I hope you’re anti-Catholic point of view brings you closer to God.
Do you, really? Or is that an attempt at sarcasm? Sarcasm is often hard to read into text. Plus, it is generally considered a very low form of humor. I usually don't get it simply because the person employing such a device often says the opposite of what they actually mean, which is dishonest. If an anti-Catholic pov brings one closer to God, why would any stick with a Catholic pov? And why would someone with a Catholic pov, come to a protestant site, where Catholicism is viewed as heretical?

You’re something else man. I don’t agree with you obviously. I hope you’re anti-Catholic point of view brings you closer to God.

Is what I said untrue? That all I want to know?

"The Father Of Roman Catholicism, Emperor Constantine The Great"

the very title of this thread is about the political power of what is know as the RCC is it not?

Why is Emperor Constantine the great remembered in history contextually in the world? he was the first Emperor to convert to Christianity we are told in history.
he and the Edict of Milan established religious toleration for Christianity within the Roman Empire. It was the outcome of a political agreement concluded in Mediolanum granted all persons freedom to worship whatever deity they pleased, assured Christians of legal rights (including the right to organize churches), and directed the prompt return to Christians of confiscated property.

This was a great thing because it stopped the persecution of Christians but it also embraced pagan beliefs and practices and stifled true conversion. People in Roman became Christian because of affiliation instead of transformation.

Where does the site say it’s only for Protestants? It’s clear he has a lot of hate in his heart.

Where is the proof that you have that shows another Christian during that time talking about how they were going to adopt pagan beliefs? Could you provide a name of one of the early Christians that did that?

so you failed to acknowledge the truth of my comments ok FYI the Protestant reformation has its issues too. And it also has the problem as the RCC. They have both an affiliation and an identification with a movement instead of Christ. I have no hate :). Don't get upset if you tout the RCC as the first "Church" then get mad when I point out the historical truth of their first errors

also, there will mostly LIKELY be AS MANY SELF PROFESSING protestants going to hell as there are RCC. Because Jesus is the only way.

Not Mary, not praying to dead saints, not wokeism, not praying money for your sins not being baptist not being pentacostel BUT repenting for your sins and accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and savior placing one's trust in His death burial and resurrection for our sin completely is the only way.

You said this is a Protestant board, I asked where does the site say that?
Yes, this site is owned and run by a protestant who views Catholicism as heretical.

Proof.

It is also true that many protestant members also view Catholicism as heretical.

Since you are relatively new, you may not have been aware of these things.

However, now you have been informed :)

First off, I haven’t touched on many of the topics you listed in the above post. I’ve made no historical arguments that I’m aware of on here.

But if you’re going to say the Catholic Church is tainted by paganism then I would expect any person to provide some proof for that. If you can point to a Christian during the time of Constantine saying they were going to adopt pagan beliefs into the church then I’d personally like to see that.

Believe it or not, Catholics adore Jesus the same way Protestants do. There doesn’t have to be any hateful dialogue between us.

Saying this is a protestant site does not equate to saying "protestants only" as you falsely claimed.

Catholics are welcome as long as they do not push their heretical views.

Actually all are welcome as long as they act according to the terms and conditions of this site.

Maybe the site needs to update their thread on Reporting other people then. Because the heresies listed don’t even slightly conflict with Catholic beliefs

I am not sure which thread you are talking about.

The thread I linked to was to show that this is a protestant site owned and run by someone who views Catholicism as heretical.

LOL, dear friend, all one has to do is look at the current practices of the RCC and what was done back during Emporer Constantine and improper first " church". it was he who took the sign of the cross because of a dream " “In this sign, conquer.” And he did.

he gave the Christian God the credit. He issued the Edict of Milan, which proclaimed that subjects of Rome could follow any religion they chose. The decree also officially recognized Christianity and provided that churches and individual Christians who lost property in the persecutions would be reimbursed from the imperial treasury. Though the decree guaranteed freedom of religion for pagans as well,

That opened the door for much political influence which the RCC became the first political church. That was a no no. To fail to realize that from history and the word of God is an error.

praying to the dead is pagan. paying(money) for sins in extortion. That is the historical truth of the leadership's first political church the RCC. you ask "provide a name of one of the early Christians that did that? "

The Church name and the founders of the RCC.

don't create a false narrative of hate I'm sure they do adore Jesus almost as much as they do Mary.

I have provided the proof your own RCC history teaches it. the very services going on today emulate it.

There is a pinned thread about using the Report button. In it, it lists heresies that should be reported. If you don’t want Catholics talking about Catholic beliefs then it needs to be more clear. I’m not exactly sure why someone would have a problem with discussing differences between Catholics and Protestants.

Please stop misrepresenting what I have said. I have nowhere said you may not discuss your beliefs.

You have a problem with discernment.

As a Catholic, I’m appreciative of Mary and believe she was a wonderful person and Christian. However, she pails in comparison to our God Jesus Christ.

What you don’t seem to grasp is that statement in the Catechism (CCC 814) comes from the council of Vatican II and that there is a further explanation that Vatican II wrote concerning CCC 814.

NO Catholic believes Muslims can believe what Islam teaches and still go to heaven. I’m not sure you’re aware that Catholics fought 3 holy wars against Muslims.
814 From the beginning, this one Church has been marked by a great diversity which comes from both the variety of God's gifts and the diversity of those who receive them. Within the unity of the People of God, a multiplicity of peoples and cultures is gathered together. Among the Church's members, there are different gifts, offices, conditions, and ways of life. "Holding a rightful place in the communion of the Church there are also particular Churches that retain their own traditions." The great richness of such diversity is not opposed to the Church's unity. Yet sin and the burden of its consequences constantly threaten the gift of unity. And so the Apostle has to exhort Christians to "maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."

What is the correlation between ccc 814 with Muslim in the plan of salvation because adore the same God with catholic mankind's judge on the last day?

My brother, from what I read, catholic believe pope is Jesus representative on earth, Jesus is the King of king that rule the world so pope must represent Jesus rule the world, that is way catholic need support from the big religion like Muslim
CCTV 841 is nothing but manipulation or lie.
