It's like...

Throw Jesus in the gap, replace him with the Devil, build a temple to replace the temple that Jesus is actually in, toss out the new covenant that Jesus confirmed, and replace it with a seven year covenant written up with the devil.....

*face palm*
you know, this is exactly what happened.

because when you sever that 70th week, you have Jesus just hanging off in a-mystery-time-warp-space-gap.

that was HIS WEEK.

they have Him gapped out for 2000 years.

Since when as Jesus confirmed a covenant with anyone for 7 years.

The only agreement Jesus made was, believe on him and you shall be saved.

I think you might find it’s the prince of this world that confirms the covenant with many for 7 years.

Danile9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

27 And he
(the prince of this world) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Daniel 9:27 says that He confirms the covenant it does not say He makes a covenant. Go to this post it has more info http://christianchat.com/bible-discussion-forum/33601-covenant-daniel-9-27-a.html#post583436
So what? Many make the covenant for seven years and then Jesus confirmed it for them?

Nobody else is the author

2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.

Jesus is the man, Jesus is the boss, and Jesus made the rules.

And he never made or confirmed a covenant for seven years.

Just the dying on the cross for are sins thing, and opening the door to everlasting life.

Daniel 9 has the 70 weeks. the 7 FUTURE years comes from taking the 70th week out of the PAST and placing in the future.

the 70 weeks were a specific timing for Messiah, which was fulfilled by Jesus.

Mark 1:15
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

the 70 week plan was for Daniel's people and city to bring Messiah and salvation.

the prophecy of 70 weeks is a prophecy of 490 years - 70 weeks of years - 70 x 7

it all happened within the 490 years - this limits it to Jesus Christ and His apostles (they walked with Him) only.

The Lord was anointed (baptism), called His disciples (apostles), ministered, died, was resurrected, and ascended.

Jesus decreed the destruction of Daniel's unfaithful people (daniel wasn't there) and city in His (Christ's) generation - while He walked the earth.

Matthew 3
7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: 9 And think not to say within yourselves..

Matthew 21
33 Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country: 34 And when the time of the fruit drew near..

Matthew 22
22 And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, 2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, 3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.

Matthew 24
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Luke 19
41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, 42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. 43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies..

Luke 21
20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

Luke 23
27 And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him. 28 But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.

the city was destroyed by (prince) Titus Vespasian in 70AD - later became Caesar.

....

Daniel 9
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks:

Jesus is specifically said to come AFTER the 69th week.

AFTER.

what comes AFTER the 60th week? the 70th!

69 weeks bring us to Messiah. they do not include Him. He is announced AS Messiah in the 70th week, not before.

Messiah (Messias gr.) is used x2 here in Daniel; and only x2 elsewhere:

John 1
41 He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.

John 4
25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.

so we know Daniel is ONLY referring to Messiah.

Jesus was not announced nor recognized as Messiah until His baptism

Luke 3
21 Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, 22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son

john the baptist was to make Jesus known to Israel as Messiah:

John 1
31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.

John 1
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

Jesus was anointed by the Holy Spirit - upon His baptism:

38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Luke 4
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

ETC

.......

JESUS WOULD DIE IN THE THE 70TH WEEK

Daniel 9:26
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations

Messiah was to be cut off after 69 weeks (7 weeks plus 62 weeks), but not cut off for himself.

that puts His death IN the 70th week.

......

The people of the prince that shall come are the subject of the second independent clause here:

Daniel 9:26
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations

Jesus is the subject of the first portion (or clause) here:

Daniel 9
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation

why do you NOT see this????

.......

Jesus (he) confirmed the covenant with many during the last and 70th week.
The covenant confirmed in the Bible is the new covenant

Isaiah 42
6 I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, And will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, And give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles

Isaiah 53
3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: Hear, and your soul shall live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you, Even the sure mercies of David

Jeremiah 31
31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, That I will make a new covenant With the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers

Malachi 3:1
Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: And the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, Even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: Behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.

Matthew 26:28
28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Luke 1
72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, And to remember his holy covenant;

Acts 3
25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed. 26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you

Romans 15
8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:

11 Corinthians 11
25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

Hebrews 7:22
22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.

Hebrews 8
6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

Hebrew 9
15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Hebrews 10
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

Hebrews 12
24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Hebrews 13
20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

okay?

now please produce all the passages about a SATANIC GUY CONFIRMING A COVENANT FOR 7 YEARS.

(there are NONE).

Jesus confirmed it by His ministry and the ministry of His apostles.
He confirmed it by His death, and through his chosen apostles.

The Whole New Testament is actually The New Covenant!

the 70 weeks provided an end of sins (for those who believe) and righteousness (imputed to those who believe, righteousness they can now practice; reconciliation for iniquity; and He brought in everlasting righteousness - for those who believe!.

this is all about the blessing of the new covenant, which is based on the blood and atonement of Messiah the Prince, the very thing He accomplished IN the 70th week!

so....there's no FUTURE 70th week.
no, no 7 year TRIBULATION.
no satanic 7 year treaty or convenant.

THAT WAS CHRIST

That the thing zone, none of those verses say anything about there being on tribulation. or that matt 24 is fulfilled

Or that Daniel 9:27 is fulfilled already that’s just YOUR math. And you are entitle to your thoughts

But you are right about there is no 7 year tribulation, its just 3 ½ years

No tribulation ?

No prophets ?

No gifs?

No 1000 years to come?

You boys and girls are in the same club

No tribulation ?

No prophets ?

No gifs?

No 1000 years to come?

No antichrist?

A little bit further and the Bible will be gone

And people talk about the Catholics banning the Bible in the middle ages .

This is such a better way of doing it

No tribulation ?
No prophets ?
No gifs?
No 1000 years to come?
No antichrist?
