Let me share how I experience God in my life and I bet YOU ALL does exaxtly the same way.. and let us put it in God's word how he actually seperate us from evil... God calls it SANCTIFICATION.... TO SET APART...

First let us agree, it is GOD DOING the seperation.... God is the one that seperates us from evil to Him for Himself. God NEVER sanctified a person to return to the bad side.... God has a purpose to sanctify a person....

Sanctification is done by God! God leads us and if we follow HIM ALL THE WAY, we will end up in this...
Christ does this for the church.... That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
And God does this for EVERY INDIVIDUAL that God adds to the church....
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Goddoes this right here on earth... I find the washing of the Word is also the dying to sin.... But sin is washed off NOT AWAY yet.
It is like God gives us victory over all sin we lay down, but he still would remove it so far that our conscience would be cleared...

We are being sanctified, but the ones that are sanctified, are even set free from guilt. They are so set free that they do not even THINK sin let alone contemplate or DO sin... that is how effective Jesus set apart with his BLOOD.

And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
Look how clean he does wash....

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

I thank GOD for the brothers and sisters who are sola scripture here in CC, educated (some by theology, some by THE HOLY SPIRIT, some by BOTH), and GOD is pleased when we EARNESTLY CONTEND FOR THE FAITH.
God bless you all, no matter the differences we have, i know GOD is faithful when we continue to lift each other up in prayer so GOD may help us understand who is wrong and who isn't. Case in point HUMILITY(which am working on aswell) when GOD speaks to us, or teaches us.

Going to the OP.
Is it not awesome that when we have faced different arguments, trials and tribulations that we can go back to GOD and when HE leads us to scripture, all those anxieties, feelings just vanish and HIS word JUST WASHES away all those different thoughts and feelings. And how when we are washed by that very WORD, we get the unction to just do what THE LORD expects of us to do.
As the LORD said, Abide in me, and that we can never bear fruit(peace) without HIM

What do you say? What instant benefits have you seen from reading the Word of GOD IN the presence of GOD? How much has it washed you?
It has given me strength on more than on occasions and has helped me through tough times as well. It truly is a blessing to have

I have noticed that no matter how many times I read a certain passage, there is always something new!
That is the living Word, the Living Word washes the soul, scrubs the spirit, makes a man whole.
Truly the Bible is the living Word of God.
Glory to God! How the Holy Spirit uses it as a rod and a staff.
- "thy rod and thy staff comfort me, thou preparest a table for me in the presence of my enemies"
- - The whole Bible is like a shower really, it's ridiculous. Just shows the total grace of God.
- - - I mean total grace. His tender mercies are new every morning! And great is His faithfulness.
- - - - It's total grace in every way.

I was going to post that. it is an awesome thing to know that He is eternal and we will learn more and more each time we study the Word

Blessings

1Co 8:1 Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.
1Co 8:2 And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.
1Co 8:3 But if any man love God, the same is known of him.

Cobus, if you try to purify yourself you are in the same condition as the pharisees.
'I', 'we', 'the Word'.
Read the Word then.
The greatest(Jesus) washed the disciples lowest, most filthy parts, - (feet).
Why?
Because He was the only one that could!

Stop saying you can wash your own filthiness!
When you claim this you show NO understanding of sanctification!
(It is the Lord who redeems, sanctifies, and glorifies) - Read I Cor. 1:30.

If we DO THE WORD of GOD it washes us of the OLD nature and the Word of GOD becomes OUR NEW NATURE.
The moment we take that step, is where GOD starts backing up.
Till we make that choice, the Lord waits.

No, if we believe in Christ and confess him with our mouth we are cleansed and given a new nature. Then the continual washings begin.

Studying God's word and being assured of its truth is a powerful thing to me. There are so many people actually looking for what is real truth, real love, and the Word of God has it. Sometimes I'm actually burdened by this knowledge, I have the truth, am I really living up to its power in my life?
