The Waldenses: Massacre at Castelluzzo | Episode 43 | Lineage

Casteluzzo towers over the valley and town of Torre Pelice as a constant reminder of the persecution that the Waldenses have been through. The 17th century would see probably their worst episode with the massacre at Mount Casteluzzo particularly gruesome. They made the ultimate sacrifice for the cause of truth.

Today the Methodist church spans the globe, yet its birth was unintentional and its roots go back to a Bible study group at Oxford University. However some would say its roots go back even further, to the Wesley brothers’ godly upbringing in Epworth, England.

Is the Reformation Over? | Episode 48 | Lineage

The reformation was not a singular event or fixed date, but rather a progression of ideas and beliefs that once circulated would become unstoppable. Who were the key players and what would the future hold?

The faith and belief of groups such as these stood in conflict with the claims from Rome , that they were the mother church, and so they ( Rome ) sought to either convert by force or destroy them.

Can Peace be attain through Compromise ???

I hope this has open our eyes , through a historic view of events , of those that were persecuted in time past for there Faith in Jesus Christ.

Thanks to Robo & CC Team for letting it be Re-uploaded Blessings

Are you a Missionary? | Iona | Deleted Scene | Lineage

How far would you go to serve God? Watch one of our exclusive deleted scenes from Episode 2 from Iona, Scotland. The Students of Iona would have to travel extensively to attend the training school but also to leave Iona and serve in a far away location.

[ Music Playing Intro ]

For us to get to Iona today , we have to come to a town called Alban , it's about three hours north of Glasgow , which is about seven hours north of London. From Alban you have to take a ferry to the Isle of Mull you drive one hour across the Isle of Mull and then you have to take another ferry to get to Iona. It takes at least minimum one day if not two just to arrive here.

On the journey up here my mind goes back to the missionaries , who would go out from here. If it took us two days to get here , how long would it have taken them in the 500 and 600 and 700 AD .To leave from this island and then spread out around Scotland , England , Wales, and then go across to Europe as missionaries. They spent a long time , long journeys traveling across as missionaries throughtout the British Isles and throughout Europe because they believed fervently in The Gospel which they had learned here in this mission training institute.

God calling us to day as well , to be missionaries for him . It may even be just crossing the road as speaking to a neighbor , it may be talking to someone at the university , it may be going to a far away country. But where ever God is calling you today, may you take up that call and be a missionary for Him.

[ Ending Music ]

Shalom
