There is "One" future time of resurrection for all that have lived, both righteous and wicked Daniel 12:1-2, John 5:28-29

This takes place immediately after the tribulation, at the second coming of Jesus Christ, Matthew 24:29-31

Daniel below clearly shows this last day resurrection, at the time of tribulation, the books are open, righteous and wicked.

Last Day Resurrection Of All!

Daniel 12:1-2KJV
12 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Last Day Resurrection Of All!

John 5:28-29KJV
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Last Day Resurrection Of All!

Matthew 24:29-31KJV
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Last Day Resurrection Of All!

John 6:40KJV
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

What would you answer to this? 1st Corinthians 15:22-26;

22 "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death."

  • Verse 22 says what you say - all men will be resurrected
  • Verse 23 says that a resurrection has already taken place. See also Matthew 27:52-53
  • Verse 23 says that there is a gap and the next resurrection will be "at His Coming"
  • Verses 24-26 say that there must be another gap until death is destroyed. As long as one man is still dead, death is not destroyed.
  • Revelation Chapter 20 gives this gap as 1,000 years. Between the resurrection of those who were SLAIN and then LIVED and RULED for 1,000 years AFTER Christ comes, "the rest of the dead did not live until the thousand years was over". And since the battle of Magog is only AFTER the thousand years, and since there will be a great slaughter at this battle, death is by no means defeated until those slain are raised.
I propose that there is one resurrection, but it is split in time into a number of resurrections. In time, the first resurrection was when Elijah raised a boy. Next was Elisha. Next was a man who touched Elisha's bones. Then, our Lord raised at least three people and then Himself. Then came the group of saints in Matthew 27, just hours later. Then Peter raised somebody, and Paul raised somebody - some years later. Then we must wait for Christ's coming for the resurrection of "those who are His at his coming". Then another 1,000 years goes by and then the "rest of the dead" are raised.

TOTALLY FALSE. Why not pay attention to what is being posted instead of promoting false doctrine?

The term "Resurrection" in the Scripture is reserved exclusively for the time of the Lords second coming when the believers take on their "immortal bodies"

Lazarus, Tabitha, etc were "Raised From The Dead" they didnt receive immortal glorified bodies.

"TWO" resurrections are seen below, the righteous believer is "Blessed" to partake in the "First Resurrection" to eternal life.

The unrighteous wicked will partake in the "Second Resurrection" in the second death, to eternal damnation in the Lake Of Fire.

Last Day Resurrection Of All!

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, so all saints are with Jesus when they die.

But they have not received their glorified body yet, which the souls are under the altar and they say Jesus when will you avenge us, and He said when all the saints are with Him that come out of great tribulation.

Which at the last trumpet the dead shall rise first, receive their glorified body, and then those that remain on earth shall resurrect and receive their glorified body.

Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

The saints shall rise first and be with Jesus in glorified bodies.

The world shall attack Jerusalem and Jesus will come back and defeat the world, and save the Jews, and rule over one sixth of the world that God spared at the battle of Armageddon.

Then at the end of the millennial reign the dead shall rise and are judged.

Psa 63:9 But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.

Eph 4:9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
Rev 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Death and hell are in the lower parts of the earth, and death and hell are cast in to the lake of fire, so the earth will be cast in to the lake of fire where it will be burned up, and all the works of it.

Luk_3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:

For all sin must be purged with fire, and the saints receive the Holy Spirit and with fire.

Seperated by 1000 years...

God marked off time in Days....A first day and a last day...the last day ends when TIME shall be no more at the sounding of the 7th trump!

Nice try.....but you're incorrect!

Well techicly if you notice there is evidence to support the post tribulation theory as well as a mid and pre one, really we read and understand what the word says with our own understanding views and beliefs of what truth and what real doctrine is. if you look all over the bdf of these kinds of threads everyone seems to see the same verses but have a different take on it we all see our own views as the actual truth while the opposing views as false doctrine or malicious lies and even an offense to the word.

But have ever considered to actually try to understand what the other person is saying? have ever considered that maybe our own views and beliefs are somewhat biased and thus make every other evidence to be contrary? God's word doesn't contradict itself only we do, I am by no means an expert on understanding the scriptures but I do think we all need to at least try to understand where the other person is coming from.

maybe instead of trying to point out where the opposing beliefs and scriptures are we should try to see how they are actually connected deeply ponder it and see what God reveals to us. We can spend countless hours debating each other as to why we are wrong or right or instead try to understand where we are coming from.

People jump on a thread about the rapture because of how heated and sensitive a topic it is, countless threads have done this seen this and made the forum a field of blood insults mockery and quite frankly not a very productive place to produce fruits.

But what if maybe this once instead of continuing the tradition of literally every other rapture thread we break the cycle?

I don't know for sure what the OP is aiming at with the "last resurrection for all"

BUT

I do know that when the Eastern sky splits, and Christ descends with the Saints who have gone before.......... THAT WILL BE IT!

Time will be at an end for this world, and the Rapture will occur, and the separation of the wheat from the chaff will begin. Eternity with our Lord and Savior will begin, and eternal damnation for the lost will begin......

Folks can call all this whatever they want, but this is what is going to happen..........NO SECOND CHANCES for any.

1 Corinthians, Chapter 15:

34)
Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
35But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
36Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
37And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
38But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
39All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
42So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

OP: There Is "One" Future Resurrection Of All, On The Last Day
I agree that everyone will be recurrected once. We disagree on this events time frames.

1 Cor 15:21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
(NOTE: Every human will be resurrected ONCE. Yet, scripture teaches an order of time frames)

1 Cor 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
(NOTE: Jesus was the 1st to be resurrected)

1 Cor 15:23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
(NOTE: There are resurrection orders. Jesus was the 1st & many FOLLOWED Him out of the grave Matt 27:53)

John
5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
(NOTE: Hour here, speaks of a time frame & not 60 minutes)

29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
(NOTE: Two resurrection/judgments (Acts 24:15). 1st the Judgment Seat of Christ (Rom 14:10, 2 Cor 5:10, Rev 20:4) they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life. Believers only here & rewards for service are discussed, not sin. Christ payed for ALL the believers sins. 2ndly: the White Throne Judgment Seat/resurrection (Rev 20:7-15) those that have done evil, unbelievers only here, unto the resurrection of damnation. Every word, every sin judged, without mercy, via the LAW. This resurrection/judgment happens many years after the 1st. (Rev 20:7-15). Best wishes, FD

The book of Revelation reveals two reasurections.. with 1000 years in between them..

Chapter 20 deasl with what happens directly after the Battle of Amaggedon which is detailed in Revelation 19 if you want to read it..

Revelation 20: KJV
1 "And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. {2} And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, {3} And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. {4} And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. {5} But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. {6} Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. {7} And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, {8} And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. {9} And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. {10} And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. {11} And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. {12} And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. {13} And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. {14} And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. {15} And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

True. Additionally the Resurrection/Rapture occurs even before that, Yet there are some here who REFUSE TO BELIEVE what God has revealed. That is called "wilful blindness". And those who are wilfully blind are eventually blinded by God.

I do not believe in a pre-tribulation rapture.. I believe the rapture will happen on the same day as the first reasurection.. which will be the day when Jesus returns to earth to rule the world with His Saints..

I do not believe in a pre-tribulation rapture.. I believe the rapture will happen on the same day as the first reasurection.. which will be the day when Jesus returns to earth to rule the world with His Saints..
That my friend is both a spiritual and physical IMPOSSIBILITY.

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

This is speaking of the 1st Resurrection. It sounds like the raptured ones are included in this. The 2nd is the Resurrection of the damned that happens 1000 years later at the time of the Great White Throne Judgement.

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. This is speaking of the 1st Resurrection.
The first resurrection is in three phases: (1) Christ the first fruits, (2) the Resurrection/Rapture as the main harvest, and (3) the Tribulation saints as the gleanings (Rev 20:4)

Rev 20:6 is a general statement which includes both the main harvest and the gleanings. Since all the Tribulation saints are beheaded, but the Church is not, it should be obvious that the first resurrection includes both.

Then after 1,000 years and more, we see the second resurrection Rev 20:12. Therefore "the Last Day" is a metaphor for this future period of time stretching from the Pre-Tribulation Resurrection/Rapture all the way to the Great White Throne Judgment.
