The Jezebel Spirit ~ Do you know one ?

J-Kay I have experienced people with it. I am currently suffering the attack of one such individual. I stood upto this person and boy did I feel the full wrath. Wow. Please keep me in your prayers as it is really difficult to deal with. The person I am dealing with is a woman but I would agree I think it can come on men too as I have experienced it in a man before. Further there is good argument for it being within the pharasees who were opposed to Jesus.

Father God, we come to you in Jesus' name. The name above all names.
The One who crushed the head of the enemy. Our Lord who shed His
Blood for the remission of our sins. I ask You on behalf of your son who
is being tormented by the 'woman' with what appears to be controlled
by the Jezebel spirit.

Lord I ask for him to have wisdom in how to deal with this person and
to know he has Your covering. For whatever reason this son of yours
has been the victim, I ask that You take control of the situation and he
will hear your voice saying....."this is the way walk ye in it."

Lord, we know the spirit can only do what we let it do. This brother
wants to be freed, and through Christ he knows he is. Help him to keep
spiritual control through scripture. Allow him to find that which will set
him free of her clutches. May the Word of God dwell richly in his heart.
I pray for him to be freed of these clutches, in Jesus name. Amen

Thanks for sharing. I've sent it off to a couple friends and I plan to give it a watch later.

You know it is not pleasant and the video itself when it starts
makes one think, oh gosh ... this is evil. But, it really is not
because truth is in it. I was surprised men could have that
spirit, and as I read, the Jezebel can't function without
a body.

How many men or women are living with a 'controlling'
and 'manipulative' spirit. I know I needed to hear it again.
And I believe I will.

As much as I dislike to bring up topics of the 'dark side' of life, the
Lord really would not want us to be ignorant of it. I don't like the
ministry of deliverance, but we do know the Lord Jesus has given
some the spiritual discernment. Obviously He has given you the
wisdom to know what is going on in your life and He is giving you
a way out, and that is by believing in the power of the name of Jesus
Christ. Keep listening to Him, and when you are extremely troubled
go to Him in prayer and scripture and He will honor your desire to be
free. God bless you.

Stephen ??? Are you saying THE TRUTH LIBRARY was your work and
someone is using it on YouTube ? I am so sorry if it was your work and
I did not know it. I would never purposely take someone else and claim it
as my work.

Regarding John Paul Jackson... I too, was once impressed with him, more
based on his ability to teach 'Dreams.' However when I received his book
and tapes, ( yes long time ago )..... The book for me was the most confusing
and I could not follow through it. I never got the tapes listened to, either.

I also did Jezebel Spirit Topic here and it went over like a lead balloon.
If only people could accept the fact the Lord Jesus did want us to know the
counterfeit. It is a different story when we are lifting the spirits over Jesus
Christ. We are saying Jesus Christ is the Victor over them and people can
be made aware if they are sitting under a Pastor and wonder what is not
right about it. Or a Worship leader, a Bible teacher, a Prayer leader. Or
just a CC member.

I always thought Jezebel was a painted lady seducing people. Boy was I

No, it's not my work. I did some digging on Jackson & discovered he's a false prophet & teacher like many on TV. They copy other's works & hire ghost writers to do what they can't. That's why there's a book here & there that seems legitimate.

Have you ever noticed that these frauds, criminals as they are, NEVER COMPETE WITH EACH OTHER? Most of the big timers work united together starring on each other's meetings, & sitting on each other's boards. How do you think the "little guys" rise to the top so quickly? They bankroll their "ministries" & set them up, much like a corporate takeover. Their evil unity testifies to their satanic plans to destroy the church's influence & set up the Antichrist.

We live in a Jezebel-Ahab society, namely because men are raised to have an Ahab mindset-- i.e. to abdicate responsibility in many aspects of life. When men abdicate responsibility, guess who's left to fill the role? God gave the male the responsibility to go first and make decisions that are good for everyone else; but as males have abdicated that role, women have stepped in to fill the gaps. Naturally, rebellion is the outcome when there is no responsibility taken: the Bible says that where there is no vision, the people 'cast off restraint'. The male is to be the 'vision caster' or the person out front who goes first and therefore must have first the ability to see where he's going (vision). When the male doesn't do this, there is no vision, therefore people cast off restraint and rebel. Jezebel comes in here and could never have any power without an Ahab nearby or without men who have an Ahab mindset. I've read many articles on this grade A+ vile and disgusting spirit, but Jonas Clark's book on the subject is an easy read and yields a lot of new insight that helps us to understand why queen Jezebel acted the way she did (the gods working through her). He also explains, among many other things, that his book is namely about the second Jezebel (the one in Revelation) and not the OT Jezebel. Allin, Jonas Clark has written 41 books since 1995, averaging one a year until '98. Red light #1.

He writes several books about Apostolic ministry. Red light #2, & I've yet to really check him out.

I'm not saying anything premature about him, only that he needs to be scrutinized carefully.

I don't want to mention names, but want to share an example of what I
did to day, right or wrong. I have truly enjoyed and appreciated a Greek
Scholar and his teachings are excellent. I have had him on my Facebook
daily, then also come into my email acct.

I don't know what kind of kick back I am going to get for saying this but
I am willing to take it. ( just remember I am just under 5' short & petite ) LOL.

Anyway the Author of many books but one particular devotional with
excellent teaching came up on my NewsFeed on Facebook and announced
he would be guest on a Popular and well known "Prosperity - Name it Claim it"
certain day. I was so disappointed about this I removed him from Facebook,
(my likes.) Did I throw the baby out with the bath water ? I don't know. I
had been feeling for some time he might be leaning more to the emergent
teachings, and this sealed suspicion. I know, believe I do know, I probably
am acting hastily. I just do not like where the Church is heading anyway.
(Yes, I know... I am going to get it again.....) I believe the focus is too
much on materialism, and not enough on Christ and need for salvation. I
am discouraged about where it is headed.

Some good writers/speakers get hired to some very unnacceptable shows/networks. The thing is, such people don't always know what they're getting into.
Then there's the issue of doing it for the sake of getting exposure.
If they've signed a publishing contract, they have to go where they're told.
The bad show may be offering the highest bid to "legitimates" to validate their "ministry".

I totally understand your position though; if I saw someone on TBN, I might give them an immediate 3 strikes, too.

Stephen, I agree. I've been to Jonas Clark's church in Hallandale Beach, FL twice. I'll just say that the Bible's standard for leaders is... extremely high. I posted Jer. 6:13-14 and Jer. 8:10-11 in a thread I started earlier today. Those passages say that it was and is common that most ministers suffer from greed, covetousness, and lying. With so much negativity and so many things wrong, I try to balance with the positive things. I liked the truths you can glean from John Paul Jackson's 'Needless Casualties of War'. But every minister, even the ones we like and the ones who preach the truth, needs to be scrutinized, because there's only one whole truth and if a minister doesn't live it everyday, then there's reason to scrutinize further.

JK, I agree: I don't care for anything negative or dark either, but we're supposed to know things like these so we'll be wise to the fact that we have an enemy who schemes 24/7 to harm us, etc.

Regarding Jezebel, I'd definitely like to return to this thread sometime.
