Maybe we just need details from the Asburians themselves.

Why are people so quick to judge them..how can we test the spirits if nobody is actually speaking or recording what is happening but just saying oh its a spontaneous outpouring. A spontaneous outpouring of ..what?

There have always been lots of fast talking preachers, but people do that all the time on street corners in cities, so what is different about Asbury? . It is not like you always have to have a pre-prepared sermon in church.

I just recently learned of this happening and normally I would be skeptical of it's validation but the thing is they are all just worshipping God and that is the key factor.
Praise and worship to God is the key to opening the door to his inner circle the depths of himself his power it is the one tool we have that makes the demons shriek and cover their ears aside from the name of Jesus.

When we are facing hardship in life and we don't know how to deal with it worship him and sing praise songs I promise this brings him close and you will see more and more of him the more you spend your days worshipping him.
For sure Christians should worship God. I wish I could say that everything I see in meetings was in fact worship. A lot is more a feel-good Christian entertainment program. Christian performers are the centre of attention, the name of Jesus is not given prominence and the place of preaching has been diminished. Some churches have no preaching or teaching.

Ephesians 4:

11And it was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12to equip the saints for works of ministry and to build up the body of Christ, 13until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, as we mature to the full measure of the stature of Christ.

14Then we will no longer be infants, tossed about by the waves and carried around by every wind of teaching and by the clever cunning of men in their deceitful scheming. 15Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Christ Himself, who is the head. 16From Him the whole body, fitted and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love through the work of each individual part.

All the ministry gifts are focused on God's truth. It is truth that sets us free. The Word of God is the sword of the Spirit, not feel good, repetitious singing. Sure, there is a place for worship. But if that is all there is, God's people will suffer spiritual malnutrition. That this is happening is obvious from the state of the church generally.
