I am giving you God's effectual, powerful, loving plan of salvation that I have taken from the simple teaching in the Bible. Giving example from the Bible how Gods saves His "elect". I am afraid, most of you will only choke on this good meat of the word. Please ,just take your time and read and reread a passage until you get the meaning. Then relate each passage on the same topic and work them together so they don't contradict but compliment each other. Love to all, Hoffco

To interpret anyone's speech, we must know the meanings of the words they use. When we know the meanings of the author's words, then we can repeat, in our own words, what the author has said, truthfully. I wish to give you a simple, practical, interpretive outline of Romans 1-8.
Romans 1:1-17 The salvation of God's elect: A new, righteous nature is IMPARTED to those God has eternally loved,,,,,, elected, and CALLS to Himself. God gives a believing heart to all of His chosen ones.....................................................
Romans 1:18-32 Judgement to all the lost, Jews and Gentiles................................................................................
Romans 2:1-21 Damnation to all the immoral Jews and Gentiles. And salvation to all the moral, godly, Jews and Gentiles.
Romans 3:1-20 Damnation to all sinners, Jews and Gentiles..................................................................................
Romans 3:21-5:18 Righteousness IMPUTED to all true believers: Christ perfect righteousness, our new record in Heaven.
Romans 5:19-8:39 Salvation, applied, to all the elect of God, Jews and Gentiles. The new birth and the victorious Christian life made clear......................................................................................................................................

Love to all, Hoffco, Pastor Doug

Read and reread the first 8 chs of Romans and see how my outline fits perfectly Paul's order of doctrines. Compare Romans with Galatians and see how Paul has the same order of doctrine. New birth, Justification by faith. and holy living to gain eternal life; Same as Romans. Paul always taught Sanctification before Justification. 2Thes.2:13. so did Peter, 2Peter 1:2-3. This is proving what I say to be true. There is no one who knows and teaches the POWERFUL EFFECTUAL CALL of the Gospel. Rom.1:1-17 is God's new birth to HIS chosen ones. Even John MacArthur , who describes God's act of new birth very well, denies it by saying, salvation is by faith alone.

Sanctification begun, started, by God, is the first work of God in salvation applied to a sinner. As Paul talks of Justification by grace, faith and works, ch.2 and 3:20-5:18; He says in 4:17 "God, who gives LIFE to the DEAD and CALLS those things which do NOT exist as thought they did." Abram had no heart for God until God make him alive and gave him a new heart, (born of God), Abram could NOT call on God for salvation with out God moving ,drawing him to faith , then the new birth was implanted into Abram's heart and he turn from his pagan idols. The order in salvation is eternal LOVE, ELECTION, CALLING, forgiveness, Heaven's perfection. :Rom.8:28-30. The part we play is: seeking. calling, repenting, trusting and obeying. The Fundamental Bible believers of today are following a CULT of "faith alone".

Our study of Romans today went into Eph.2:1-10 the salvation by Grace thru Faith unto Good works. Asking the question "how does Grace relate to Faith?" Grace makes the dead to God, sinner, alive to God , gives spiritual live to the spiritually dead sinner. In creation terns, " Which came first? The chicken or the egg?" ans. the chicken.! Therefore as the passage says ,Sinners are dead, and only grace(power and love) can make them alive. This is why the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ must be the "power of unto salvation to all who believe" Rom.1;16. Faith "is the gift of God" not of works" Because we are "the workmanship of God, unto good works". So, faith and good works are the gifts of Grace. Love to all, Hoffco

It is very sad that no one knows the real truth of the Bible today. I would challenge anyone ,under the sun/SON, to find a flaw with my introduction and interpretive out line of the first 8 chapters of
Romans. Just, forget what Chuck Swindol or Warren Wersbie says and just follow PAUL the APOSTLE. love to all, Hoffco

It's essential to understand Adam as a race in order to properly understand
the section in Romans that begins with 5:12 and extends down to 5:21.

In a nutshell:

1• There are two distinct human races: the Adam race and the Christ race.

2• Adam's imperfect obedience brought condemnation and death to the
Adam race; whereas Christ's perfect obedience brought acquittal and
immortality to the Christ race.

That's a very small nutshell; but enough for a kick start.

Bottom line: the Christ race is the cat's meow. It's the race to which you
want to belong in order to be safe from the wrath of God.

To WebersHome, I wrote a response to you weeks ago, but it got lost. Your analogy of two races is very miss leading, and wrong.!! The whole, one, human race was involved with Adam and with Christ. A better interpretation is to see the "ALL" and the "MANY" as meaning: the potential(ALL) and the actual,(MANY). Jesus provided salvation for ALL;
But, on the other hand, Jesus GIVES, salvation to the MANY only. There is a general atonement and there is a particular, specific ,atonement in the death of Christ. This is the full teaching of the bible: The ransom is for all,(general) and the ransom is for only the Many, (the elect only). see, Mt.20:28 and 1Tim.2:6. Love to all, Hoffco

It is very hard to find anyone today that knows how to study the Bible in context, as God wrote it. Every pastor just teach their own church doctrine, right or wrong, and most of it is wrong. No one wants to listen to God only. !! WebersHome, is a perfect example how people can come up with such bizarre interpretations, totally unbiblical. There is only ONE human race. The Reform interpretation is almost as bad; The human race is seen "in Adam" or "in Christ". BAD, because 1Cor 15:22 "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive." As we all know, that only the "many" of the "all" "in Adam" are raised to damnation and only a few "many" of the "all" "in Christ" are raised to eternal life. As Paul says, " But each in his own order" 1Cor15:23. From God's words in Gen. 3:21 "Also for Adam and his wife the LORD God made tunics of skin, and clothed them." This tells us that God save Adam and Eve, they are NOT "in Adam" but "in Christ" The "all" and the "many" in Rom.5 means, "all" are atoned for, but only the :many will be saved; Salvation is potentially for "all", but actually, only for the "many", those chosen "in Christ" before birth.
