I find that many folks do not grasp just what the "false claim" in verse 2 (Paul was talking to them about here) pertained / pertains to [/is claiming], and thus they miss the import of these two verses, even.



To the Thessalonians (who were experiencing what 2Th1:4 says, "tribulations and persecutions that YE ENDURE"), such a claim (though false) would be something perfectly believable and reasonable... not be something they had ZERO EVIDENCE about.

I just thought I would post this as I just read somewhere but I can't find it now, that the two end time witnesses I raised on the 6th trumpet

Sorry that's not true he was right, it's the seventh trumpet

Tip: There are chapters in Revelation that serve as a sort of interlude or overview.

Chapter 10 is one such chapter. So even though it is MENTIONING the "7th Trumpet," it is not saying that it is SOUNDING at that point;

Chapter 7 is another such chapter, where we see it written that the "a great multitude... of all the nations" (v.9) are "coming out of THE GREAT TRIBULATION [/ 2nd half of the 7-yr period]"... This chpt isn't saying that "the 2nd half / GREAT tribulation" is happening right then... because of "the 144,000" it is said (v.3) "...TILL we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads" (meaning, Trumpet #1 can't start till then), but "the 2nd half / GREAT tribulation" doesn't commence until the "5th Trumpet / 1st Woe unto the earth" (a distinct time-slot from that, see)

Rev 9:13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,

The six Angel sounded in chapter 9 in chapter 10 it begins talking about the 7th trumpet and in chapter 11 it sounds

Right... and that's the KEY ^ ; ... "in chapter 11" it doesn't "sound" until AFTER the "2W" have "ascended up to heaven"... and AFTER the "a great earthquake" and "in the earthquake were slain of men 7000" which things are said (of them) to be "the SECOND WOE [is past]"... (not the "THIRD WOE" which is associated with the "7th Trumpet," per Rev8:13).



AFTER those things take place (associated with the "6th Trumpet [events] / 2nd Woe"... THEN it says, "the SECOND WOE is past; and behold the THIRD WOE cometh quickly."
