Not only is this a literal city, but it will be literally burnt with fire.

Of course, this literal city will also purchase the items from the merchants that are listed in verses 12 through 13 (all which pertain to a temple), and in it will be found the blood of prophets (vs. 24) whose blood God will avenge (vs. 20). Then there are all of the other descriptors of this "great city" (where the Lord was crucified, spiritually called Sodom and Egypt, where Peter wrote his epistle from, etc., etc.), all of which you have conveniently overlooked as you have spread your nonsense here.

Babylon the Great is Jerusalem, and no fairy tale that you can ever come up with is going to change this reality.

You need a lot of help, and it will only be found on your knees repenting before the Lord.

Like I said, somebody had to tell you...otherwise Christ himself will tell you on the day of judgment.

You are butchering God's word, and that ought to make you fear and tremble.

Shall you go on? I hope not. Without accusations of heresy, of cluelessness, foolishness, deceitfulness, ignorance, or an inability to think (just a few of the accusations you have made on this thread), I will just say that I disagree with your papal Rome/Jerusalem interpretation.

Spiritual Babylon is confusion, a state of mind that exists not just in Jerusalem. Spiritual Babylon exists everywhere—globally. This state of confusion can endanger a person, even someone who professes to be a believer, into following an an antichrist—and eventually the Antichrist. We are all in the process of escaping it with the help of the Holy Spirit and the Word.

Nevertheless, the main point I‘d like to make here is that mean-spirited words are never convincing—they only alienate, and they are a poor example of Christian behavior. As I said before, it is our Father who will provide wisdom and understanding of scripture to those who seek it. This thread is merely for discussion, and anyone should be welcomed to share, to question, to be challenged, to learn, and to grow without name calling and bullying.

Many cities are mentioned in prophecy. Depending on context, city might be Jerusalem, Babylon, or some other city whose name is yet unknown. All here have the right to post their thoughts without being subjected to ridicule and mockery.

l think the fourth beast in daniel will be a one world gov. because the angel reveals that this beast will differ from the others by trampling the whole earth etc.

Mankinds greatest effort to give life to anything is artificial intellegence, in my opinion.
It seems like it would be virtually impossible to create one image that encompasses a global entity.

The implication is that John perceives something that has a humanlike form but he beleives that its not really human, even though they did a good job on the eyes.
That's a good description of the latest robot designs.
This living image will claim to be God.
I don't think that the entire world has ever worshipped any one thing at the same time.
A couple of things that come to mind are money and the www, or rather the imagery and entertainment it gives access to.
Something else of interest to me is that one heads of the beast is dealt a mortal wound and then somehow miraculously healed.
This causes the population of the world to be in awe and compelled to follow this beast.
This healing must be very remarkable indeed.
What deception could be so well designed as to fool the elect of God, (if it were possible)?
What if this healing is actually a ressurrection?
What if AI figures out a method that can translate a human intellect into an eletronic algorithim?
God said "it is appointed once for man to die"
What if satan asks " did god really say you have to die"?
"You can continue to exist for millenia in my paradise".
"You will be as god"!
How many would be able to resist such a temptation?
To see friends and family members living in a metaverse, a cyberworld long after they would have been dead, and then choose to die when the time comes instead of joining the crowd.
That's a lie capable of fooling almost anyone.
I believe there's a scripture that says something like "there will come a time when a man will seek death and won't be able to find it"
Practically speaking, how could that happen?

Or maybe someone who's consciousness is under complete control of a demonic superintellegence, that has real time access to all the data containing everything that they have ever searched, scrolled, liked, followed, and deleted, everything that their's and any other phone's tablet's etc. camera and mic has recorded since they have been on the earth.
The choice to commit suicide could even be denied.
A man could seek death and not be able to find it.
God included information in his word about the past and the future.
From the beginning through the end of this world and the beginning of the next.
It's included because its integral and transformative.

There's a thread right now called "What is the point of being a prophet?" where the original poster starts with that question and then several posts later give his prophecy about the beast which he thinks is Russia, the antichrist which he thinks is Putin and the US he thinks is Babylon. There are too many Bible verses that contradict that prophecy and I posted that as such.

I'm truly surprised that no one is posting against that false prophecy except me though. This forum is well versed in the Rapture and its various positions of No-. Pre-, Mid-, and Post-Tribulation Rapture. So the silence on other areas of study on the end times is quite significant and I think strange.

I like your posts and I believe you have good understanding. But "heresy" is a serious accusation. Perhaps your words would be better received without (unnecessary) condemnation?

Christians can be wrong about some things, without being damned. What say you?
