The flesh, must be crucified. Our flesh must be crucified, even as violently as Jesus's was. It must be nailed to a cross, even as violently. This is how severe the case is.

If our flesh is not crucified we cannot enter into life. This is how serious it is. We cannot hold onto the things of this life, of this flesh, of this world. We must be excommunicated.
We must suffer. And then we will learn from the things we suffer.

If you do not put your life on the line for it, you have no part in it. Who can partake of that communion worthily? Are you worthy? Can you drink from that cup?

This flesh must not only die, but it must be crucified. If it is not crucified, there is no chance of resurrection for you. You will die even though you live. But those who take up this cross will live, even though they die. You must forsake the world and all the lust of it. Give it up. Follow Jesus.

Let the dead people play around with dead things. Pursue life. Take hold of it. Endure it. Bear the cross of our Lord.

Without Jesus, we can do nothing, as Jesus could do nothing without the Father. Yet, for our hope he said, ''Nevertheless, thine will be done Father!!''

AMEN!!! HOLY HOLY HOLY IS THE LAMB THAT WAS SLAIN TO RECEIVE POWER AND HONOR AND GLORY AND DOMINION!! HOLY IS THE LAMB WHO WAS SLAIN!! HOLY HOLY HOLY!!! AMEN!!!

May Jesus bless you.

How clear is that... Thank you brother in Christ and thank you Jesus for sending TRUTH preachers to show us that if we do not die we cannot live! Jesus you said it best. those that want to keep their lives will lose it, but those that lose it for YOUR SAKE will gain it! I die daily, Lord, and when I died off ALL the flesh (sin) I know the pure spirit will be baptized HOLY! Lord Jesus, let us die for Your sake, Amen!

Galatians 5:24 "And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts."
I believe we are not fornicators nor adulterers. Praise God. I believe Christian people are set apart by God. We crucify the works of the flesh. I believe we are not drunkards, thieves, or fornicators. We believe the Bible and don't seek the things of this World and the lust of the flesh. Praise by to God that we are born again and have a differnet nature. We don't seek after the desires of the sinful nature, but we have been born again.

I was sharing with someone dear to me about what dawned on me in James 2. How Abraham by works was called righteous and a friend of Gods. The works being He had to give up that which was asked of Him. As we walk with Jesus He will point out what He would like us to lay down, santification, yet at the same time He knows we are pretty hopeless and His grace covers us til we do, if we don't we don't grow into maturity of Him, not that He rejects us because He will finish the work He has started in us. But our hearts must be open, the flesh must be brought under submission to death, to deny it of it's lusts. If our hearts are closed and we just claim grace and ignore it all together then really we are mocking God. This convicts me just writing it, we all, if we are brutally honest with ourselves still have more to lay down that hinder us.
Revelations makes mention, to those who overcome is given a crown, still to this day that troubles me of the seriousness the Father has about His Sons blood shed for us, grace empowering us to reign over the death of our flesh. Can we reach perfection here, I don't know but doesn't mean we don't be attentive to what He's asks us to lay down along the way.
Lord have mercy on me.
God is good at being patient with us.

For the word of the cross is to those who are perishing, foolishness; but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God.

For there is nothing good that dwells in me, that is, in my flesh.

I die daily.

I have been crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ lives in me; and the life I live now I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

The gospel of Jesus Christ has been changed over the centuries, and the price which we must pay has been hidden by liars. When we truly come to Christ, we come to be joined to Him in fact, in His death first, then His burial, and then His resurrection. If we have not in fact been joined to Him in His death, then we are still living in the flesh and after the flesh, and are by this in fact enemies of God and the cross of Christ Jesus.

The only Christians who are alive are those who have already died.

Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life; everyone who believes in Me shall live, even if he dies; and everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?"

Even those who are still alive shall be saved, but at a cost. As by fire. Everyone who believes shall be saved.

Nevertheless, everyone who is still alive in the flesh, who has not died in Christ to the life of the flesh, is an enemy of His cross.

Thank you Ramon.

Even after the flesh is crucified, it still tries to deceive us by its lusts. And so God gave us the Holy Spirit, so that by Him we can put to death the lusts of the flesh. And every child of God is lead by the Holy Spirit.

One cannot be born again unless they at least see the need to die.

And so we are not obligated to walk after the flesh and its lusts, but after the Spirit and after life. For everyone who walks after the flesh must die. But the Spirit is life and happiness and peace with God.

Stay the course Jonathan.

Brother, the fact is that maturity is in truth finding the death of Christ in order to find His life as all that we have left. And the only way that this works is by the revelation of the Holy Spirit, as He shows us where the flesh has acted, in order that we might by Him put the flesh and its lusts to death. We are not spiritually aware enough to clearly see the flesh, to see the ways that we are mislead by the flesh, our flesh. And that is why we need the Spirit to show us, because it is our flesh.

After the Father crucified me I would cry every time I heard the word of the cross, no matter where or from who. For seven years. I could not have been delivered from the power of the flesh, its deceptions and evasions and lusts and deceits, because I was indoctrinated to believe that the flesh was dead metaphorically. Symbolically. Something that happened but without any real change in me. This is a lie.

Every thought must be brought into captivity to Jesus Christ, at His cross!

In His love,

The broken spirit, the broken and contrite heart, cries out to God for deliverance.

But what do they seek to be delivered from?

A life of sin, a life based upon sin, which is unable to live righteous before God, which knows that it is an abhorrence before God. It cries out to be crucified to this old life in order to live in the resurrection of Jesus and thus become pleasing to God.

God will not despise this heart.

God will hear this heart.
