Here is a book that will quite possible transform your life! It is one that my Dad got me into to when I was younger. He was like a modern day apostle in China and spent 20 years in prison for his work on the gospel (I think it was on false charges)

The book lays out the Gospel in detail and leaves absolutely no stone unturned.
over the years I’ve read this book and it’s both encouraged and also frustrated me to extreme measures. (I had to buy another copy because I kept throwing my first one across the room)

The reason it can be so frustrating is because it is full of meat which I was not ready for it at the time, but over the years I’ve come to find that book makes absolute sense! The Christian life be very difficult to understand without experience of walking daily in the spirit, but I’ve found that when you persevere with the Christian life, learning to put off the old man, things that were once complicated become very simple. (The natural man cannot receive the things of the spirit neither can he understand them because they are foolishness to him - (1 cor 2:14)

Anyway, ramble over. Here’s an audio version 🔥

Cheers, Paul! I read a lot of it. But I prefer the simpler versions of the spiritual life found in Watchman Nee’s other books. I’ve read quite a few of Watchman Nee’s books. I believe his book ‘The Normal Christian Life’, a study on Romans, is a classic. TNCL needs to be read thrice, at least!

I totally agree with you Charishharoon on your statements about TNCL. I have read it multiple times, it is a treasure.

Isn't Watchman Nee the guy who got caught plagiarizing Jessie Penn-Lewis?
