The "heart" of the LORD is love. It is the source of all love, and it's goodness and power. It is the essence of the his existence.
The Bible says that "God is love"
The truth and wisdom of that fact tells me that it is not just a mere attribute of his nature, but the core of his existence. It is where his wrath, mercy, judgement, will, and everything else originates. Everything of God is birthed through his loving heart.
That is why he even loves his enemies, and our greatest commandments are of love. Also I believe that is why Paul writes that no matter what you do, if it's not done with love that it profits NOTHING.
The love of God can not be compared to anything or be explained with words and give it proper credit and justice.
It is the reason and birthplace of all existence.
Get yourself some.

Unconditional forgiveness is a spiritual law God has written on our hearts.

We are no longer under the written law but there are spiritual laws that apply to us and we can only obey them such as forgiveness by the power of the Holy Spirit.

All is well with you, choose to forgive and to love but, you do NOT have to be a doormat....you do NOT have to stay in an unhealthy relationship.

You can leave the relationship and still have no anger or bitterness or resentment in your heart....only pray for them and wish them the best.
Thanks Lafftur. There's something Paul said that shows the heart of God to me,

And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved. 2Cor.12:15

And not only was our Lord unloved by many, but was horribly abused. And yet he chose not to condemn, but continue in love toward people that hurt him in a terrible way. That's the grace of God.
