A personal favorite of mine as well. If this kind of preaching is right up you alley then I strongly suggest anything by Dr. Micheal L Brown and / or Leonard Ravenhill.

Paris Reidhead

Many of us know the story of "Morse" (Paris) Reidhead. We recall Bro Branham telling us about how he tried to convert the Muslim boy, and how the Muslim called him on the Mark 16 issue.

The other day, I found online a sermon of Paris Reidhead speaking of that event himself. It's really quite a good sermon, and I'd encourage anyone that is interested to listen. He tells of his unbelief in divine healing and the process the Lord brought him through. In doing so he does a nice dramatization of a lame boy during Passover night. While he doesn't speak of his meeting with Bro Branham, He does bring us through some great scriptures for why divine healing is still for us, today.

He also tells the story Bro Branham tells about accepting a package full of snakes or not.

You can find the sermon "Redeemed from the curse of the law", here. (55 min)

--------------------------------------------------

SIRS.WE.WOULD.SEE.JESUS_ EDMONTON.AB SUNDAY_ 57-0804E
E-11 A good friend of mine some time ago, his name is Doctor Reedhead, Morse Reedhead; many of you know him. He's the president of the great Sudan Missions, the greatest fundamental mission in the world. And a Mohammedan had been brought over to this country and educated, I believe it was for electronics. But on his road back, after his education in this great school, Doctor Reedhead said to him, "Son, when you go back to your homeland, why don't you take with you the Lord Jesus Christ, the resurrected Christ, and renounce that old dead prophet Mohammed that you serve?"
And the Mohammedan scooted his feet on the ground a few times and looked up to Mr. Reedhead, and he said, "Mr. Reedhead, kind sir, what could your Jesus do for me, any more than what my prophet can do?" Said, "They both wrote books, and they both promised life after death." And said, "You believe your Book called the Bible; I believe my book called Koran." He said, "Therefore, what could your Jesus do any more for me, what more could He do, rather, than what Mohammed could do?"

SIRS.WE.WOULD.SEE.JESUS_ EDMONTON.AB SUNDAY_ 57-0804E
E-12 And Mr. Reedhead said, "Well, your Mohammed is dead and in the grave." Perhaps many men here has been to it the same as I. They have a white horse saddled and at his grave. It's been there, changing guards every few hours for the past two thousand years, expecting Mohammed to rise someday, jump on his horse, and ride, and conquer the world.
But said, "Mohammed is dead and in the grave, but Jesus has raised from the dead and He lives."
And the Mohammedan said to Mr. Reedhead, he said, "Did He? I would like to see you prove it to me that He's raised from the dead."
"Well," he said, "I know that He's raised from the dead," said, "because He's in my heart right now. And I have joy and peace, and satisfaction. Therefore," he said, "I know that He has raised from the dead."
And the Mohammedan looked the Christian in the face, and said, "Now, just a moment, Mr. Reedhead, the Mohammedan religion can produce just as much psychology as Christianity can. We're just as happy, can shout just as loud, and jump just as high, believing that Mohammed will come back and ride the world down and conquer the world, as you have believing Jesus will come back. So therefore, you cannot prove any more of your resurrection, than I can by my prophet."

SIRS.WE.WOULD.SEE.JESUS_ EDMONTON.AB SUNDAY_ 57-0804E
E-13 And he said, "Furthermore, Mr. Reedhead," he said, "Your Jesus promised more than our Mohammed did. Your Jesus promised that the things that He did, you would do also. Our Mohammed only promised life after death." Said, "We Mohammedans are waiting to see you Christians prove that, and then we'll believe it."
He said, "What do you mean by promising?"
Well, he said, "It was promised that you would heal the sick, and great signs and wonders would be done." Said, "We are waiting to see that done. You've had two thousand years to prove that He raised from the dead, and only one third of the world ever heard of it." Said, "We got twice as many in the Mohammedan religion as you have in Christianity, that's Catholic and all, and we're growing twice as fast." That's true; certainly is true. They're up and at it, we set around like dumb driven cattle.

SIRS.WE.WOULD.SEE.JESUS_ EDMONTON.AB SUNDAY_ 57-0804E
E-14 I like Longfellow, that great English poet, said, "Be not like dumb driven cattle, be a hero." That's right.
So he said, Mr. Reedhead said, "Perhaps, sir, you're referring to Mark 16." That was the Scripture I read this afternoon.
He said, "Yes, that's one them, but not all of them, of the promises of--of your Jesus."
He said, "I perceive that you have read the New Testament."
He said, "I've read the whole Bible of yours through many times."
He said, "But we under--you understand, sir, we better scholars have learned that Mark 16, from the 9th verse on, is not inspired writing, that promise there. That was put in there falsely."
And the Mohammedan looked at the Christian, he said, "What kind of a Book are you reading?" Said, "All the Koran's inspired. And if just part of your Book is inspired, and other parts are not inspired, how will you know which one is inspired?"

SIRS.WE.WOULD.SEE.JESUS_ EDMONTON.AB SUNDAY_ 57-0804E
E-15 Mr. Reedhead said, "I knew right then, I had not come in contact with just an overnight boy. That man knew what he was talking about." He said, "Brother Branham, I kicked my foot in the sand and changed the subject." And he said, "I was called to preach the Gospel at seven years old." And he said, "When I got my B.A.," said, "I thought, surely I'd find Jesus right there; He wasn't there." He said, "When I got my D.D. I thought I would find Jesus there, but He wasn't there." And he said, "I perhaps, got enough degrees, honorary degrees, to plaster your wall, here." He said, "But where is Christ in all of it?" He said, "Has the teachers been wrong?"
And I said, "Sir, I wouldn't want to say the teachers was wrong, what they told you was all right, but there's some more to it."

SIRS.WE.WOULD.SEE.JESUS_ EDMONTON.AB SUNDAY_ 57-0804E
E-16 He said, "Now, Brother Branham, I've been in the Pentecostal meetings," and knowing that I was a Baptist, and he said, "I seen them kick over chairs and tear up the furniture. But I want to ask you something: Is there anything to that Holy Ghost that they talk about?"
I said, "Absolutely, it's the truth."
He said, "Then as a Baptist to a Baptist, I want to ask you: Abraham believed God and it was imputed unto him for righteousness." Said, "What more could Abraham do but believe God?"
I said, "That's true. But God give him circumcision as a witness and a confirmation He had received his faith. And no matter how much you profess faith, until God gives you the Holy Spirit, the confirmation, the Seal of God, He's never recognized your faith yet. Ephesians 4:30 says, 'Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby you're sealed until the day of your redemption.'"
He said, "Mr. Branham, I want the Holy Spirit now."
And on the floor he fell, and broke the glass in the little coffee table as his hand went down there. And Morse Reedhead has received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and is preaching Divine healing in the nation tonight.

I've been listening to his others sermons and wanted to say thanks for recommending him :) its been very interesting. especially the sermon where he says that no one has the right to tell anyone they are a child of God except the Holy Spirit. Only HE has the authority to tell them and give them the His spirit to live in their heart and allow them to cry whole heartedly "Abba, Father"

Praise God for His servants, teachers, and pastors He sends this world so full of lies and deception to shine the light in the darkness and lead people back to GOD and His salvation.

So Great Salvation
By Paris Reidhead
(Transcript of Tape)
Will you please turn to Hebrews, Chapter 1. I want you to notice carefully the first two verses, and then without delay we'll read
Chapter 2, verse 1. Now, there's a reason which I will explain. The balance of Chapter 2, from verse three on, exalts the Lord
Jesus above angels in His character and office. Whereas we recognize this we are desirous of knowing why.
"God, Who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in times past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days
spoken unto us by His Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Therefore we ought to
give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. For if the word spoken
by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward; How shall we
escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them
that heard him;"

The Scriptures tell us that the word of angels was steadfast.
God respected, honored and attested the word of angels. If this were true, and it was, how much more should we expect Him to
honor, respect and confirm the word of His Son.
Let's center our attention on Hebrews 2:3, "How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation; …"

The word salvation is an immense word. When you trace it through the New Testament you will find that there are actually four
tenses of salvation.
1) The Present Perfect Tense: I have been saved, from the pleasure of sin .. repentance,
2) The Past Tense: I was saved, from the penalty of sin .. justification,
3) Present Continuous Tense: I am being saved, from the power of sin ... sanctification
4) The Future Tense: I shall be saved, from the presence of sin ... glorification.
If someone questions, "Are you saved?" it would be quite in order for you to say, "How do you mean it: I was saved, I have been
saved, I am being saved, or I shall be saved."

The word "saved" has been usually compressed by most of us to be equivalent to forgiveness, but in the Bible the meaning is far
more inclusive than just pardoned. In Romans 13:11 the Apostle Paul says, "for now is our salvation nearer than when we
believed." If He has saved us by His death, how much more shall we be saved by His life?

Salvation is an immense word, as is the word sanctification. In the mind of God our sanctification was planned before the world
began. It was accomplished at Calvary, and it became ours potentially at the point of repentance. It became ours experientially
as we saw ourselves in union with Christ and will be effective throughout the endless ages of eternity.

These are vast words, immense words. When we read in Hebrews 1:3, "How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation;"
we cannot say, "Well, thank God, my sins are pardoned. I haven't neglected salvation." The word here used includes everything
that God in grace has done for His people through the work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. The warning given in Hebrews
1:3 is not regarding pardon from past sins alone. It is neglecting anything that the Lord provided for His people, and thus deals
with that heart of indolence that selectively says, "Well, I'd like this from the Lord, but really, I'm not the least interested in any
more."
The admonition in the first verse is equally explicit: "We ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard,"
Why? Because there is a tendency to allow precious things to slip through out hands.
At great sacrifice as a fledgling Baptist preacher I had given my bride-to-be a diamond engagement ring, which she wore
constantly, along with the gold wedding band after we were married. We tried to make our mud brick, thatched roof African hut
an attractive home by bordering the path leading to the house with colorful zinnias. It was the beginning of the rainy season and
the heavy clay soil was sticky, like glue. Whenever Marjorie passed down the path she automatically pulled weeds threatening
the young zinnia plants. One day, after such a routine procedure, my wife entered the house and proceeded to wash her hands.
To her dismay and grief the set in her diamond ring was gone, pulled out by the sticky mud attached to the weeds. That which
Marjorie prized greatly was gone ... lost forever.
I believe this is implied in the text. We become concerned about daily routines. Truth which was in the eternal mind and heart of
God and purchased at the tremendous price of the blood of Christ, just slips through out fingers and slides away; not
intentionally, but we are left with nothing but regrets. It isn't refusal; it isn't rejection, it is neglect. The question is, "How are we
going to face Him who purchased these priceless privileges with His precious blood, included them in His word, and had
expounded them to our hearts? How are we going to escape? What are the consequences? You understand, of course, that if a person neglects repentance and faith in Jesus Christ he will be
forever in hell. I am confident that in hell there are multitudes of people who intended some day to repent. I can't believe that
everyone in hell made up his mind at some point of crisis that he was determined to be lost.
Years ago I had an interesting conversation with a young man in Richmond, Virginia. At the request of his mother-in-law, as the
visiting evangelist/missionary speaker, I had called in the home. The subject of "religion” was eventually broached.
He proclaimed firmly, "Religion is all right for the old, Christianity and salvation are good for people when they are on their last
legs. But anyone who is as young as I am doesn't want to be saddled with a lot of 'do's and don'ts; When I get old enough to
take my social security, I'll also take my 'heaven security', and I'll get along fine until then. Right now, sir, don't bother me."

well you can read or listen to the rest yourself if you are interested :) love you bro.
