I'm sure you will agree with me that it is not the posting of Scripture that is the problem.

The problem is the user's foul and twisted commentary that follows it. It shocks me how so many on CC are allowed to purposefully and consistently pound out foul balls in an attempt to muddy the originally crystal clear and pure waters of God's Word. Some are even trying to silence the setting forth and posting of Scriptural Truth altogether. This is truly a sign that the last days are upon us. First, they took it out of schools; now they seek to take it out of CC. Dark day.

yes it seems now for thousands of years the lord purposes his true word to be written down . So no one could come and say “ God said this , or that “ when he actually didn’t

the value of scripture is that what he said is forever

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

if we know what’s written no one can tell Us what isn’t there or change what we know is there

yes they break off chapters where they shouldn’t be a lot huh
I wish I could use the bible code the way the format sets up scripture there is no chapter paragraph or numbers or even spaces yet it was only in this format that hidden messages were found

Many of you may wonder why I post with very little scripture reference....chapter..verse.

The word of God says to search the scriptures....this we see in the old as well as in the new.
The scrolls did not have chapters and numbered verses. To be honest I don't think God intended this to applied to his word.
If we go to chapter and verse we miss the context of the word. Drawing our own conclusions on what is being said.

Example.

We all know john 3:16 at least we should it's the most popular verse in the bible.
Now be honest how many can quote john 3: 15 by memory.
How about john 3:17 by memory.
If you can't then my point is made. What is really being said and meant in verse 3:16? Without contexts some may of drawn there own conclusions 😗

Another verse is "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" what is paul talking about? You may be surprised.

Or I may be wrong. Check it out.

I’ve never really wondered that about you people get their message across in different ways here.

I’ve usually always recognized scripture in your ideas you post about and if not it’s always interesting . so I have never really wondered that . also enjoy your creativity in sharing brother God bless

yea it definately overlaps a lot where it shouldn’t and throws a wrench in there sometimes if we count on the verse and chapter numbers huh

I try to read according to the subject matter bekng conveyed as best I can it seems to help

“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:5-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Agree. My point is that there is no CC rule that states that we must limit our Scripture posting to only one verse at a time.

yeah some People communicate here differently I notice and prefer the more scripture the better but there’s also the good concepts about scripture here that have good value who maybe quote a few but talk a lot about the concept

we’re all different in how we receive and share I think but there’s always value and also thinking in ways we may not have ourself but I prefer learning the messages of scripture I’m still learning I can’t put the scripture away yet it holds way too much revelation

If it is a hardship and grievous chore for one to post Scripture, then one is welcome to speak freely without it. Just don't use it as an opportunity to lie about what the Bible says and means.

I had an idea about a thread I was thinking of making a while back. The idea was similar to this game I like to play where I choose a random verse and write a poem about it except instead of writing based on that verse we all spoke using scripture only using verses to have actual conversations
But in the end I decided against it still I think it is a good idea

Pilgrim, you are a master at posting the scriptures. Often, Ill post a paragraph and you’ll follow with the scriptures that relate to it. Others do similar things. I never worry about the message not getting across to others.

I often try to do that with you and others brother I recognize scripture in a lot of what some of you say so I try to inject those scriptures for support as often as possible.

there’s alot of folks who if they read the scripture themselves it carries alot of weight and will make a better impact I do that with you often because it rings scripture in my head that I’ve read before several people here speak about scripture correctly even if they aren’t quoting it

alot of others here are good at recognizing it to be scripture it’s always meant for support. I’m not as good as explaining things as others but I do always recognize what scriptures they are talking about

yes that’s one of the reasons I like scriptire to confirm things we can’t get too far off track if we need to see the relatively clear scriptures our thinking will stay there if we make it important

The scripture dates back to when God spoke ot through angels and men and New Testament through the Son , himself Manifest in the flesh.

“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power,

when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭1:1-3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

what’s written is sire and true and will always be a North Star for believers

We have already been given one...

Revelation
22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and [from] the things which are written in this book.

Oops, sorry about that. I forgot that I was not supposed to post Scripture. :(
Why oh why my friend and where did I ever say that? This post is to help not hinder the reading and teaching of God's word.
There are 66 books by 40 different authors as you well know. All of them have common threads in them .
But all are unique.
Read any one of the books then ask yourself "why was this written? What's it purpose for me?
Many saints here pick and choose which book they will read and study. But I ask you is that the way you read other books about other subjects.
Just as God designed the universe I believe he also designed his book. He instructs us to pray and meditate on his word.
Few do that. They go to you tube or the dead men commentaries for understanding. No wonder we have so many beliefs in certain subjects.
Funny fact is paul instructed the theologians not vice versa. They looked to him for answers.
God says his word makes one wise.
All I did is give a answer for why I do this and reading the Bible book by book has enhanced a better understanding of my Lord my savior Christ Jesus.
So many details are given, so many scenarios are presented, but there are so many that miss this.
God's mission is not to conform but transform by his word.
