To the one that is given much, much is required of that person. meaning knowledge. some have little, others have a lot.

Adam and Eve tried to blame the devil, each other and even God, how did that work out for them?
all that about the serpent talking to them, this was added to the scripture later?

You can't say: the devil made me do it.

James 1:14,15: "But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death."

Ge 3:13 Then the LORD God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?" And the woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate."
does this mean you dont know the answer? the serpent is at the beginning of the passage and yes he did tempt eve.

Satan is still doing this to this day. why? according to this doctrine there is no need, we will sin anyway because of the sin nature.
the bible teaches sins are not passed down from the father to son. ever person is held accountable for their own sins, not someone else. if i am punished for someone elses wrong doing this would be an innocent person being punished, again, the Father says He does not do this.
this doctrine does not hold up when tested against scripture.

James also teaches the Most High does not tempt anyone. the Most High forms us in the womb yet according to this doctrine He forms us with a nature that tempts us to sin? not buying it. a loving Father wouldnt do that.

We only have to be honest with our self to realize we have a sin nature. I do not know why God did it this way but I believe in His way better than my way. Learning to recognize metaphors and figures of speech really helps to understand these things. Have you honestly ever had an encounter with a literal talking snake or spiritual being?

scripture says the Most High does not tempt us, thats Satans job.

i think think talking serpents are real. most every ancient culture wrote about them, why would all of them make up the same story.

by one man death entered the world.
For God cannot be tempted by evil, and God himself tempts no one. 14
1}Rather, each person is being tempted whenever he is being dragged off and enticed by the bait of his own desire. 15
2}Then, having conceived, the desire gives birth to sin;
3}and when sin is fully grown, it gives birth to death.

16 Don’t delude yourselves, my dear brothers.

In the course of time Kayin(cain) brought an offering to Adonai from the produce of the soil; 4 and Hevel(Abel) too brought from the firstborn of his sheep, including their fat.

Adonai accepted Hevel and his offering
5 but did not accept Kayin and his offering. Kayin was very angry, and his face fell. 6 Adonai said to Kayin,

“Why are you angry? Why so downcast? 7 If you are doing what is good, shouldn’t you hold your head high? And if you don’t do what is good, sin is crouching at the door — it wants you, but you can rule over it.” 8

Kayin had words with Hevel his brother; then one time, when they were in the field, Kayin turned on Hevel his brother and killed him.

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14 Nevertheless death reigned(kayin killed) from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Ok, let's go your way. Our all powerful God has allowed this devil creature to tempt mankind ever since Adam and Eve and at the end of time will toss him into the lake of fire. Why didn't He give him the boot in the beginning? Is that fair?

the same reason i dont do my kids homework for them, i want my children to learn. if there was no evil in this world, no one (Satan) tempting us, how would we ever improve. you need the testing to reach your full potential.

So it's ok for God to allow a devil being to tempt us but not our own fleshly nature? What ever floats your boat I reckon:)

that makes no sense at all. if Satan tempts us we have an option to say no. if the Most High designs us in the womb, against our will, to be sinners we have no choice. if i have a sin nature, i never asked for it IE it was never my choice.

When satan or our fleshly nature tempts us to sin we have the option to say no in either case. Did you ask for satan, was being plagued by him your choice? The only problem here is your failure to recognize a metaphor but it all plays out the same. Most Christian's see it as you do so no sweat. I just like to share the things I have learned. If others do not see it my way, that is fine.

The flesh desires to have it's own way. Satan knew that, and that is why he got Eve to see things his way so that he can have control. all he needed was to tempt the flesh, and it reacted like a wounded up clock ticking. That is how he got control of mankind.,but Eve had to eat the fruit first before he could control her flesh.

i will be happy to agree to disagree. the original sin is a doctrine that i have never agreed with, the idea that a Father would create children so they sin and then punish them for doing exactly what they are designed to do just sounds insane to me.
