I was just seeking communion some more with God.

I was just thinking how much of a hindrance sin can be and I really believe that sin really can be a sign your not walking close to God.

But really i believe that not walking so close to Christ is really all about not recognising a weakness you have and your need for strength.

Reminds me of this other song I have old.. by some black choir I have can't find who they were been so many years now "i'm free I'm free, I'm free and there ain't no chains on me". Its what I focus on

I wonder if sometimes people don't realise that sometimes in passages it may be a figure of speech going on.

Ive said myself this is impossible to do, but I've never actually given up.
I writer long replies, I write as I hear, hoping you will bite one piece and at time, then re-read and see new in love too, thank you
Oh, please read every verse in Context, preferably the whole Chapter, not just the verse or verses, please. Sometimes to get it correct more than one chapter needs to get read to keep it in context, with Dad, PaPa, Father in the mix to hear truth over error in Daddy's love for us all. Before stepping out on a plank and making doctrine out of verses. We have cliff notes and if take cliff notes and make more out of it, then we become like needles in a haystack. sorting out gnats and swallowing camels. As the Religious leaders did then and still do today also.

That is the key for sight in God's Spirit and Truth that does not coincide with this world's view. (John 4:23-24) Turn to God from within you and begin to see new, thank you
Think on that, between God and you,
Do not be surprised when others go against you, for doing good? The call I see is to love in truth to all, that I could never do, until God revealed to me the truth in this
1 Cor 13:1-3 I was a go getter, a doer, a person better than others Luke 18:9-14
Until I was broken down, seeing I am not perfect ever of me as Paul speaks of in Galatians. The first Chosen could not be ever, do it, why are we Gentiles trying to do it under Law. When the fulfillment of all Law is Love to all? Proven in the First (Old)Testament. Then our Savior Jesus for us to reconcile us all to himself (2 Cor 5:17-20) yelled it is done on the cross (John 19:30), It is Finished! What was/is finished Lord? Only Father can tell you the truth, and it is not continuing in sin that Dad wants. Seeing "I" can't do it, I now see God did it in Son first, to set me free in love to all, yes even those that have done me wrong? No more guilty, not harming anyone anymore. Thanking God not self or anyone else!
God in Son came to fulfill the Law and Prophets first, (Matthew 5:17) God did that and died in flesh's place once for us all on that cross (Hebrews 10:10) That is what is done. for us to believe and stand in that (2 Cor 5:17-20), no matter what. Get out from under Law to uphold Law in God by Son for us to love all, over the few I used to only love. That is the born new life given us free of charge, never to work for it ever again. Now to simply love all, wow! Yeah!
Then after seeing 1 Cor 13:1-3, and seeing, Paul stating without Love, one is not in with God (God is the true Love, which is not of this world we are in)
I saw verses 4-7 I asked God to impute that love for me to do it and not take any credit in doing it. Talk about rest (Hebrews 4:9-13)

New International Version

1 Cor 13:4-7

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

I saw, I am capable of those verses 1-3, yet did not have God's love for all as am called to have for all, I needed transformation from God to get this love and mercy imputed in me, anyone else?
Feed your enemies, Love your enemies, stop accusing and excusing behaviors only seeing the outer part of people (Romans 2:1-4) God knows it all and is not accusing, actually discipling, zs people are punishing. God does not want prisoners or slaves, you think? As Daddy,m PaPa, Father will tell you love his type of Love.

When, this love of God, that no other people can do perfect ever. I saw me defeated, and stopped trying to behave to be accepted by others. God has accepted us (Eph, 1:6) Forgiven us (Eph 1:7) and sealed us in himself for us to see this love beyond measure of any flesh understanding to it (Eph. 1:13)

Accepted by God in Son's done work on that cross done once over 2,000 years ago now
Start accepting God's favor to you in Son for you (Col 1:21-23). The risen Son, over the dead Son
There is a gigantic difference
So stop trying to see and now see, the sin issue leave you and the anger subside and the freedom truth gives you from God Father himself through the done work of Son that is risen where new life resides as no flesh can please God still (Romans 8:1-3) Thank you go and be new between God and you in Thanksgiving and praise and see what the new life does in and through you in love to all too, thank you
Contentment is what one, anyone from God gets given them, in all things good or bad happening

personally I fear for people with mental instability or depression because sin has a fear factor ruling their lives soin my view the blood of Christ cleanses us from sin and while we should not practice it we will fall short but that is when his grace takes over
People with limited/defective faculties (IMO) are treated differently by God concerning their salvation. As are children who have not yet reached the age of accountability. I believe one MUST be able to KNOW what a "sin" is and that they are committing a sin for God to hold them accountable. But, that's just me I suspect.

God is strong, I am weak and am thankful for this truth given to me to see and glory in my iniquities, I need God's lead 2 Cor 12:7-10. I see to glory in iniquities not work them for any self gain. There are those working iniquities and those glorying in them, thanking God for Son period personally, thank you for the joking. Laughter is good for the soul, as any broken spirit dries up the bones

The way I look at it, is God's grace is sufficient, meaning we can find glory in Gods mercy and forgiveness.

I believe your quoting from Paul without looking it up if I remember correctly the verse your quoting from is about how strong you can feal when your weak, which is refering to finding strength when your feeling down about iniquities or something like that I guess.

I would suspect that any form of sin a person commits is made aware of saved or unsaved.

As for God overlooking sin because of health related problems I can't see any good reason to believe such.

Regarding the age of accountability I believe all children under the age of accountability have a relationship with God that is unique to them and are made aware through many channels.

I can't believe for one minute there is any sin Any person can commit that they wouldn't know they had committed it afterwards.

I can't believe God not having any form of relationship with children under the age of accountability who are in the wilderness, or not in the wilderness either, for this reason I would also say God will find away to chastise children not saved in some way, or saved

Because for me God holds every life precious.

Trusting God, even in sin, Not wanting to sin and have still done sin, trusting God in Son did take sin away from me in God's sight for me through Son (Col. 1:21-23). Not only for me, yet for everyone to be new in his Son's risen life given them to stand in (1 John 2:1-2). That choice for me at least is final, I believe God in risen Son and asked for new life and what to do. Continue I heard, heard and see to do that, and stand willing to learn, seeing nothing can separate me from God's Love. God does not berate me, I do that all by myself alone, God does not need to do that for anyone, and others do that too, Luke 18:9-14, who gets Justified?
God has been using everything, that I have done, others have done and even might do to train me to see, as well as all others too, thank you. Never forcefully, just lovingly, discipling me through it all, never leaves, never forsakes anyone. People do that, so I see what Paul is talking of in Phil 3:1-20 Standing my ground in Col 1:21-23 and seeing (Matthew 10:16-20)
flesh nature is flesh nature, God's Spirit is God's Spirit

I feal confident that God empowers me to overcome sin through faith and obedience, as Christians grow they do become more like Christ 😉

I know I may never be perfect but for me sanctification is life long process, and I would rather pluck me eye out than not treat my body as a temple for the spirit and to be like Christ as much as I can.

The sin nature and desires flesh has can be disciplined and for growing mature Christians sin should and for most be overcome, and I do feal our flesh and in particular our mind can be made to feal loved by God to.

There are many people facing all sorts of problems all over the world and for some people desperation is a huge problem, but really in this day and age we really should be in better place.

But sadly it is what it is and really the best thing I can do is live a quiet life pleasing to the lord, and just find happiness in the finer things of life like friendship, not to mention cooking, I love cooking and having my food on time every day 4 times a day, to which I find happiness in and I'm so thankful to God just for those finer things and all the food he provides

Sadly tho there's many people around the world that would love just to be like that to, but there's many who can't even have that assurance, because of the evil that is in this world.

By nature the flesh is not just sinful it is also devouring, because flesh will devour itself just to survive especially when starvation comes in. But you can starve the flesh in good way to, life sticking to a low carb diet and like only having 450 calories a meal 😉. That's really a good way to tame the flesh, as those high carb diets can send a person crazy if he's not burning them extra calories of, well it's not all bad really, like say a one week holiday where you only eat say 3000 extra calories in a week for your maintenance weight will only cause you put on a couple of extra pounds lol. Anyway I'm waffling in waffles at the money coated in honey haha.

Another example of a devouring nature is, if a person has very little fat left on there body the flesh will start to devour it's muscle for energy.

Sadly many starving people around the world are in this predicament, and it's only set to get worse.

It's desperation like this can cause a person to do anything to survive, I can only pray people get the help they need.

My Mother, told me, anyone can do too much and too little and get hurt by it
I am too much into belief, and stand in this smothered and covered, and I have died over it and yet never been perfect, to this day of me ever. I see to rejoice in troubles, I simply can't stop beleif to the risen Son of God, that has connected mt to Father through continued belief.
I see I can't feed a hundred, yet at least one and then continue on
Thanks for your Joy working in you an through you too

Thanks i guess you can sometimes feel your not doing as much as you can, but that shouldnt be so if your doing more than what you can for one person, Mathew 5.41 😉, sure for people who are demanding you can get hurt if your helping them, but where still told to go beyond what is required, go that extra mile so to speak even for those who can be unruly,

I see the reason for that is maybe that demanding behaviour is a result of a person not recieving much kindness possibly in there past.

But I sense God is also strengthening the spirit to keep.the helper, helping just for a good cause only.

As I sense God recognises a person can stop helping if there hurt, or that the helper may turn something Good into something bad, possibly because the helper isn't mature to deal with hurt.

I also sense that when it comes to helping it's something the enemy would try to rob at every opportunity as in come between new relationships flourishing.as a result of helping.

Recognising that the enemy loves to make people self pity, like remind people how they don't get helped or that there hated is often the first seed of bitterness which is often planted that way I feel.

You are in process too, thanking God for that, God loving us all, in spite of anyone's behaviors. that love beyond reasoning has and is and does change me too. learning g from mistakes made, not being guilty any longer over making them. More importantly learning new from them from God personally within me 1 John 2:27

Reading this reminded me of this section of a letter from Paul

“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:12-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

You had said this
“I feal confident that God empowers me to overcome sin through faith and obedience, as Christians grow they do become more like Christ “

its important to o ow Gods work in us is to change our Will from darkness to light from the power of sin to the power of God so that we will act upright now in this life , though never being perfect we understand what a disciple is and what they are promised in the end of thoer journey with Jesus

thisnis how Paul thought an apostle who we should all look up to …..

I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.

Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

All of us, then, who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3:10-15‬ ‭NIV‬‬

kudos on your thinking there edifying stuff

All good Thanks for kind comments.

It really is important to know, we have to realise just one thing really, and that is God's work in us is process, as you said leading from a state of darkness and sin to one of light and righteousness,

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another,

We walk by the spirit, and in doing so we do not gratify the flesh.

We are commanded as well as empowered, and desiring a fellow servant to be as happy as you, is something that really does reflect God's light.

Its very much so 😉 the whole chapter is very much central to our faith, it also helps you have more of a reason to remain faithfull.

As for me sanctification is by faith alone, was there nothing else you like about this chapter .

As for me sanctification is by faith alone, was there nothing else you like about this chapter .
It is about confirming the resurrected Son, that if he is not raised, then we are still in Sin and sin not taken away, if not resurrected. only reconciled, forgiven, and then, one, anyone still has to work to get in, making this grace given not a gift, which makes God a liar, in Son did not take away sin John 1:29
There is a Half-sham Gospel out in this world of religion today, what?
There are those trying to imitate Jesus's walk here on earth as perfect, relying on his work, not as done for them, as these need to do it too or else not in

So, The question I have for those that have not settled, it is done for them by Son John 19:30 to walk new in the resurrected life of Son given them by God Father (The Holy Spirit of Truth)

"Which Jesus are you believing in?"

The answer I hear most of the time is, "What?"

Then I say, is it the Jesus you are trying to imitate, and are seeing you can't not perfectly anyways?
Or, might it be the one that is risen that desires your willingness to say, go ahead and use me in your love and mercy to all through me?
I choose, chose the risen Son in Daddy's Holy Spirit to lead, not me. To stand out of the way in my own thoughts that muck up the truth, as I now see and see to settle it Luke 21:14-15
God loves us all y'all, that is a fact, otherwise Jesus would not have gotten risen from the dead as reported to us by the disciples, he is risen where new life is given in love and mercy for us all to us all as reconciled first in the death alone 2 Cor 5:17-20
Now is risen ready to give the next person that goes to God within them personally and asks for the new life to be revealed to them and humbly accept this gift, thank you
