Brothers, Sisters and Friends,
Let us turn our attention to Psalm 11:5 which states, “The Lord trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.” Make no mistake about it, as we see from the entire bible, the truth of the righteous being tried and tested from the moment of belief unto their death and or future rapture. This verse also carries with it the eternal truth that God hates those who will love injustice, wickedness, unjust gain, cruelty, oppression and violent dealings. Note the preceding words are all found under the definition of the word violence as found in the Hebrew. Just as Esau, God hates those who will exercise the above negative principles while at the same time God will test those who are his in order to mature us to the point of “completeness” if you will.
