there.

It is one thing to come on and give advice, but it is another for you people to come on here and think that because you dont believe in something that it is up to you to judge everyone according to your beliefs.
How many times must we show you clear cut Scripture that shows you are in err before you realize that this is NOT just someone's beliefs, but Truth from the Word of G-d? DO NOT TATTOO YOURSELVES is what it says! It's like G-d is slapping you in the face with it in hopes that you'll get it, but still you reject it!

So I guess that no one on this site lets their kids dress up for halloween because it is the biggest pagan holiday of the year?
My daughter does not live with me, but if she still did, no, I would not even let her think Halloween was remotely good. I would teach her about the unholy paganism involved and show her the G-dly, biblical feasts and festivals He has for us.

That's right, ask yourself how many times your kids dress up as a witch or something evil like that versus the number of times they dress up as Jesus, there's your answer.

Exactly.

The problem is abortion and homosexuality is someone else's sin. Tattoos are theirs :)

I hope you don't read the Psalms or Proverbs, or listen to the words of the prophets. Those are old testament scriptures too :)

The Bible says in Ephesians 6:12 That are battle is not against our flesh but spiritual wickedness(demons).

The Bible says that as many are led by the Spirit, are given the power to become the sons of God.

Now having said that it seems abvious to me that our decisions are based on the inspiration of God or the devil.

When you have a desire to help out a person in trouble were is that inspiration coming from.

When you have a desire to see how many things you can do for God instead of seeing how much you can get away with. Who does that come from?

When you desire to fornicate. Who does that come from?

When you have a desire to say a bad word. Were does that come from.

You get the idea now the Bible says that we are to an example of the believer. The devil would probably like nothing more to get a person to protray a man of God will looking like a child of the devil. Because then he can use that person to get someone else to make a false perfession of Christ. The Bible says we need to deny ourselves and our flesh, but when a person thinks he can still mark up his body, listen to rock music(which by the way has its roots in voodoo), dress like a harlot, etc he is not denying himself and therfore making a false profession.

Tatoos were common in sailors and devilish harly davison members then through this modern new age world, they started becoming popular among the average american.

Personally....I follow what the Bible says on it, eventhough someone said earlier it isn't in the New Testament...I believe that the Word stands period. Certain things from O.T weren't mentioned in the N.T..so does that make them of none effect? But far as the hair thing...IDK, this is just a debatable topic with endless answers. But if anyone really has a concern about it, I'd tell them to pray to GOD for an HONEST answer.
