I grew up and was taught at an early age to be agnostic. To make up my own mind but not to necessarily believe there was a God. However, I knew God was there. So the thing I was not sure of was which religion was TRUE.

I had a lot of different people tell me why their religion was the true one. I didn't respond very well to the people that tried to convince me that they had a lock on all the truth and everyone else was wrong. Like Roman Catholics and Jehovahs Witnesses.

I responded much better to people that would tell me a few things that they thought were true and encouraged me to find out for myself. If it were really true then I could verify it, I thought, I didn't need someone to convince me by arguing. I was really convinced that all religions had a little sliver of truth and it was up to me to study all of them and try to glean the truth and put it all together to find out the full truth.

I'm telling you all this to try and show that it isn't necessarily the guys that go from door to door that have the biggest impact for the gospel. The ones that had the biggest impact for me were the ones who showed an interest in what I was interested in and then when there was a break they would talk about what was important to them (the gospel). And I would ignorantly and pridefully tell them why I thought some of what they said was right and some was wrong.

Its funny looking back on it I realize how much these people were holding back and trying not to make me feel offended.

Ultimately, what had the biggest impact on me was scripture. I memorized Psalm 23 when I was 9 yrs old. Then, when I was older, I would check in the bible to make sure what the preacher was trying to say was in there. Sometimes it was, sometimes it wasn't.

Remember, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink...
Awesome! Thank you ,I wish you would also share this on the 🔑(key) thread! Blessings🎁

Different things work for different people.
I know of a friend who converted because the neigbhours went and knocked on her door and shared the gospel. If they hadnt, who knows, her family would have been lost.

I think no matter where you are...reach out. Schools are a good place, I first heard the gospel or knew of God in school. Through teachers, friend who were christians. These arent christian only schools.

While christian schools or faith based schools can be good, if they get too exclusive it can sort of defeat the purpose of them which is to be open for everyone. This is why catholic schools tend to breed the most agnostics lol. You think they will learn about God and Jesus in these religious schools, but many with a catholic education turn out to be real rebels.

Just to add, missionary schools are another place. When I first learned about missions, I was a bit shocked that they required most of the teachers to be sent over to teach in christian only schools, for the children of missionary parents, not actually reach out to the children of non christians they were trying to reach.

And these were exclusive schools, they all lived in their own christian bubble and didnt have much contact with outsiders.

We are to win over not war against those who remain unsaved. Those who oppose us oppose God we are to respond in peace and be about our fathers business.
It's a blessing to serve the saints and to be active in the church. For those who are looking for ministry let it begin in your homes.
Train up your children in the way they should go. Be that spouse God has called you to be, Be that watchmen over your neighborhood.
Be that friend that Christ has called you to be. Be the example of the one who became your example.
The ministry of kindness is very seldom preach.
Our fate is sealed our needs are or will be meant. After this life is glory. We are well kept by our father isn't the enough to tell someone they can be too?
