repentance is not what many people think it is look at it jesus way it’s remembering where you really belong and choosing to go home it’s admitting all your sins and feeling that godly sorrow because of the son wouldn’t have regretted his decision to leave and was still having fun in his wild life he would never have come home the sorrow of his circumstance caused repentance realizing it was his choices and fault
“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”

Consider letting the lord into the deepest secrets you have and laying them bare before him in prayer now in repentance so that they are remitted before this day

Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.”
