We are such fortunate people indeed. When I look back at all the things I have worried about this week, I am ashamed. My Heavenly Father loves me and will take care of me through thick and thin.

Nice thread, @jackrosie !:)

Amen bro....also may I say..God brought me to this site for a reason..I have learnt a lot about myself over these past few months.
God has also given me much more maturity in Him...I never realised how immature I was....but he remained faithful...I had that wonderful breakthrough from God.

For me bro...,,we have to want to change from the heart..he knows if we are being sincere or not.

Do you agree ?...xx

.I just wish I could have known him in person.....
James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

It can get sweeter and sweeter as the days go by if we just keep seeking a closer walk! :)

That is so true!!. It can get sweeter and sweeter...love those words....you are such a gentleman....
I came from a very abusive background....I could never have related to your kindness.....at one time....because I never really knew it....my love was abuse.

But since being saved 28 yrs ago.....God has shown me his Love, also how to Love others through the Holy Spirit..he taught me how to love my son.

He has brought me to a place of being able to receive love and kindness.

So I can now relate to your kindness Oyster....because your kindness comes from God and I recognise it greatly in you....
@eternally-gratefull ...he is another brother who I adore and can relate too....as the Lord shines out of him also!.

Nope. I am from the eastern US, but please don't hold that against me. We are all headed for a much better place. Soon and very soon.

Hebrews
11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of [them], and embraced [them], and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
11:14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
11:15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that [country] from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
11:16 But now they desire a better [country], that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

Yes, Amen!!!!

He has all power in heaven and on earth; Matthew 28:18-20.

By his power the world consists; Colossians 1:15-17

By his power we are able to walk worthy of the LORD, and we do so because he has forgiven our sins: Colossians 1:9-14

And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy;
giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son,
in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

When church service was around, before covid virus struck.

I was in church just happened to catch the eye of a believer....be both looked at each other.....I believe the Holy Spirit said good morning to me through him......you just know that you know when he does that..

It’s an experience you never forget....same as a vision I had...it’s coming to pass soon...what ever God places in a believers heart can never ever be erased.

That is the power of God!

A Bible phrase comes to mind:

".... and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, ...And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, ..."

The COVID-19 SCAM was meant to shut down churches and allow anarchists to take control of the narrative. And that is exactly what has happened.

But all churches should defy this nonsense (which continues after seven months of Wuhan virus being released and the lock downs having proved to be useless). Churches should continue to meet as usual, and challenge all the nonsense about social distancing, masks, etc. etc. Since this thread is about the power of Christ, that power should now be displayed in standing up for obeying God rather than man.

Wow....
Whatever it takes God, you can bring us to an end of ourselves and the start of you.

I thank God for what I had been through as a child and into adulthood......receiving God’s Love was worth the wait.....through his time..he showed me what love was.....

That was why I was so overwhelmed when he saved me.....his Love was over flowing in my heart......I was on cloud nine for yrs.

Now I have matured much more in the Lord...he keeps me in line and I love it.....because after all...he is my Father,xx

Dude... that is a clip from the second most scary dangerous verse in the bible for believers.
But I guess its true, once you know like that...

Overwhelming love! Yeah that sounds about right.

Over and Over and Over again it is always the same lesson.
Faith in Love and Obedience.
From Faith to Faith.
In our obedience to faith we know him.
We taste and see.

Do you believe?
Do you believe in the Love of God?
Enough to let him do whatever he pleases?
Enough to submit to Him in all things?
Do you believe in his Love?
How much?
How far?
How deep?

40 Years later and I am still learning lessons of Faith in the Love of God for me.
Of the obedience of faith and trust in His power.
Knowing the depth of that love in the depths of the darkness of my own heart, that has broken the chains of my slavery to sin.

Yes ... God works within us as He begins the process of conforming us to the image of His son. And Christ in us brings forth fruit in our lives that we can then hold out to others and, hopefully, they want more and turn to the Lord Jesus Christ as well ... because they see something in our lives that they want in their own lives.

I believe we can know Him more intimately than some of those who saw Him when He walked this earth because He is inside of us ... Christ in you, the hope of glory (Col 1:27)

Here is a song by Kari Jobe ... "Forever". At the 6:45 minute mark, there is a man who speaks some very powerful words about the majesty and the incomprehensible greatness of God.
