Amen sister , what a lovely post to wake up to...
My church service has just been canceled , we have our first child in UK affected with the virus , so I am now about to go and read Jeremiah...

Poor Jeremiah , preaching a no one listening , this book is really showing me how Gods heart is so tender and so willing to forgive , if only they turn to Him and repent , but they would not listen...

Thank God for giving us ears to hear His calling , I pray the Jews today will hear their calling to...
...xox...
My church was cancelled to. I will spend more time with my dad in ICU, who is recovering from pneumonia, sepsis and mrsa. The power of prayer is amazing, an 80 year old man recovering from that is a pure miracle

Anyone who thinks we reject the cross of Christ and his eternal atonement of blood he offers is no longer considered worth even discussing this, if they refuse to sit and listen to what we believe, they will never even understand it, thus there no basis of any discussion possible
I agree, there are some who would rob of us of the joy of witnessing God's plan unfold.

It's no wonder it's so hard to witness to Jews when some Christians have an arrogant attitude about their inspired scripture.
The very attitude Paul advises against in Romans 11:25. It's blatantly ignoring scripture to claim 1st covenant Israel is of no further concern to God.

Without the OT the NT has nothing to stand on. Revelation is impossible to interpret without the the OT prophets. There are as yet unfulfilled prophecies in all the books from Gen to Malachi. We would miss so much detail surrounding the second advent of Jesus if we approached the OT scriptures as only back story for the NT. It's insulting to God in my view. The word is alive. All of it.

Luke 24
25 He said to them, ‘How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken! 26 Did not the Messiah have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?’ 27 And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.

Mathew 24:15
‘So when you see standing in the holy place “the abomination that causes desolation,” spoken of through the prophet Daniel – let the reader understand –

It's all over the place! Yeshua was constantly pointing us to read the law & the prophets because there are things there we just can't find anywhere else. Things that help us understand the New Testament better.

Learn from Jesus, not the Pharisees.
Reading the OT is learning from Jesus. Jesus told us to read the prophets. Are you counselling me to ignore Jesus?

Paul was a Pharisee. Nicodemus was a Pharisee.

None of these were Pharisees.

Moses,
Samuel
David
Solomon
Isaiah
Jeremiah
Ezekiel
Daniel
Hosea
Joel
Amos
Obadiah
Jonah
Micah
Nahum
Habakkuk
Zephaniah
Haggai
Zechariah
Malachi

But the Pharisees have a veil over their eyes so they cannot understand the OT. How can you understand when holding their views?

Before 1948 many people didn't believe Israel could exist as a nation again. I think that was why replacement theology took shape. They needed something to replace the physical Israel because they couldn't see it happening on Earth for real. Now some people doubt there could be an actual real temple again. I don't doubt it because our God always comes through true to his word with absolute precision.
God who is not a man as us is not served by human hands in any way shape or form .Neither Jew nor Gentile

The Jews is used to represent unbelieving mankind . They gathered themselves together not wanting to serve a invisible king walking by faith. They had become jealous of the surrounding Pagan nations.

God gave them over temporally to do that which they should not of . . .until the time of reformation. Using that period of time as a parable.

Something many by pass as if the reformation never occurred and is not continuing to its work of resisting to provide another temple to satisfy the lust of the eyes and false pride.

The Jew was used to represent unbelieving mankind. It was never about their flesh .The word Israel when defined makes that clear.

Its not that the before reformed order. . before the time of "reformation" was with the approval of God. And the new order. . no outward representation replaced that which was good. It removed the abomination of desolation . An image seen in the holy unseen place of Gods hidden glory .

Building another temple would be to reinstall another abomination of desolation.

You are using the OT to interpret the New. This is exactly backwards to the way the church and Jesus have interpreted the scriptures since the first advent.

Zechariah 14:1-21 (HCSB)
1 A day of the LORD is coming when your plunder will be divided in your presence.
2 I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem for battle. The city will be captured, the houses looted, and the women raped. Half the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be removed from the city.
3 Then the LORD will go out to fight against those nations as He fights on a day of battle.
4 On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which faces Jerusalem on the east. The Mount of Olives will be split in half from east to west, forming a huge valley, so that half the mountain will move to the north and half to the south.
5 You will flee by My mountain valley, for the valley of the mountains will extend to Azal. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come and all the holy ones with Him.
6 On that day there will be no light; the sunlight and moonlight will diminish.
7 It will be a day known ⌊only⌋ to Yahweh, without day or night, but there will be light at evening.
8 On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half of it toward the eastern sea and the other half toward the western sea, in summer and winter alike.
9 On that day Yahweh will become King over all the earth—Yahweh alone, and His name alone.
10 All the land from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem will be changed into a plain. But ⌊Jerusalem⌋ will be raised up and will remain on its site from the Benjamin Gate to the place of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses.
11 People will live there, and never again will there be a curse of complete destruction. So Jerusalem will dwell in security.
12 This will be the plague the LORD strikes all the peoples with, who have warred against Jerusalem: their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.
13 On that day a great panic from the LORD will be among them, so that each will seize the hand of another, and the hand of one will rise against the other.
14 Judah will also fight at Jerusalem, and the wealth of all the surrounding nations will be collected: gold, silver, and clothing in great abundance.
15 The same plague as the previous one will strike the horses, mules, camels, donkeys, and all the animals that are in those camps.
16 Then all the survivors from the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD of Hosts, and to celebrate the Festival of Booths.
17 Should any of the families of the earth not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of Hosts, rain will not fall on them.
18 And if the people of Egypt will not go up and enter, then rain will not fall on them; this will be the plague the LORD inflicts on the nations who do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Booths.
19 This will be the punishment of Egypt and all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Booths.
20 On that day, ⌊the words⌋ HOLY TO THE LORD will be on the bells of the horses. The pots in the house of the LORD will be like the sprinkling basins before the altar.
21 Every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah will be holy to the LORD of Hosts. Everyone who sacrifices will come and take some of the pots to cook in. And on that day there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the LORD of Hosts.

Matthew 5:17-20 (HCSB)
17 “Don’t assume that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.

18 For I assure you: Until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or one stroke of a letter will pass from the law until all things are accomplished.
19 Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commands and teaches people to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever practices and teaches ⌊these commands⌋ will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20 For I tell you, unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

You are following a FALSE PROPHET.

Let me understand this with some help from you all. This is a three year old topic. In Israel a Jewish rabbi, who doesn't believe the messiah has appeared yet, is dead set on constructing the third installment of king Solomon's temple so as to start to bring about the end of the world according to prophecy?

And for awhile now groups in America and likely elsewhere have been working to send Jews back to Israel.
According to those prophecies, aren't they going to then be slaughtered by the army of the anti christ? And doesn't all that happen once this third temple is finished?
If that is all true as I recall it from years of being rusty on my bible studies, does it seem like people are working to bring about the end of the world according to their plans? When not even the lord knew when this was going to happen. Isn't this wrong for people to be involved in such a thing then? Do they think they're going to push God's second coming if they lay some sort of groundwork?

It's worse than I thought. What do you call people like that? They'll work God to meet their plans for his second coming. The Armageddon hurry up, where all the people those twisted types warned to turn Christian or else end up dead. And the Armageddon hurry up sickos gets to gloat for eternity in the all time anthem, told ya so!

And Christians wonder why there are people who think they're nuts.
Easy, when some fall out of the tree and make news like those in that article. Thanks for posting that by the way. Real eye opener.

Nothing you said here concerning the why and what will happen is confirmed, it’s just conjecture
the temple could be built and it could be years before anything happens.

all we know is the temple will be visited by a future prince halfway through a seven year covenant that he made with the nations, he will enter the holy of holys and place an abomination which causes desolation which will cease all sacrifice and burnt offering,

They think christians are nuts because of comments like this and people like Dave here who think they have a. Mission to appose prophecy and people who embrace it.
look at the way he screamed we are trying to start WW3.
for all we know Armageddon is WW5.

in trying to apposed she destroys himself, because he just ,proves he does not know us at all.

THAT IS PURE HOGWASH! We want to see the Palestinians and the JEWS Come to a Peaceful Settlement. That will happen when the Jews REALIZE the TEMPLE BELONGS IN THE CITY OF DAVID.
Amen bro

but like I said, better off just to ignore this dude, he is here to incite anger among us people who love prophecy, not worth getting into a hissy with him. More than enough people have exposed his nonsensical attempts to discredit us with non truths in many threads.

NO.

Why would you assume we here are helping to build the temple?

For myself I am just watching the signs. God will bring his plan to completion.
If he has planned something it can't be stopped by man, spirit or beast.

I don't assist with funding the temple but nor would I get in the way or attempt to stop it. Nor would I want to prevent Jewish people from returning to their ancient homeland.
The first covenant still stands. God does not break covenant. When the man of sin thinks he can use it for his own purpose
God will wipe him out thoroughly. We've been told that. So why grumble about it?

If Christians want to use their salvation as an excuse to ignore what Jesus himself told us and keep grumbling about God's expressly stated plans they can count me out. I know what my bible teaches.

I would offer. It would seem at that point things get turned upside down. Like spoken of with the faithless Jew used to represent faithless mankind that takes away the understanding of God.

Isaiah 29:16 Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?

The time of reformation came. The period of time used as a parable with kings in Israel as a Pagan foundation (abomination of desolation) was destroyed when the veil was rent . Why would we build again on a pagan foundation of men who do not want to get under the King of kings not seen? (law of faith ) One demonstration would seem to be enough to introduce the last days...

We walk by faith the unseen eternal,

Note.... signifying, = using what the eyes see the temporal to receive the unseen understanding)

Note.... figure = parable the method of finding the understanding of faith

Hebrew 9: 8-10 The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.

Hebrew 9: 23-24 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

The key. . . Not entered into the holy places made with corrupted hands. Not served by human hands as if the kingdom did come by observing .
