If you read my OP, you will notice that I was talking about drinking out of the well that the Lord has provided for us, just as He provided for the woman of the well.

In my original OP, I asked whether you or anyone else have experienced what Jesus was saying to the woman of the well. My question to you is based on reality, not just talking about God, but meeting Him by His Spirit. I posted the following verse,

John 4:14 (NASB 2020) "But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never be thirsty; but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life.”

Have you ever asked the Lord to satisfy the deep hunger we all have deep inside our inner beings to know why we are here, and why God made you? The water He promised to the woman, He promises to all of us so that we can truly experience our salvation in ways you have never dreamed of before.

John 7:37–38 (NASB 2020) "Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. 38 The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’ ”

If you are thirsty to know God, not about Him, but to know Him for yourself, these two scriptures wait for you to ask the Lord to reveal Himself by giving you to drink deeply of His Spirit.

The Bible was not meant for us to read it and be satisfied with that. The word of God has been given to us so that we too can live holy lives and experience the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living (Ps.27:13).

Thanks for your question. I think when we are saved, we start to realize that God has provided for us in every way necessary, especially in terms of our eternal salvation, so that we are not lacking any more but have all we need (thanks to God with his provision of his son Jesus, our advocate and intercessor). Psalm 23 puts it this way: "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want." If you find yourself no longer as stressed about how to satisfy needs in your life, but are trusting in him as provider and personal savior and also as the one who is in charge of things, I think you would then be closer to or even exemplifying the idea of John 4:14-15.
We read about salvation as a free gift from God for all who will come to him: "Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price." The waters are in one sense the word of God; come to the word of God and God will receive you and will not charge you a price for it. If you don't have a penny even, all the better. God is your savior and he will provide. He will then make it his business to take care of you. There are times when we may feel God's spirit moving strongly inside us, and we can ask God for this if we feel it lacking, but probably even the apostle Paul didn't always feel the spirit moving inside him in a strong way. A relationship might be a better way to put it. If we are talking with the Lord, and trusting in him for our lives, we are not 'thirsting' for salvation like we were before being saved. Also, if we abide in him, ask what you will and don't be surprised if it is answered. The well of water inside the believer might be a parable phrase for the word of God being inside of us as much as any strong spiritual experience. But, of course, God does move inside believers by his spirit.

He also longs to speak to us through His Written Word. He reveals Himself to us through His Word as well. If He reveals Himself to you through dreams and visions, that is ok too.

You are skirting the discussion and refuse to deal with my questions. It seems to me that you are limited to the Bible while God is infinitely bigger than what He has revealed in His word. I have been studying the scriptures for 38 years, have experienced the Baptism of the Spirit, have heard His voice many times (but not all the time), and have had prophetic dreams that are more than amazing, yet I continue to read and study God's word. Lastly, I drink deeply out of the Spirit of God and study hard God's word.

Most believers limit the Lord because to them going to church and the Bible is enough, but after that, they think it's voodoo to hear God speak to us, yet we hear the devil speak to us on a regular basis, but we think is just our thoughts. Jesus said that eternal life is knowing the Father and the Son, not about Him, but knowing Him intimately and personally (Jn 17:3).

It seems to me that you have been playing with religion, at least this is what it looks like. Prove me wrong. 😇
