Personally black race love to boast about this topic arrogantly! The Jews in Israel are of course brown skin. Many races were made slaves. The slaves brought in a boat were Africans not Israelite's to AMERICA. Do not be deceived. The bible says "He has hair of wool and feet of bronze." Symbolically this would mean wool is like hair of sheep which looks like black peoples hair, and feet of bronze means..well whats the color of bronze? brown or black? Jews were brought to Egypt as slaves and Israel and Egypt are close to Africa, therefore personally I believe Jesus was not of white color, blonde hair and blue eyes like a Baywatch supermodel! The Jews were scattered also and therefore the Jewish race is very diverse perhaps mixed with all other races in the world! His eyes are describes as flame. My guess, and this is my opinion, is that His eyes might be blue. Fire sounds like sapphire, which is blue, which is how they then described the look of His eyes(like a fire). One lady told me it's the way His eyes appeared like in a judgement frown with His eyebrows! Or in other words, He looks upset. Another theory I have is that His eyes could be a color of orange, yellow, brown maybe like the colors of flame or hazel. Who knows!! Regardless, the color of Jesus is .......LOVE!

Why are you so mad and upset if blacks say Jesus was black? if he was, which he WAS, why does it get you upset? Do you see me getting me getting mad at white people because they made the image of Jesus white around the world? nope. Also according to prophecies the blacks that came to America seem to be the Jews, Deuteronomy 28:68 goes onto validate that. No other people came into slavery with ships and sold unto other people but them. Also people call black people that is VERY light black, who ever it was that decided to call a people a race based on color is a complete fool. The Jews came in many shades of brown, also to validate that it was black Jews who went into the slave ships lets look at OTHER facts besides the bible since you all, all of a sudden want to disclaim it.

"As predicted by Jesus, in this war Jerusalem was overthrown, the Temple was destroyed and the Black Hebrews were scattered. (Mat. 24:15-21, Luke 21: 5,6, 20-24) The loss of life was appalling. So many Hebrews were slain that the whole lake of Galilee was red with blood and covered with corpses. The noted historian, Josephus estimated that one million one hundred thousand perished in the siege of Jerusalem alone, reports Hugh Schonfield in his book The Passover Plot p.192-195, which describes this massive genocide.

* Seeking to escape destruction, millions of original Black Biblical Jews fled into AFRICA!

Centuries later, their descendants were captured and sold into slavery in the Americas! Ella Hughley's remarkable booklet The Truth About Black Biblical Hebrew-Israelites exposes and summarizes important details of this suppressed subject. She writes "Many of the Israelites... who managed to escape their persecutors during the Roman-Jewish War subsequently migrated to West Africa, and 16,000 years later their descendants were captured and brought to America in chains by cruel slave-traders." The people in Israel today are known as Kharzars. Thanks for the input and sharing your thoughts my fellow bible student :)

Also my fellow bible friend, if you want to know how Jesus looked just look at his fellow Israelite brothers. Moses and Paul was mistaken for Egyptian, that should really clear things up for you. Thanks for sharing your thoughts concerning the bible. :)

Also MANY Jews fled into Puerto Rico, I am not trying to be racist. But, why do you think blacks and Puerto Ricans are in the same neighborhoods most of the times? they are both Jews. The Jews came in many shades of brown from dark to very light, I saw you were from Puerto Rico so I just thought I should say. But all people can make it to heaven as in all nations, but seeing how the nations do not respect other nations mainly one nation in particular ISRAEL.I have high doubts. Thanks for the input my friend!

I'm not mad. I don't know where you got the impression of "mad". The ones that are mad are the ones that consistently feeling that another white complected person makes opinion about the color of Jesus skin , they feel they are being racist. A lot of black..wait...African black jews or whatever, are not really Jews but arrogant and full of wrath and hatred towards all people that are not of brown or black color. But I'm not mad. See, I come from the blood line of Taino Indians and Africans...but just because I'm white complected, I'm an outcast. So basically what I'm saying is, it's more about a FIT IN ordeal or a COOL factor to be black then the spiritual or Godly aspect of it.not to mention now in and these days they(black and or brown) blasphemy the Lord God like other religions and faith, and are just as corrupt as any other race out there. Forgive me if you got the IMPRESSION of being mad.....more power to the blacks rather Jew or not, for they are truly loved by God!!! Which is the point here, ain't it?!

Jesus is our LORD and Savior. everything else is just an example of:

Titus 3

Graces of the Heirs of Grace

1 Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work, 2 to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men. 3 For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. 4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, 5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.

Avoid Dissension

9 But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless. 10 Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition, 11 knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned.

*i like randomly inserting scripture, it nice to read it every once in a while in a Bible discussion forum*

I was reading something online about Jesus' physical appearance and it stated that he looked like your average Joe. His looks did not stand out, and probably stood about 5'4. He most likely had dark, short hair and his skin was weathered....thought that was interesting.

Jesus would have be brown-skinned a the semitic peoples are.
He would not have been white, as the Ashkenazim are - they are converts to Talmudism in 700SD.

The Jewish Religion: Its Influence Today
by Elizabeth Dilling

Elizabeth Dilling was a widely known critic of Judaism prior World War II until her death in 1967. In writing Jewish Religion, Ms. Dilling chose her research materials with care. Her primary source, the Soncino Talmud, was produced by the finest scholars of Judaism. The Rodkinson Talmud was a monumental work endorsed by Rabbi I. M. Wise, a pioneer of Reform Judaism. Rabbi Dr. Louis Finkelstein, author of The Pharisees: The Sociological Background of Their Faith, became president of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America shortly after his book was published, where he was remained for more than 30 years.

Thus, Ms. Dilling's research spanned the best that Conservative, Orthodox, and Reform Judaism had to offer in the English language. She also drew from the 12-volume Jewish Encyclopedia, which, though a century old, still stands as a monument to Jewish mainstream scholarship; the 10-volume Universal Jewish Encyclopedia from the early 1940's; US Government State Department Records, The American Hebrew periodical, and other publications.

The Babylonian Talmud
edited by Rabbi Dr. Isidore Epstein
of Jews’ College, London

More than fifteen years in the making, more than 5 1/2 million words, this monumental task of scholarship called on the best brains in Judaism and won the approval of the world's top rabbis. Yet few Christians today even know it exists, and you will probably not find it in your local public library. The Come and Hear™ hypertext version, currently on line at this web site, represents approximately 1431 folios (produced as accurately as possible). We hope this presentation will provide the necessary context for understanding ancient and modern rabbinical teachings. We hope the larger context will also enable you to evaluate how fairly various commentators interpret the text.

Passages censored in previous editions of the Talmud were restored, and the translators amplified the text with extensive footnotes that form a running commentary. The publication was completed as a 35-volume set in 1952, and republished in 18 volumes in 1961. Each tractate was accompanied by a glossary, a table of abbreviations, an index of Biblical references, and a general subject index. In 1952, Soncino published a comprehensive Index volume collating the indices from all tractates, and included an index to the statements of each of the Sages. The Jew's College/Soncino English translation of the Babylonian Talmud has remained the gold standard of English Talmuds for six decades.

The Talmud: Scalpel that Bleeds the Mideast
Rev. Ted Pike

Pharisees Bring Racism to Israel
Racism did not enter Judaism until the generation of scribes and Pharisees who migrated from Babylon several centuries before Christ; they infused Jewish religion and culture with the idea that Gentiles are morally inferior and polluting on the basis of race. The Old Testament makes no such claim, warning only against the influence of Gentile idolatry on the Hebrews. The Pharisees introduced a racial superiority into Judaism unheard of in the Old Testament.

As a result, Jews in Christ’s time were deeply racist, convinced of their intrinsic superiority to the Gentile “dogs.?1 The good Jew did not even talk to a Samaritan.2 If a Gentile were beaten, robbed and thrown into a ditch, a godly Jew, fearful of becoming “unclean,? passed by on the other side of the road.3
