"Jesus expanded on the ten commandment. why? Because he wants us to follow them. "

He didn't expand them, he condensed and fulfilled them

The priesthood of the new covenant is out of the tribe of Judah.
Because the priesthood law changed hence Heb 7

Heb 4:11 Therefore, if perfection were through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need was therethat another priest should rise according to the order of Melchizedek, and not be called according to the order of Aaron? 12 For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law. 13 For He of whom these things are spoken belongs to another tribe, from which no man has [b]officiated at the altar.

14 For it is evident that our Lord arose from Judah, of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.

So we can worship other gods, steal ,lie, break His holy Sabbath, murder etc.

There is no scripture that says Jesus fulfilled the Ten Commandments so we can profane them. I’m not sure where you are getting this from, but it’s not written in our bibles.

God is the one who sanctifies and keeping the Sabbath is a sign God gave that we know who is sanctifying us.
Sabbaths were a sign to those under the old covenant. The holy spirit and circumcision of the heart are the sign to those under the new covenant that God is sanctifying them. The sabbaths were just a shadow of the reality of resting from our own works of the flesh to know that God is sanctifying us

Verse please.

No scripture says the Sabbath is “Old Covenant”
We are only sanctified by God Eze 20:12
Only the Truth of God’s Word sanctifies us John 17:17
All of God’s commandments are Truth Psa 119:151 the Sabbath is a commandment of God.

The weekly Sabbath can’t be a shadow of anything because it started at Creation, when everything was perfect. Shadow laws came after the fall of man pointing to Jesus as a plan of salvation. At Creation, when the Sabbath started everything was perfect before man sinned and disobeyed God.

The weekly Sabbath is a commandment of God, blessed by God that may He can remove His blessing Num 23:20 So one would need a thus saith the Lord to go with that Text and all the thus saith the Lords on the Sabbath and there are many are for us to keep and not profane. Jesus kept the Sabbath and is our example to follow.

Follow the Lamb! He will only lead us on the narrow path back to Him. Follow man and it leads us in a ditch Mat 15:3-14

Can you please tell me how you can find the liberty to do these things from love God and love your neighbor? If you love God and your neighbor you won't violate the spirit of those commandments.

The bible says Jesus fulfilled all of the law

I see, so we choose the laws that we think are right and not because God said so. So the Ten Commandments are more suggestions in your opinion and multiple choice. Sadly this makes one their own god, depending on their own righteousness instead of God’s. Psa 119:172 which is everlasting Psa 119:142

There is no scripture that says God fufilled the law so we can worship other gods, or break His holy Sabbath day, or covet or steal. Jesus said not to break the least of these commandments quoting directly from the Ten Commandment as one would be least in heaven and in fear of sin and Judgement Mat 5:19-30 when we keep our own rules, like making the commandments multiple choice, instead of obeying God the way He said, Jesus says our heart is far from Him (where did God place His law? In the heart Heb 8:10) and one worships in vain. So thats one path we can take, that path Jesus said ends up in a ditch Mat 15:3-14.

The other path is we can place our faith in Jesus and follow His example who kept all of the commandments including the Sabbath and trust He knows what’s best for us.

Guess we will have agree to disagree and all gets sorted out soon enough. I wish you well.

No, we obey the law that says do to others as you would want them to do to you, or conversely, don't do to others what you wouldn't want done to yourself. Would you want someone to murder you, commit adultery with your wife, steal from you, lie to you, covet your belongings? If not, don't do those things to anyone else. Simple. It's the ultimate form of justice, which is just another word for righteousness.

Referring to the eternal moral law of love in its various expressions, NOT to the Sabbatarian law that was only for the purpose of separating the Jews so they would serve as the physical heritage of Messiah.
Verse?

According to Christ its a whole lot more than that.

Its about keeping justice and doing righteousness
Not doing evil
Its about jointing ourselves to Christ
To love His name
To be His servants

In return He blesses those who keep His Sabbath. Made for everyone.

Isa 56:1 Thus says the Lord:

“Keep justice, and do righteousness,
For My salvation is about to come,
And My righteousness to be revealed.
2 Blessed is the man who does this,
And the son of man who lays hold on it;
Who keeps from defiling the Sabbath,
And keeps his hand from doing any evil.”

6 “Also the sons of the foreigner
Who join themselves to the Lord, to serve Him,
And to love the name of the Lord, to be His servants—
Everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath,
And holds fast My covenant

Without Christ’s blessing we are nothing.

Rev 22:14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.

When we assign a day as God’s holy day, one God never sanctified and said it was made for works and labors Exo 20:9 and profane the day God in His own Words sanctified Gen 2:1-3 in His own Words called it My holy day, the holy day of the Lord- is not doing harm to God?

Isa 58:13 “If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath,
From doing your pleasure on My holy day,
And call the Sabbath a delight,
The holy day of the Lord honorable,
And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways,
Nor finding your own pleasure,
Nor speaking your own words,

God said it is in His own Words

Eze 22:26 Her priests have [a]violated My law and profaned My holy things; they have not distinguished between the holy and unholy, nor have they made known the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they have hidden their eyes from My Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them.

So, no we do not get to pick and choose the commandments we feel are righteous and just and ignore what God says, our righteousness is as filthy rage, why we need to depend on God’s Psa 119:172. We can, but are we really serving Christ of the Bible? There are many gods of this world.

Keeping the Sabbath we know we are serving the One True God.

Eze 20:20 hallow My Sabbaths, and they will be a sign between Me and you, that you may know that I am the Lord your God.’

God said it is in His own Words
To Israel after the flesh. But I sayeth unto thee:

There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. Hebrews 4:9-11

Your first sentence is not part of Hebrews 4.

I posted on this a while ago, I’ll repost it again…

Hebrews 4 is a difficult passage to understand and not one that can be read lightly, or believed by what some pastor says because they do not keep the Sabbath commandment. It is actually teaching the opposite of what most people teach.

God's covenant was ratified at the death of Christ. Nothing could be added or changed to His covenant. The Sabbath rest- was still kept according to the commandment Luke 23:56 so didn't change when Hebrews was written decades later.

There are two rests being discussed in Hebrews 4 not one - the rest we enter in Christ through faith and the Sabbath rest, which is according to the commandment that God said was on the seventh day Exo 20:10

To see these two rests, it is shown explicitly in verse 10 which should help with the other verses and one must understand the story of Joshua before entering into Canaan and what David wrote in Psa 95:7-11 which is a quote verbatim.

Hebrews 4:10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.

To enter in Christ rest one ALSO ceases from his works as God did from His.

When did God cease from His works? This very passage tells us

Heb 4:4 For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”;

It truly cannot be made any plainer- to enter His rest one ALSO rests on the seventh day just as God did, for our example.

This passage is bringing us to Mt Sinai when God spoke of the seventh day in this way. Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. The seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God. These are God's spoken and written work that cannot be edited in any way, because no one is above God.

Which is why v9 says

Heb 4:9 There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God;

The rest in this verse literally translates into Sabbath-keeping

Strong's Concordance
sabbatismos: a sabbath rest
Original Word: σαββατισμός, οῦ, ὁ
Part of Speech: Noun, Masculine
Transliteration: sabbatismos
Phonetic Spelling: (sab-bat-is-mos')
Definition: a sabbath rest
Usage: a keeping of the Sabbath, a Sabbath rest.

The passage goes on to warn us of following the same disobedience as some of the Israelites who many did not enter their rest into the promise land Heb 4:6, 11 and many also defiled the Sabbath Eze 20:21 Ezo 20:13 we should not follow that same path of disobedience so we can enter into our promise land which is heaven.

The author of Hebrews is not changing God's Sabbath commandment. No one can reverse God's blessing but God Num 23:20 and God said He would not Psa 89:34 Mat 5:18 because man needs God's sanctification Eze 20:12 and so we know we are worshipping the God of Creation Eze 20:20 Exo 20:11 the One True God, the only God who can create heaven and earth and the Sabbath is connected to God and to Creation, which is why the devil hates the Sabbath so much and has tried to deceive so many, just as we were told Dan 7:25.

Heb 4:4 For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”;
Hebrews 4:4 doesn't say that; it says this.

For he spake in a certain place of the seventh on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. Hebrews 4:4

The word day is not in the Greek text, so God was not speaking about the seventh day of creation, but the 7th, which signifies perfection. The author of Hebrews used that verse to illustrate the cessation of labor in perfection, ie God stopped working because what he created was perfect.

The sabbatismos (translated rest) that remains for the people of God is not a sabbath day, but eternal perfection where there will be no labor. Let us strive to enter into that rest of the perfect work of Christ lest through unbelief we fall by trying to justify ourselves through works of law (like keeping the weekly sabbath),

There remaineth therefore a rest (sabbatismos) to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. Hebrews 4:9-11

Rev 22:14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
Do you know why the verse says, His commandments?.
the majority of other translations say wash their robe in the blood.

Wow that's interesting. It's because different manuscripts were used. I'm going to have to look into this
King James Version 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city 15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

wycliffe bible 14 Blessed be they, that wash their stoles, (so) that the power of them be in the tree of life, and (they) enter by the gates into the city. 15 For withoutforth [shall be shut] (the) hounds, and witches, and unchaste men, and man-quellers, and (those) serving to idols, and each that loveth and maketh leasing.

tyndale bible 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that their power may be in the tree of life, and may enter in thorow the gates into the city. 15 For with out shall be dogs and enchanters, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth or maketh leasings.

Do we worship God by breaking His commandments? Not according to Jesus Mat 15:3-14

We should worship God 365 24/7 but that also means keeping His commandments, His version. :)
There is no Sabbath commandment in the new covenant because it was fulfilled by Christ. The Sabbath was a shadow of things to come like many things.

We should not have one foot in Judaism and one in Christianity.
