how many times in the ministry of Jesus do we here Him rebuke someone for obeying the law? or tell someone they are not under the law? none that i remember. i do remember Jesus warning those that taught against the law.
and today people teach against the law more than ever.

Thank God we know exactly what those commandments are in the New Covenant. Obeying these brings the life of Christ in us to manifest in and through us.

1 John 3:23 (NASB)
[SUP]23 [/SUP] This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us.

It is not the 613 commandments in the Law of Moses.

So you keep the Five Commandments? Because you keep ignoring the hard ones. The ones about trusting God.

And I've seen your advice on how to honor parents -- "You might spend as little time with him as possible until he changes his ways." Is that in the fine print for honoring parents?
Don’t make this harder than you need to. It’s challenging enough already.

First, if your parents were evil people who were making your life miserable, you are still bound to honor them, but you would probably want to spend as little time as possible with them, unless you had a plan to lead them to repentance.

Jesus was asked, “What shall I do to inherit eternal life?” Jesus listed five commandments, not a thousand. There are more than five commandments, but not a lot more.

When we sin, we get ourselves in trouble, true, but when we repent of our sin, we are forgiven. I have repented of those things that I know are sin, such as looking lustfully at women.

Under the Law you must be perfect. You confess you are not perfect. You fail.

I believe the commandments tell us how to love others as ourselves. When we are
content with what we have, we do not covet the lives or possessions of others, nor
do we bear false witness against others, or cheat them, or murder them etc.

It is not the 613 commandments in the Law of Moses.
1 Yahanan /John 2:3-7, “And by this we know that we know Him, if we guard His commands. The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever guards His Word, truly the love of Yah has been perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. The one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked. Beloved, I write no fresh command to you, but an old command which you have had from the beginning. The old command is the Word which you heard from the beginning.”

Matt 7:12, "So then, whatever you desire that others would do to and for you, even so do also to and for them, for this is (sums up) the Law and the Prophets."

Mattithyah 22:37-40, "Yahshua said to him: You must love YHWH your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."

Romans 13:9-10, "For the commandments: You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not bring false testimony, You shall not covet, and all other commandments are summed up in these Laws; namely: You must love your neighbor as yourself. Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the Law."

Matt 5:18, "For truly I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh--the smallest of the letters--will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Revelation 21:1-2, "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no more sea. And I, Yahanan, saw the holy city, YHWH Shammah, coming down from YHWH out of heaven, prepared as brides adorned for their husbands. And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying: Behold, the tabernacle of YHWH is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and YHWH Himself will be with them, and be their Father.”

He forgave you before you repented. That doesn't change the unrelenting demand of the Law for perfection.
The Lord wants us to be perfect. Is it so difficult to obey a handful of commandments?

I cant quantify YHWH, however I would assume no, He is always complete/perfect.

Are you debating me or the Scripture I posted? Not a single word of mine, just Scripture...

Apparently so. As you have already confessed.
It is challenging sometimes but it isn't impossible. Otherwise the Lord wouldn't have said this:

You, therefore, must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. Matt 5:48 RSV
