Let's look at the verse again:
Revelation 18:8
Therefore in one day her plagues will overtake her:
death, mourning and famine.
She will be consumed by fire,
for mighty is the Lord God who judges her.
No one is adding to it but you with the stuff you read from other people's dreams. And no one is taking away from it. You're just saying that because you weren't the one to note it.
But the Bible itself says whatever place this is will be consumed by fire and is warning people to not only come out of her spiritually, but physically as well.
It's not the first time God warned people to get out of a place before He destroys it, right? Remember Lot and his family when His angels were about to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah? Noah and his family having to build the ark? If Lot and his family refused (except Lot's wife who looked back) to leave and Noah and his family didn't build the ark, they would have all died, even if they didn't participate in the sins of their community.
You've been talking on this thread like you're the only one God talks to and has been given special insight, when it's all there for all of God's people to see for themselves in the Bible. So really, I'd rather listen to other more humble Christians who aren't trying to draw so much attention to themselves over this.

There are some who believe that these prophecies apply to the USA. But that is not what we see in Scripture. The Antichrist will rule the world from Jerusalem, sitting in the future temple and declaring that he is God. He will not be aligned with Muslim terrorists either, but the nations which were formerly in the Holy Roman Empire. Eventually he will gather his armies against Israel for the battle of Armageddon, only to be thoroughly crushed by Christ.

From the very outset your "interpretation" is wrong, Babylon in The Revelation of Jesus Christ is a CITY (it is called "the city, the great one," 2 definite articles), NOT a country (the USA). With you basic premise being wrong, everything else in your "theory" is wrong!

A word of warning, if you think you can treat "The Revelation of Jesus Christ" with levity, I suggest you think again, as there is not only a blessing on those who read it and keep it, but a curse on those who wilfully add or subtract from it! Rev 1v3, 22v18,19.

You changed the metaphor in Rev 18:8 into something literal. According to your view of "fire" the plagues, pestilence and fire will have to occur in one day. Ridiculous. I am trying to help you understand the scriptures properly.

You changed the metaphor "great city", into being literal. If you compare that thought with the rest of the scriptures you will find that this view is absurd. For example the woman, which is Babylon the great, reigns over the kings of the earth. If you think anyone is going to buy the idea that a city is going to reign over the kings of the earth you are mistaken.

I did not realize you do not accept/understand, the word Jerusalem, to more then just the name of the city. As i see it Jerusalem was the center of Judaism . Judaism is an antichrist religion. Judaism had the Romans murder Jesus . ( although He gave His life) God sent His vengeance upon the city which included the folks living there and their antichrist religion. The Revelation of Jesus Christ has more in volume then only chapters 16 -18. . They the Jewish leaders martyred christians . Murdered The Son of God, under the covering of keeping the LAW.

When posting in forums if one posts a lot of Scriptures they are not read. When one post a single Scripture ya get told 'out of context. the references are posted anyone can look up the context

The scriptures you posted have nothing to do with Babylon the great. The reason you don't post any is because I told you and you now know that Jerusalem doesn't fit the descriptions or the effects of the judgements found in Rev 16-18.

Really "because you told me" you have one huge ego. Those Scriptures may not fit your narrative while they may well fit mine or an others . It is not up to you to tell me what i am to think or believe. Do you have some idea you are David Koresh or Jim Jones while fellow poster are your followers ? One of the reasons that Jesus sent me to share that the USA is Babylon the Great is because Rev 18:4 contains a warning to the believers.
Rev 18:4 states And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, "Come out of her, my people, that you may not participate in her sins and that you may not receive of her plagues;
This scripture is a warning to the believers, that if they participate in the sins that the Communists in the Democratic Party are committing, either directly or indirectly by voting for one of these Socialists, they will receive their plagues.
