Lets see,the AC kills ALL REFUSING THE MARK.

HHMMMMM,lets do the math.

All with no mark dying, leaves how many alive???

But post trib rapture indoctrinates tell us millions of these headless fellows "endure to the end"
The phrase "endure unto the end" in Matthew 24:13 and Mark 13:13 is referring to 'the end of life', not 'the end of time'.

These verses are talking about past martyrs.

Humm........... Do you suppose, just possibly, that same phraseology ("appearing in the clouds", or, "riding on the clouds") happens to show up anywhere else in the Scriptures?
Every place in scripture that talks about Jesus "coming in / with clouds" is referring to the Second Coming of Christ.

It gives me hope when 'pre-trib' folks admit that they-could-possibly-be-wrong... :D

( Which is extremely rare. )
There are a number of pre-tribbers on here who I have never - not even once - seen / heard actually humble themselves enought to admit this.

"Just sayin'..."

Amazing how much verbiage is chunked, misapplied and or changed....some examples I have read in this thread....

ALL substituted for AS MANY AS
KEEP<--applied erroneously DOES NOT MEAN REMOVE, but rather protect or guard from LOSS, HARM or INJURY
Timing of the ANNOUNCED wrath of GOD rejected and applied unto the GREAT TRIBULATION
Who the saints are identified as in the entire N.T. except REVELATION
etc....

Guess which group.............yep!

Funny thing....I have been hearing preachers preach for almost 45 years that Jesus can come at any moment.....all while rejecting ALL of the things the bible states MUST TAKE PLACE FIRST......glad I pitched that red pill in 1992!

No,Jesus went bodily to heaven,as did Elijah,Enoch, and the patriarchs. The 3 witnesses also will rise BODILY,as do the dead in Christ at the rapture.
Jesus was 'resurrected', and went bodily to heaven - yes.

Perhaps Elijah and Enoch went bodily to heaven ( while still alive, not having died ); however, I believe that they have yet to receive their "glorified" bodies.

The 'patriarchs' - absolutely not - they are still dead in their graves... ( their bodies...; their souls are in Heaven with God ) None of them have received their "glorified" bodies, yet.

3 witnesses? :p

The two witnesses will rise bodily - yes.

The dead-in-Christ will rise bodily at the rapture - yes.

:)

The 'rapture' may very well be explained in two minutes -- but, if you want 'em to understand it and accept it as the Bible defines and describes it - you got to give 'em some time... :D

WOW -- has this thread ever gone far afield. Nooooobody wants to answer that original question.

This whole thing is utterly simple:

I believe whatever Peter, James and John believed
when they went out from the Olivet Discourse.

And what did Peter, James and John believe?

Answer: They believed whatever it is that Jesus told them.

What did Jesus tell them when they asked Him about the end times?

He told them to look for...NOT for a pre-70th Week event (the alleged PreTrib rapture)...but RATHER...to look for the Abomination of Desolation, followed by the Great Tribulation, followed by the Gathering.

THEREFORE...Peter, James and John believed Jesus.

And I believe the same thing Peter, James and John believed.

---
Amazingly, PreTrib is forced to concede it views Peter, James and John as holding to false doctrine.

Obviously therefore, PreTrib doctrine....is an absurdity.

Again, they never even DREAMED of asking anything about the world ending.

Your statement makes no sense. What does that even mean? They asked Jesus about the end of the "age". And I'm not debating with Prets in the first place. You Prets and your annoying "flanking" problem". Oy vey. Get your own thread, bro. LOL

It's like two Bible believers discussing Noah's flood and some third uninvited guy keeps interjecting with "but the Bible isn't even true". Get your own conversation, bro. Get your own thread. Good grief.

But God bless you anyway!

Re: OOPS!

Jesus is the only person who was 'resurrected'.

Lazarus? Jesus is the only man to have been resurrected and received a glorified body.

This is exactly why I will ALWAYS be here when I see people changing the words of the Bible to try and create their own new doctrine.

The mere fact that my post forced you to admit they never asked about "the end times" as you tried to slide it in with your post # 191, is the reason I interject the ACTUAL Biblical content.

I wasn't "forced" to do anything. (?) I have no idea what actual point you're trying to make...as usual. Sorry.

They asked Jesus about the "end of the age". Thus, Jesus and the disciples were discussing "end times".

Again, I would recommend you get your own thread. This is a discussion among "futurists". I started a thread for Prets. Take a look.

There's no invented 'thus' to it.

They were discussing the end of the age of the Jewish Sacrificial System, and the end of the age of Roman oppression. They were asking Him when He would return to kick some butts, destroy those people, and make them (the disciples) become free men in this world.

I am with PennEd. I will lovingly put my arm on your shoulder and explain the Pretrib rapture to you on our way up.

Anyone who wants to stick a shiv in my back or have God stick a shiv in my back for not believing a post trib rapture.........most assuredly doesn't have it right.
Yes. I don't care how hungry I get I'm not taking the bait of those who not only push their eschatology, but degrade, insult, and even call demonic those that have a differing view.

I am absolutely certain those who do that are NOT speaking being led by the Holy Spirit, and I rarely respond or even read their posts.
