Satan especially likes to tempt us........

1 ) when our faith is fresh ,when a christian is recently converted.

2 ) when our faith feels strongest, when we think we are invulnerable to sin.

3 ) when our faith is being tested in the fires of affliction.
a ) physical,mental,emotional affliction
b ) spiritual affliction

3 ) when satan puts his thoughts into our minds and then blames us for having them.

4 ) when satan launches his accusations as if they were from the Holy Spirit. how can we distinguish between satanic accusation and divine conviction? God's conviction releases hope.satans accusation produces condemnation and hopelessness

Greetings Brother,

Nice posting. I also believe that a lot of the blame should also be placed upon mankind and our rebelliousness towards our Heavenly Creator. I agree that Satan does tempt and has been a tempter from the beginning, but, the sins are committed by us. Since we are debtors by law, our account needs to be reconciled unto God. We do this through Jesus Christ. This is why Satan cannot 'legally' bring a charge against God's elect considering our surety (Jesus) has already reconciled the account for us and the Father ultimately dismissing it with prejudice. You can affix blame to Satan for certain things, but, oftentimes we are our own worst enemy.
