When you study out the matter fully, you will arrive at the same conclusion from Scripture. He cannot sit in the temple of God calling himself God unless he has full access as a Jew. And there are other indicators also in Daniel.
So you are stating that he would enter the inner sanctuary....is this explicitly stated in scripture? I have not read it or missed it?

Well I find this confusing, how will they find the priests for the inner sanctuary, it is my understanding that all the temple records have been destroyed, how can they verify the lineage?

JESUS SAID
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand... (Mt 24:15)

DANIEL SAID
And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. (Dan 11:31)

The inner sanctuary consists of (1) the holy place and (2) the holy of holies (the holiest place). The Abomination of Desolation (the image of the Antichrist see Rev 13) will stand in the holy place as Jesus and Daniel prophesied.

I do not know If this verse say antichrist from assyria
There are other passages which point to the Antichrist as the Assyrian. We know from Revelation 13 that God will allow him to have power and control over all the inhabitants of the world but only for 3 1/2 years (42 months). So this passage would be relevant from Isaiah 14:24-26:

24 The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:
25 That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders.
26
This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations.

Again we do not need to be dogmatic about this, but the book of Daniel makes it clear that this Jew will blaspheme the God of his fathers. And Paul tells us in 2 Thessalonians that he will sit in the temple of God and call himself God. To sit there means to have access to the temple as a Jew.

Revelation 13:18(the man of sins name is spelled using Greek letters/alphabet),he's born and named in a place that uses Greek(not his race, but his nationality and language group).
John talk about antichrist went out from us at verse 19, i think, bible give us some information about who is antichrist from some verse and we have to put It together as the specification

1 John 2

18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

It is today among many when speaking of the son of perdition, the beast ect. to refer to him as the "antichrist" and so this is used as an type of synonym of the same by us in our day without considering something about the date it was written.

In Revelation 17:7 the angel says to John that he would explain the beast and woman to John as if he(John) did not understand it at that time. So in 1 John(the Scripture you gave) and his other Epistle where he mentions the term "antichrist" John speaks of the antichrist as if he fully understands this at the time 1 john and his other epistles were written.

So if he does not understand this in Revelation,,,but does understand it in his epistles then Revelation where it was explained to him would have to have been written before his epistle(1 John) if not John goes from understanding the antichrist to not understanding it and having it explained in Revelation 17:7. Or else the term "antichrist" and the son of perdition, beast are not the same things at all but instead are improperly spoken of as the same by us today.

If I understand correctly, you do not believe the antichrist is the beast in the rev 13, am I correct?

Jackson, I dont believe in this or that or trying to specify who the antichrist is, but just pointing out that whoever denies Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, is an anti-christ...there are many its not just ONE person.

As it says in scripture. People seem to conflate scripture a lot and take it out of context.
