Are you saying that every Christian is full of faith?
Having doubts does not equal full of faith, so no... not that your
question makes any sense in light of what I actually did say

@awelight, so if someone does it out of ignorance, do you think they'll be forgiven?
While other factors are in play, in order to be forgiven, however, there was a time when we all acted out of ignorance. So can they be forgiven? YES.

1Pet_1:14 as children of obedience, not fashioning yourselves according to your former lusts in the time of your ignorance:

Mar 3:28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
Mar 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:
Mar 3:30 Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.

Mat 12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is attributing evil to God when He is good which the Pharisees did by saying Jesus has an unclean spirit.

A person can blaspheme against the Son of man, the flesh,. but not blaspheme against the Spirit.

When Peter denied Christ he did not deny God or say anything amiss about Him, but he denied the man Christ Jesus, the flesh.

When Saul persecuted the Church he did not deny God or say anything amiss against Him, but he went against the man Christ Jesus not believing that He was from God.
“And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭1:12-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

remember who you are and what you did before you accept Christ is not who you are when you receive him going forward

for anything to be sin it has to be known and understood first by the sinner

“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.”
‭‭James‬ ‭4:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul was ignorant of Jesus to begin with I’m sure like most all the Jews paul had said a lot about Jesus and his word remembering who Jesus is and who’s spirit is in him and who was speaking through him

God doesn’t hold ignorance against us once we become aware we become accountable.

I believe David prayed for his sins of ignorance and Jesus asked God not to hold those who crucified responsible because " ...they know not what they do..."

I believe David prayed for his sins of ignorance and Jesus asked God not to hold those who crucified responsible because " ...they know not what they do..."
yes that’s my point. If you do t know something is sin , God isn’t holding you guilty as of you did had they known and believed Jesus was who he cleaned to be they wouldn’t have killed him . “ father forgive them they know not what toy do “

David however didn’t ask for forgiveness of his sins of ignorance he knew the law said “ don’t commit adultery or you’ll be put to death “ he asked for forgiveness of his sins because he knew the right thing to do and didn’t do it he still committed adultery knowing it’s sin

David repented for his sins because he knew he had committed them and couldn’t live with it on his conscience when he hid his sins when he acknowledged and confessed from the heart what he knew hed done wrong he was forgiven for his sin

“Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no guile.

When I kept silence, my bones waxed old Through my roaring all the day long. For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: My moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.

I acknowledged my sin unto thee, And mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; And thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: Surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭32:1-6‬ ‭

When you didn’t know what you did was sin you can never repent and ask forgiveness “ father forgive them for they know not what they did “ that’s grace and forebearance from God

“ Father forgive me because I’m aware I have sinned and it’s defiling my conscience “

that’s repentance and remission of sins is the cleansing of iniquity through repentance and belief of the atonement Jesus death and resurrection.

precisely what your saying is the difference if I don’t know something I can’t possibly learn and obey it

if I hear something and learn it now I can obey it because it’s Gods Will he taught me in the gospel I’m now aware of the right thing to do now if I choose not to do it I’ve sinned and it should bring sorrow because that’s what leads to repentance

“Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭7:9-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

if I I ow Jesus taught me something to live by and don’t do it it will make me feel like I’m letting him down , like I’m not doing what I’m meant to do . This brings a certain sorrow to the heart of a believer when they have heard his word

it doesn’t if we reject his words but will if we accept his word and that sorrow is what corrects and teaches us as we go through life we need to keep our conscience clear while we’re learning from God how to live forever in the gospel

I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭5:32‬ ‭

“Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭15:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, and said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24:45-48‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Without us repenting and believing the gospel we actually aren’t promised eternal life we have a choice

we can hear and believe the gospel that calls us to repentance

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭

or can reject it

“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭13:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬
h

And be judged by the same word we reject now hearing it that offered believers eternal life through the bloodshed of Jesus and his word of eternal Life and final judgement

He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.”
‭‭John‬ ‭12:48-50‬ ‭KJV‬‬

to hear and believe Jesus and the gospel is life and death , but it does lead us to repentance from sin and learning from Jesus nd actually changing and following the new we’re learning to be like him a child of God

if we won’t accept the part of Gods word telling us we have to repent and then saying I’m saved by faith it’s not really going to work because

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

faith isn’t “ I have faith so now I get to reject what a God is telling us to do and not do “

that’s not how we’re saved by faith it’s “ to hear and accept Gods word and then act as if I believe it’s true “

“Noah the flood is coming build this Sri I’m telling you about “

“yes lord I believe “

that’s faith

I appreciate your response. But my point is that God does hold us responsible for our sins. This is much like getting a speeding ticket. You may not have known you were speeding but still get a ticket. Guilt isn't based on knowledge of the offense; only whether or not the offense took place.

God isn’t a police officer chasing speeders he’s a father a good and just and merciful one

if you have twin daughters equal in every way

one of those you teach all the rules in detail

the other you let them figure out things and never teach them anything

would you judge those two children equally ?

the more you know and understand the more you ere then accountable for we aren’t all judged the same it’s according to what you know and understand of the gospel you can judge yourself because your operating on everything you know and think

you could t judge another person because you aren’t aware of what the y know it’s a basic biblical concept taught by Christ brother

you don’t expect the same from a babe as from a five year old , you don’t teach a five year old what you teach a fifteen year old , a grandpa knows stuff a child doesn’t you have to as a father know each child personally

it’s not Moses law of the letter but the spirit of Christ we receive and walk by

it’s not worth arguing to me anyways but is basic the more you know the more is expected of you just like any person who’s growing up in life we also grow up as Christian’s learning and becoming aware and growing in faith and walking as we do

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭1:16-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s a process a daily walk every day we grow but it’s between each believer and the lord who’s meant to be with them and in then through the gospel

“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6:19-20‬ ‭

each of us has a relationship now through Christ with God almighty who intends to be our father and be with us through the gospel and our hearing and believing.

we don’t have a God high on a mountain burning with fire who tells us to stay away or we’ll all perish because he will break forth upon us like in the desert

we have a father who calls us near to learn from him humble gentle lessons bag lead us home is we hear and believe him

he is looking at us now like children so as yes he holds us to account he also is aware when we’re doing something from sin or from ignorance we can’t hide it from him now.

if we don’t know something is wrong he doesn’t impute it against us like the cross they didn’t know so Jesus just interceded for them they weren’t called to repent it’s was grace Jesus said “forgive them they are ignorant of what they are doing “

Later when they became aware and accepted it they were called to repentance and became aware it’s pretty basic what I’m saying I’m not talking about a Speeding ticket but the Bible

the more you know the more your accountable for

“Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.”
‭‭James‬ ‭3:1‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“And that servant, which knew his Lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.

But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes.

For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭12:47-48‬ ‭KJV‬‬

All judgement isn’t equal it’s equal in that we each have a certain level of knowledge and understanding we’re not held accountable for more than we know

a new Christian isn’t judged like a pastor or lifetimer it really isn’t worth arguing about brother what I’m saying is basic you don’t punish someone for something they don’t understand is wrong you do that of someone does understand and does it in rebellion against you

Again I’m not talking about mans law but the gospel , in the gospel everything is by faith and grows and is cknsrs rly livin and growing as we hear and believe Jesus

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

if we know something is wrong then it’s sin if we do it and then we would need to repent and confess and let Christ cleanse us

it’s a process a daily walk whereby our faith and capability grows and then our expectation follows

the real key to this Topic is what SIN CAN NEVER EVER be forgiven?

unbelief can be forgiven so that does not relate.

Blaspheming the Holy Spirit is that SIN and ONLY SIN that can never be forgiven.

I'm making a distinction between a person holding you responsible and the law finding you guilty. A person may exercise mercy as God does for His children. But the law if broken always leads to guilt--whether broken ignorantly or not. Jesus knew that the law would find His crucifiers guilty that's why He asked the Father to exercise mercy. Jesus knew they were guilty and He knew what punishment their sin called for even though they didn't. And He knew that while the law only condemns, God might not and grant mercy.

There has been a lot of talk about the unpardonable sin, but few truly understand it. This "sin" has been committed throughout the history of the church, but most believers have no idea what it is.

I have two questions for us all about this topic.

1) Can you point out who committed this sin in the NT? Please show biblical evidence.
2) Can someone define the unpardonable sin in a few words?

View attachment 243991
how does one speak to something Only Jesus said in one situation recorded in Scripture? Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit says the work of the Holy Spirit, as seen in the Gospel of Matthew, Luke, and Mark was done by the devil.

Jesus never said to the Pharisees you Blasphemyed the Holy Spirit. He admonished them Because HE knew their thoughts is says.

Jesus called them in Matthew chapter 23 Hypocrites. Jesus called them vipers, full of dead men's bones and many other things, BUT Jesus did not say You have blasphemed the Holy Spirit to them. Why?

Because they said, Jesus cast out the devil by the power of the devil. Jesus then told them you can do whatever you want about me, and it will be forgiven. But Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven in this life of the next one to come.
It is clear the Pharisees did not know the Holy Spirt, and they thought they were attacking Jesus to discredit what the people were saying prior to their comments

Matthew 12:23
23 And all the people were amazed and said, “Can this be the Son of David?”

24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, “It is only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, that this man casts out demons.”

"That this man casts out demons".

We have a bad habit of jumping to the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit at the expense of the verses above. Jesus is speaking

25 Knowing their thoughts, he said to them,Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will stand.

26 And if Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?
27 And if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges.

28 But if it is by the Spirit of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon
29 Or how can someone enter a strong man's house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? Then indeed he may plunder his house.

30 Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.

Then Jesus says,

31 Therefore
I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32 And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

One cannot Blasphemy the Holy Spirit and not know they have done so. Many foolish pastors use that to control and bring the spirit of Condemnation on people of Jesus because they left their fellowship.

Yet Christians Grieve the Holy Spirit, Quench the Holy Spirit, and do not even give it a second thought. But, they will rack their brains to tell you what is blasphemy OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Blasphemy is a sin of knowledge: the closest thing we see is only what Jesus said. Some think it is unbelief Jesus did not say that.
Where the scripture is silent on the topic, we, too, must be silent.

@awelight, so if someone does it out of ignorance, do you think they'll be forgiven?
My friend 2Cor. 5:19 states that God does not remember our transgressions. He is not into sin because Christ dealt with all sins forever, but I'm sure you know that only those who have believed in Jesus and received His Holy Spirit, are entitled to embrace the truth of what God has done through Christ.

So, what if we sin grievously? Immediately God goes to work to restore you, so if we know how much He loves us, sin would not be part of us because we would be taken up by His passionate love for us, and His desire to fellowship with us through His precious Spirit.

However, in this state of communion with the Lord, sin will fall off and you will recognize that sin was a part of your old man (Adamic nature) which is no longer part of you at all.

Focus on His faithfulness, so when we sin, just get up turn away from it (repent) and let the Lord restore you by believing His love for you depends on who He is, and not in what you do.

Turn your heart to Him, and your behavior will immediately start changing.

how does one speak to something Only Jesus said in one situation recorded in Scripture?

What you said has nothing to do with my original short question. My question was in relation to the sin that cannot be forgiven? What is this sin?
