How do you know that He is working in your life?
How do you know that He is speaking and not your flesh, or the devil?

What is evidence that HE is working in an area, or the fruit that He is working in a person other than us?

::personal experiences are very much encouraged::..
Please share for the glory of GOD...

I love the following verses but much more are encouraged

Joe 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
Joe 2:29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

The Holy Spirit points us to Jesus...

2 Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Heb 12:2 (AMP)

I know He is working in me for the areas that I have struggled with in the past in lust, selfishness, and even hatred toward certain individuals. He has strengthen me in those areas I was the weakest, and now with His help I have better self control, want to do more for others then for self, and only show love to all.
Whenever a thought arises in my mind or desire in my heart, He speaks to me to lead me away from letting it become full grown and turn into a willful sin that will take control of me and my life. If I do sin, He convicts me with Godly sorrow that brings me to repentance and confessing my sin for forgiveness.

This is what was pulled together from Him through me on scripture, every bit of this is scripture and scripture based;


"Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit given by God to those who obey. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation, so if we do still sin we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. That if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."


( Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:16, Luke 13:3, Acts 2:38, Acts 5:32, Romans 10:10, 1 John 1:9, 2:1 )

Why is it that The Holy Spirit is given little chance to influence peoples lives?

Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

1Co 14:14 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.

every day...even sometimes when driving ( no I dont close my eyes then ! )

Ga 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

as apposed to :

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Amen. so why do we see more fleshly works in the church or even here than spiritual? Do they not have the Spirit of GOD? Do they not know scripture?

the sermon of the day is self help and maybe even law, the cross is no longer mentioned and was been mingled with the message of grace, just listen to Joel osteen for 3 minutes, no word no cross and just stories, His father would would spank him. but he doe's fill an basketball arena with people. Because self help pleases the flesh and the cross is against the flesh.

when I first started to read the holy bible, I understood that Satan has come to destroy me,I cried out to Jesus in prayer,and said to him, I am chained to Satan break the chain lord and free me of all his ways,.inside I am screaming in distress and anguish ?
Why would God show me this?I’m just nobody, I was In prayer, and inthe distant in the darkness on the left I saw a sun in the position of a sunrise,and each time I saw it I am drawn closer to it,and as I am starring at it inside my body, and I felt glorious joy and happiness, and there with God I did not need anything to eat or drink, the only thing that matters is the relationship I have with him nothing else, and this world and everything it has to offer is absolutely nothing compare to what he has in store for us, and I realised I love Jesus more than anybody on earth.

after this vision I could recognise sin, and I could discern the thoughts and intent of my own heart, and others?

and I heard a still small voice and it echo and this voice was in front of me, and said you don't need it, I sat on the bathroom floor in shock, because what I wanted to do with my life was not the will of God,in front of me was 2 doors and I could go through either, the door I went through, I have given up everything to follow Jesus. AMEN

The biggest change I have noticed is my in-ability to do the things I used to, the empty conversations, movies, tv, etc.... I don;t find them entertaining any longer, and that was the beginning, the big change, it has continued on that path and Yah willing will continue. Really detesting sin, not that I never sin, because I do error, but, I detest it, where before I used to not even notice.

Because its not entirely about knowing and quoting scripture, anyone can do that, the Pharisees did it, satan did. What about renewing the mind according to the spirit, anyone can quote scripture - wisdom on how to apply it and its meaning is another thing.

As crossnote mentioned The HOLY SPIRIT Leads and Guides us. The evidence is that one will begin to bear Spiritual FRUIT. One must have an ear to hear HOLY SPIRIT will only speak according to the Biblical Scriptures where as the flesh and the devil will speak for self and their desires. Yes Galatians 5 speaks of the Spiritual Fruit one will have by having the indwelling of the HOLY SPIRIT also Spirit recognizes spirit.

mostly certainly, we will see some drastic changes in ourselves over time,
just to name a few:
tolerance-humility-Godly manners-zeal-responding to Holy conviction-
sweet abounding love-thankfulness.....
