The rule of thumb in Bible interpretation is every scripture is to interpreted LITERALLY unless there's no literal way to do it.
So when the Bible says enphatically there's gonna be a thousand year reign of Christ with the saints, then there is.

It's sad when everone has their own way of interpreting scripture. It destroys unity in the body.

My maturing in Christ was more about unlearning in the beginning than learning. The Holy Spirit had to debrainwash me of denominational theology before teaching me anything.

It takes prayer & keeping your nose in The Book, not running to conferences & listening to high-priced preachers.

Its Literal alright, just a 1,000 hills, not 999 or 1,001 :giggle:

Psalm 50:10KJV
10 For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.

70 literal weeks, not 490 years right :giggle:

Daniel 9:24KJV
24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

lol ...aaand verse 13-18?

Yeah, I think you finally saw it now.
The Day Of The Lord, The End!

Zechariah 14:1KJV
Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

2 Peter 3:10KJV
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Zechariah 14:12KJV
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

The Second Coming, The End!

Zechariah 14:5KJV
5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

1 Thessalonians 3:13KJV
13 To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

The "Day Of The Lord" Is A Long Time By Human Standards?

We See The Day Of The Lord Below, Does That Fire Burning The Heavens And Earth Take Months, Years, Decades?

2 Peter 3:10KJV

I agree. I meant by only human reasoning people say,

Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

Peter speaks of how judgement fell on people in the past and to lesser degrees his wrath fell on people,

Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, Joel 1:15

With respect, it hasn't just yet.

John 10:16
I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them in as well, and they will listen to My voice. Then there will be one flock and one shepherd.

^ This is what's been happening for 2000 years in fulfillment of Matthew 28:19-20. The Messiah has been gathering His sheep from other (gentile) folds into one flock to reestablish His kingdom on earth ("thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth..."). Those of the gentiles who hear His voice are these sheep. Romans 11 explains this; this is time for the fullness of the gentiles to come into the fold.

Once the full number comes in the rest of the plan for "full" Israel (Jew & Gentile) continues with the resurrection/transformation & gathering. The apostles didn't understand this at first...

Acts 1:6-8
When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7 Jesus replied, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by His own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth

The Almighty took the Levites as His portion from among the tribes of Israel to be His priests TO those tribes. So likewise, the Messiah gathers His portion from among the nations of the world to be His priests TO those nations. The gathering of the priests comes first. They will not truly minister to the nations until the following occurs within all of Israel (Jew & Gentile)...

Jeremiah 31:33-34
33 “But this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the LORD. I will put My law in their minds and inscribe it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they will be My people.

34 No longer will each man teach his neighbor or his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquities and will remember their sins no more.”

^Proof: There will no longer be necessary schools of bible teachers or a multitude of denominations or interpretations to contend with, and deception will be prevented (because satan will be bound). All of Israel will know the Almighty, through and through, perfectly, in order to teach others. This event hasn't happened yet because Israel hasn't be reassembled, as is prophesied here...

Ezekiel 37:13-14
13 And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves, And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord.

^The 1st resurrection/transformation event must happen first, followed by the regathering of true, complete, Israel (Jew & Gentile) back to the land...

Ezekiel 37:21
21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

^This passage is completely true...but it was said prior to satan falling. As Revelation 12 explains, when the Son ascended to the throne in heaven (which already happened in Acts 1; 1st century), war broke out, and then satan fell having great wrath knowing his time is short.

And now today, with over 2000 differing denominations claiming to have a pure truth, chasing 2000 years of deadly persecution by the Catholic church (as so-called representatives of God), sprinkled with a profuse amount of mistranslation - all of this confusion the result of satan - how can a person be sure the gospel of Christ is the truth these days? satan deceives the whole world.

This is why he must be imprisoned first so that pure truth can be preached without leaven. Those who DO hear the truth now do so because they specifically are CALLED to be priests. Until all priests are called and transformed/resurrected, the world is left to its own devices by God Himself. This is still step 1.

Romans 2:18-21 [brackets mine]
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. [i.e. the transformation]

19 For the earnest expectation of the creature [i.e. the creation; the earth] waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

20 For the creature [i.e. the creation; the earth] was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

21 Because the creature [i.e. the creation; the earth] itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

^When they manifest (upon transformation into Glory), the children of the living God will deliver the world from its bondage to corruption. His first step is to manifest them, which - again - is the transformation/resurrection event. Notice Paul is preaching this so he more than anyone would know. Each achieves life in their own order: Christ, the firstfruits, then those at His coming, then the end when the world is delivered...1 Corinthians 15:23. The Millennium Reign.

Brother, there is an order to all of it. I have no problem with the passages you've referenced, but there is an order. For instance, verse 4 to verse 14 is the Messiah's entire answer to the disciples' question in summary form.

"Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?"

1) Deception (horseman 1)
2) Rumor of wars (horseman 2)
3) Famines (horseman 3)
4) Diseases (horseman 4)
5) Earthquakes & Martyrdom of followers (5th seal)
6) Love grows cold
7) False prophets
9) And then this gospel shall be preached
10) And then the end comes when you, therefore, see the abomination of desolation

Notice that the preaching of the gospel comes at least after the first 5 seals are broken. I'm not disagreeing that this is happening now (in fact, I believe many of the seals have been broken already), I'm just noting the order of events to show that understanding the order in the Almighty's overall plan is important.

Blessings.
You're saying people can't be sure of the truth anymore. Forget it. You're off the path of what Jesus taught.

The Day Of The Lord, The End!

Zechariah 14:1KJV

2 Peter 3:10KJV
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

1 Thessalonians 3:13KJV

Zech.14 is about Christ's 1st coming. It's about how Jesus defeated all his enemies and how we also fight, not against fleah and blood.

After our Lord returns, there won't be any who won't go to worship him.

I Strongly Disagree

Zechariah Chapter 14 is about the future second coming, final judgement by fire, and the New Heaven, Earth, Jerusalem

The overwhelming majority do disagree with how I see the text, but our Lord isn't returning to wage war. The war is raging now. The war is over when Jesus returns. It's simply judgement day.

Are You Preterist In Your Eschatology, 70AD Fulfillment Jerusalem?

It appears you dont believing in future?

1. (Man of sin/antichrist)?

2. (Time of great tribulation)?

3. (Rev Chap 11, Two Literal Prophets Returned)?

4. (Literal Plagues) upon this world?

5. (Battle Of Armageddon)?

I don't know what preterist is. I have no problem with seeing things in a future sense, but far more importantly than "when" things happen is "what" is happening. If we break the 5 things you listed down to their least common denominator, it's easy to see that to some degree, those things have existed and will continue until the return of Christ.

You follow the reformed (Historicist) eschatology?

The Papacy has been the Antichrist figure throughout history, seeing continual tribulation?

How do you account for Rev 11 the two Witnesses?

How do you account for the vial plagues Rev 16?

You do indeed mirror my thoughts. I don't consider myself a part of any denomination. I'm a biblicist. That's good enough for me when I go before the Lord and seek Him out for His truth to replace anything I think that I know.

You follow the reformed (Historicist) eschatology?
I don't know what that is. I went to a Baptist church for a while but had questions that weren't answered sensibly. I don't go to church anymore. I follow our Lord and pray to him for understanding.

The Papacy has been the Antichrist figure throughout history, seeing continual tribulation?
I'm sure antichrist is a manifestation of the devil. He puts himself in the place of God for evil purposes, beginning with Adam and Eve, Except for the amount of people who are deceived at any particular time, there is no difference.

He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. Jn.8:44

How do you account for Rev 11 the two Witnesses?
They are the manifestation of Christ and therefore his Father on earth,

It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me. Jn.8:17-18

....as though God did beseech you by us....in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. 2Cor.5:20

Literal fire didn't come from Jesus's mouth or ours, but Jesus said,

He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. Jn.12:48

And so,

if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. Rev.11:5

Of course God's witness is for our welfare and when we saw how Christ rose from the dead, we who were once enemies of God repented and gave glory to him.

How do you account for the vial plagues Rev 16?
The same way I account for the purpose of any disaster on earth. So that those who weren't killed would reconsider,[/QUOTE]

We are running with patience. Affect the people who God brings into your sphere now, because he's not sending us out to do it later,

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. Mt.24:14
