Krow is it not that God as HE has revealed Himself to us ion the bible start out as Elohym? and as we progress in the Word of God we see different attributes of the Same God? As the Word of God allows His divine nature to be seen ? when is the word Father used first in the bible ? and Who use it in Context to that name?
I am not sure and your post was typed in a confusing manner. My point was it's human attempts to try and describe the relastionship between the Messiah and God. You are making something out of nothing as well. Do you believe in the trinity or not? And that the messiah must be both, fully God and fully man? If He is not both, He can be no bridge between humanity and God.

what other sense are we talking about ??? flesh??? if you are born of the Spirit which if the same Holy Ghost ...and you are born of God the Father...do you have two persons as fathers or do you have one Father?....
Newbirth "do you have two persons as fathers or do you have one Father?...." can we ask that Q? without Jesus in it ?

We tend to call our earthly fathers father as well, but I do remember Jesus saying "Call no man Father..." but perhaps if i go back and read it He was only refering to the physical but I do remember Him saying that.

ah...here it is

Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: [SUP]2 [/SUP]“The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. [SUP]3 [/SUP]So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. [SUP]4 [/SUP]They tie up heavy, cumbersome loads and put them on other people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them. [SUP]5 [/SUP]“Everything they do is done for people to see: They make their phylacteries[SUP][a][/SUP] wide and the tassels on their garments long; [SUP]6 [/SUP]they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues; [SUP]7 [/SUP]they love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and to be called ‘Rabbi’ by others.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]“But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers. [SUP]9 [/SUP]And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. [SUP]10 [/SUP]Nor are you to be called instructors, for you have one Instructor, the Messiah. [SUP]11 [/SUP]The greatest among you will be your servant. [SUP]12 [/SUP]For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

confusing sorry I was asking you a Q? and please forgive my in ability to be clear. I do not see that I am trying to make anything. I have stated that I believe the bible speaks of the "GodHead". and I have stated the word Trinity is not in the bible it is a Concept to which I agree with. The Point is the Q? by Jackhammer as I have seen it is a suggestion that God the father and the holy Spirit is just another name for God and the Bible is very clear of the personification of all THREE God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. and most of the post that I have seen here have not included Christ in the equation.

but please continue

The other point I was trying to make is that we say the Father has no bodily form and He is a spirit. So obviously yes He is the Father of Christ, but the scriptures tend to use the word Holy Ghost, but I don't think it matters whether you want to say Father or Spirit there, both have the same ESSENCE anyway. Jesus for eternity has always been the expression of God in words and in body. You see Him in the Old Testament before He is born in a human body on Earth. Theophanies etc...

bottom line you either believe what Jesus claims about Himself or not..theology and understanding the trinity completely are secondary.

I would Disagree it does matter Because the Bible states very distinct titles for the Spirit of God according to HIS actions
Spirit of Truth
Spirit of the living God
Holy Ghost
Holy Spirit
Spirit of the Lord
Comforter

what does this Holy Spirit do?
teaches us
bring into remembrance everything Christ has said
Comfots us
Lead us and Guides us into all truth
Reprove the World of sin
give gifts
each of these workings show a very personification and personality and distinction that Christ our Lord spoke about.

All right then how is the operation of the Spirit and what He does, different from what the Father does? That would be what you should focus on I would think to further demonstrate the Father as the originator of Jesus and not the Holy Ghost? Or can you just subscribe that term to the Father as well? Or is it all feeble human attempts with words to describe it all...

I disagree with that point too if you do not understand all what Jesus said about God the Father as written the word of God, and what Jesus said about the Holy Spirit as it is written in the word of God, and What Jesus said about Himself as written in the word of God hoe can you know what Jesus mention in His claims ?

When you were saved did you understand the trinity completely or all of this? NO. what you understood is that there is no other name given to men under heaven by which they may be saved but Jesus, and you recognized your need for Him to be your saviour.

hmmm first off please let me say The Father is not the originator of Jesus the bible says Christ is enteral John 1.
Secondly how is the operation of the Spirit and what He does, different from what the Father ? it is not other than the word of God states the Working of the Holy Spirit is very distinct and shows personification. you suggest it is a feeble attempt with words to describe it all really? the word I used are in the Bible not mine.
the word Father in the biblical context in relation of God is the Creator of all things. you see you cannot explain the full nature of God as I cannot that is where you and I part. You think you can good luck

did I not say no one can fully understand the GodHead? What I have learned is that the Holy Spirit played the part in my coming to know the Lord Jesus Christ who presented me to the Father as the bible says

Context is important : try the rest of the verses Eph :4:4-7
There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;[SUP]5 [/SUP]One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
[SUP]6 [/SUP]One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Yes I should have said He proceeded from the Father it's a better choice of words, but im going back to what it says in maybe when Gabriel tells mary that she will be pregant through the Holy Ghost. Do you see what the original poster is asking? In terms of the Godhead and Jesus being "born" or "begotten" on Earth was it the Father or the Holy Spirit that impegnated Mary? Why does Jesus not say the Holy Spirit is my Father? I think explaining this as best you could would help the OP out. I wsa just arguing I think it's just probably the fact that the Bible was written by man and the mind of mind can only handle so much, even lead by the Holy Spirit. See how confusing this will all get very fast. I still hold to the fact the OP knows what he is doing and is just posting to post.

well thank you for your kind words I do want to be respectful to your points and your post. I would humbly suggest if you do know the intent of this persons post and Q?'s we can agree that his human Q? from a human Prospective is nothing more than a trap created to satisfy human reasoning. I also believe the bible Has an Author who is the Holy Spirit which gave the inspiration to man for all that is written. and I think from what I see in scripture this person lacks a relationship and possibly does not understand the GodHead as the Bible shows us in a limited way. God is who HE says HE is in the bible Jesus is who He sys HE is in the Bible the Holy Spirit is Who Jesus say HE is in the bible the Holy Spirit Does what Jesus says He will do in the bible. Now I cannot fully understand how . Nor will anyone be able to answer that which is spiritually discerned. So it would be better to not answer and state what we do know about the Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit as the bible tell us. and let those who have hidden agendas stand our even more :)

And this is why I cautioned the Author of the OP that he was treading on thin ice..................He was very close to blasphemy in a couple of his comments.............

I will not stoop to giving a step by step description of how a woman is impregnated.........for I will not stoop to the level of this person.......................sorry..............you guys need to take a step back and not try to apply human wisdom to this......

God the Father is God the Father BECAUSE HE IS THE FATHER...............there are ample Scriptures to explain how God the Father is the Father of God the Son....................From Genesis on to the Virgin Birth, and even after.............

anyway............this thread is quite dangerous in my opinion, for the Author was playing word games (in my opinion) seeking to cause just the debate/disagreement he has...........nothing more.

God bless............

that is why when the Q? is asked those should be able to state the bible does not give us a step by step answer other than what the bible gives period and we can defend the faith using the bible and nor human reasoning and expose the hidden agenda of those who are perverted without stooping down to that level. the mods are very capable to remove such people too. and he knows that that is why people like this get close to saying things that we know are perverted but do not cross that line until they want to be kicked out good word P_reh
