“SON OF HAMAS” WINS COURT CASE: Calls to thank Christians who have been praying for him

Mosab's case has attracted international attention. This photo was taken on the set of a CNN interview with Christiane Amanpour.

By God’s grace and the prayers of evangelical Christians around the U.S. and around the world, Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of one of the founders of Hamas, won his court case Wednesday after the U.S. government relented and decided to grant him political asylum.
Mosab called me yesterday to tell me the good news. He asked me to pass on his heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been praying faithfully for him, including those who participated in the 2010 Epicenter Conference over the weekend. At the conference, we showed an exclusive interview with Mosab on how he moved from jihad to Jesus. Tens of thousands of Christians prayed for the Lord to protect him, grant him favor with the U.S. authorities, and give him courage and boldness to continue being a witness for how the Lord Jesus Christ has completely changed his heart and given him a deep love for the U.S., Israel, as well as his fellow Palestinians.

The U.S. government had threatened to deport Mosab as a “threat” to the United States given his past involvement in Hamas. If this had happened, Mosab could have been sent back to the West Bank where he would have faced almost certain assassination by Hamas terrorists. But at a hearing near San Diego yesterday, the judge essentially acknowledged that Mosab had truly renounced Islam, become a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, renounced Hamas, renounced violence, and become a double-agent for the Israeli intelligence services. In so doing, Mosab helped the Israelis thwart scores of terrorist attacks and arrest scores of terrorists, and thus save hundreds of innocent Israeli, Palestinian and American lives.
Supporting Mosab has been dozens of Congressman and Senators; former CIA Director James Woolsey; and Gonen Ben Itzhak, Mosab’s “handler” in the Shin Bet, Israel’s secret service agency (similar to our FBI). Since coming to the U.S. a few years ago, Mosab has been outspoken about the evils of Hamas and Radical Islam, and outspoken about his love for Jesus. His book, Son of Hamas, tells of his transformation from jihad to Jesus and hit the New York Times best-seller list this spring.
Thanks again to everyone who has been faithfully praying for Mosab. Please continue to pray for his safety, his spiritual growth, and for the Lord to give him wisdom where to live now, and how to invest his time for God’s kingdom

New International Version
The Holy Spirit Comes at Pentecost
1When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tonguesa as the Spirit enabled them.
5Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. 6When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking in his own language. 7Utterly amazed, they asked: “Are not all these men who are speaking Galileans? 8Then how is it that each of us hears them in his own native language? 9Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome 11(both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!” 12Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?”
13Some, however, made fun of them and said, “They have had too much wine.b
Peter Addresses the Crowd
14Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: “Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say. 15These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s only nine in the morning! 16No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
17“‘In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
18Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
and they will prophesy.
19I will show wonders in the heaven above
and signs on the earth below,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
20The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
21And everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord will be saved.’c
22“Men of Israel, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know. 23This man was handed over to you by God’s set purpose and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men,d put him to death by nailing him to the cross. 24But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him. 25David said about him:
“‘I saw the Lord always before me.
Because he is at my right hand,
I will not be shaken.
26Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
my body also will live in hope,
27because you will not abandon me to the grave,
nor will you let your Holy One see decay.
28You have made known to me the paths of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence.’e
29“Brothers, I can tell you confidently that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is here to this day. 30But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his throne. 31Seeing what was ahead, he spoke of the resurrection of the Christ,f that he was not abandoned to the grave, nor did his body see decay. 32God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of the fact. 33Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear. 34For David did not ascend to heaven, and yet he said,
“‘The Lord said to my Lord:
“Sit at my right hand
35until I make your enemies
a footstool for your feet.”’g
36“Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.”
37When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”
38Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”
40With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.” 41Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
The Fellowship of the Believers
42They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. 44All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. 46Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

God Bless you arabian_princess

For My Friend....arabian_princess

Adam and Eve were in the Garden, and they messed up big time!
So the first thing that the Lord did, was slay two animals, and the Lord placed the skins of those two animals, which I believe was still wet with blood, over Adam and Eve as a covering for a temporary covering of sins, yet it was a finger pointing to the future of what was to come!Key words(Finger pointing,Watch,4 days, and Lamb)
So time passed on by, and one day the Lord gives the Laws, Statues, and Ordinances, to Moses, and in the Laws,..The Jewish families were instructed to sacrifice a lamb that was without spot or blemish once a year for the temporary covering of sins,
They would place their lamb outside of their homes, and watch it for 4 days, and it would almost be like a pet.But on the fourth day, at 9 o'clock in the morning, they would tie the lamb up,...and come 3 o'clock that evening, they would slit the lambs throat from each family for the temporary covering of sins,...but the Priest's would do the same thing too, but would recite the Words..."PAID IN FULL!"
yet it was a finger pointing to the future of what was to come!

More time passed on by.....and one day a Man named John the Baptist, was baptizing people, and as he was doing so....he saw the Lord walking towards him and John pointed his finger and said..."Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!"
A little more time passed on by and then one day on March 30, a.d. 33,the Lord rode into Jerusalem on a little donkey, all of them were watching Him intently...this was a special day,...a day as to whether they would accept or reject the Lord of Creation as their Long awaited Messiah,..this was the Day of their VISITATION!

For four days they watched Him and on the fourth day at 9 o'clock in the morning,..they bound His hands and feet with nails onto the cross of Calvary,....and come 3 o'clock that evening,..The Lord gave up His Life on the Cross of Calvary(Notice That He gave up His Life fore no man could take it unless He gave it up willingly)
But just as He was giving up His Spirit into His Fathers Hands,...The Lord Shouted,...."PAID IN FULL!!!"

Beginning in the book of Genesis throughout all the old testiment,.......every act,..every shadow type was a finger pointing towards what was to come,..the Cross of calvary!
Even when abraham went on top of the mountain to slay his one and only son,..the angel stopped his hand from slaying his only son.
And it was on this very exact same spot on this mount that God the father gave His one and only begotten Son to die fot the sins of the world....Mount moriah!..............Praise the Lord Jesus.
He is awesome!

I have a complaint. Your thread title is misleading! "the anti-christ may be here" made me think he was in the forum, and then I come in here and its the usual theories about some EU guy.

Obviously,..you are not a watchman,..and maybe a beginner of bible endtime prophecy.
I suggest that you pray, then study the scriptures and then take a hard look at developing current events,...but you better hurry,...your running out of time to grasp the whole picture.
This is not a game,..this is very real.
You say lame?............I do not see much maturity in your answer.

666;THE ANTI CHRIST IN THE FLESH - YouTube

The Lord is near!

The Lord is near!

The Lord is near!

Psalm 145:18; Psalm 34:18

Will preach later on about the Lord is near to us and being near in coming...
Nearer than we think...

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
(Col 1:27)

I think it's funny to see these threads from years gone by saying, "Current events are pointing to the anti-christ and the end of the world!"

Yet we're still here, and very little has changed.

Same story, different verse.

(Col 1:27)

Ahm, are you talking about the Holy Spirit? Yes, Christ is in us but what I'm saying is physical thing. Anyway, compare to you brother, i'm mediocre. No worries about that. Disclaimer: I'm not a professional preacher, I'm not preaching here or even in a large crowd. I'm going to preach before a small group.

And just shared this video because many are claiming they are the 'Messiah'. The Lord is near and closer than we think like, Christ is in you is different as you are with Christ or nearer to Christ. And that's what I pointed out in a small group. I would like to convey to the group, it doesn't matter if Christ is in you or the Lord is near, the question is are you drawing near to God? James 4:8. Ref: Psalm 145:18; Psalm 73:28; Psalm 34:18

Imagine that from Psalm 73:8 becomes Psalm 73:28 That is the result of someone who is near God and Christ in him.

Psalm 73.8

They scoff, and speak with malice, with arrogance they threaten oppression.
They scoff, and speak only evil, in their pride their seek to crush others.

In order for one to draw 'near' to Christ, first, one must have Christ indwelling them. As believers we have access through His Blood...unbelievers have no access.

Now as for others here that are mocking the soon return, you are falling into the mold of unbelievers as stated in Peter...

2 Peter 3:3-4 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

If in order for one to draw near to God, first one must have Christ indwelling them, then may I ask you, brother about this.

Luke 19:1-10
The story of Zacchaeus, the Tax Collector.

Are the sinners not welcome to draw near to God? How can Jesus be known if they have already Christ within them?

Draw near to God and he will draw near to you (James 4:8), that's the only time he will live in you. He lives n your heart. God looks at the heart where Jesus lives, not in your mind. What comes first, Christ within you or Christ near you? And what you have to respond being Jesus near you? Of course, it's drawing near to him.

I don't know bro. My final answer is Psalm 131:1-2

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
