Only because I see a person with limited KNOWLEDGE, thinking that way, will I repeat myself, and expand on it, so that YOU WILL NOT HAVE AN EXCUSE TO KEEP HARPING ON "GOD is not involved, because of the Animal Sacrifices."
GOD HAS NO PLANS FOR ANIMAL Scarifices to go on in the THIRD TEMPLE.
Isaiah 1:11 (HCSB)
11 “What are all your sacrifices to Me?” asks the LORD.
“I have had enough of burnt offerings and rams and the fat of well-fed cattle; I have no desire for the blood of bulls, lambs, or male goats.
HE SAID THAT IN ISAIAH 1:11, and YET JESUS WENT TO THE TEMPLE NUMEROUS TIMES IN HIS LIFE, Primarily to TEACH. SO THERE IS WAY MORE THAN "animal sacrifices" that is supposed to go on in a TEMPLE OF GOD, than just that.
The Church-age, will END, with the Rapture, and then GOD is FREE to GOD BACK to the THIRD TEMPLE, to resume HIS PROMISE TO ISRAEL. AND it will absolutely HAPPEN LITERALLY, no matter how much you object.
What is the PURPOSE for the TWO WITNESSES IN REVELATION ? ? ? DO YOU EVEN KNOW ? ? ?
Revelation 11:1-14 (HCSB)
1 Then I was given a measuring reed like a rod, with these words: “Go and measure God’s sanctuary and the altar,
and ⌊count⌋ those who worship there.
2 But exclude the courtyard outside the sanctuary. Don’t measure it, because it is given to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for 42 months.
3 I will empower my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, dressed in sackcloth.”
4 These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.
5 If anyone wants to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and consumes their enemies; if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this way.
6 These men have the power to close up the sky so that it does not rain during the days of their prophecy. They also have power over the waters to turn them into blood and to strike the earth with every plague whenever they want.
7 When they finish their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war with them, conquer them, and kill them.
8 Their dead bodies will lie in the public square of the great city, which prophetically is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.
9 And representatives from the peoples, tribes, languages, and nations will view their bodies for three and a half days and not permit their bodies to be put into a tomb.
10 Those who live on the earth will gloat over them and celebrate and send gifts to one another because these two prophets brought judgment to those who live on the earth.
11 But after 31/2 days, the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet. So great fear fell on those who saw them.
12 Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” They went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies watched them.
13 At that moment a violent earthquake took place, a tenth of the city fell, and 7,000 people were killed in the earthquake. The survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14 The second woe has passed. Take note: The third woe is coming quickly!
The Church is GONE, The DEAD IN CHRIST are GONE, The TRIBULATION SAINTS ARE BEHEADED, and WHO IS LEFT ? ? ?
SO WHO ARE THE TWO WITNESSES witnessing TO in the Chapter 11. ? ? ?
JEWS and those who had NEVER chose to RECEIVE Christ as LORD, meaning MASTER.
Revelation 6:9-11 (HCSB)
9
When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the people slaughtered because of God’s word and the testimony they had.
10 They cried out with a loud voice: “Lord, the One who is holy and true, how long until You judge and avenge our blood from those who live on the earth?”
11
So a white robe was given to each of them, and they were told to rest a little while longer until ⌊the number⌋ would be completed ⌊of⌋ their fellow slaves and their brothers, who were going to be killed just as they had been.
Revelation 20:4 (HCSB)
4 Then I saw thrones, and people seated on them who were given authority to judge. ⌊I⌋ also ⌊saw⌋
the people who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of God’s word, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and who had not accepted the mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with the Messiah for 1,000 years.
What Kind of OFFERINGS AND SACRIFICES WERE OFFERED IN GOD'S TEMPLE THAT WERE NOT THE SIN SACRIFICE ?
QUOTE:
. . .
The Hebrew word normally translated "sacrifice" (
zebah) does not occur in Leviticus 1-3 until 3:1 in the introduction to the "peace offering" section (see also vv. 3, 6, 9). The term for "offering" continues to be used there (vv. 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 12, 14). Thus, one can say that the peace offering was a particular kind of "offering" that was also a "sacrifice" — it involved an animal that was killed and then eaten as part of a communal meal.
. . .
The sanctuary included a corresponding burnt offering altar but it was also an actual residence of God. The sanctuary system of offerings and sacrifices included the major features of the previously existing external system (i.e., the burnt, grain, drink, and peace offerings at the solitary altars), but
the solitary altar system did not include sin and guilt offerings.
. . .
After the tabernacle had been established the nation continued to offer burnt, grain, drink, and peace offerings on solitary earthen altars as well as on the altar in the tabernacle. In fact, the Lord himself commanded that they build such an altar at Shechem (i.e., Mount Ebal) and offer burnt and peace offerings there as part of the initial covenant ceremony in the land (
Deut 27:5-7 ). At least part of the purpose of this ceremony appears to have been to lay claim to the land that the Lord had promised Abram long before when he first entered the land and built an altar in the same general location, near Shechem (
Gen 12:6-7 ). In some cases such altars and the burnt and/or peace offerings presented on them were a means of calling on the name of the Lord in specific situations (see, e.g., Gideon in
Judges 6:24-27, ; the Benjamites in
Judges 21:3-4, ; Samuel in
1 Sam 7:8-10, ; David in
2 Sam 24:25, ; and Elijah in
1 Kings 18:23-24 1 Kings 18:30 1 Kings 18:36-39 ). In other instances altars on high places were used for communal sacrificial meals before the Lord.
. . .
END QUOTE.
OH MY, and you only thought it was ONLY for
SIN AND GUILT OFFERINGS - WHICH CHRIST PAID IN FULL ON THE CROSS.
NOTICE: There is more than ONE ALTAR in the TEMPLE; the
solitary altar is reserved for non-sin and non-guilt offerings. Those have to be Offered on the Main ALTAR.
That is the number ONE THINGS the JEWS WILL RECOGNIZE, is that JESUS IS THEIR MESSIAH. Perhaps many will RECOGNIZE HIM after the
CALLING OUT OF THE BRIDE OF CHRIST TO GO TO THE WEDDING OF THE LAMB, happens. The REST, the TWO WITNESSES, will Certainly straight them out.
THE 70TH WEEK OF DANIEL WILL COMMENCE, AFTER THE CALLING OF THE BRIDE OF CHRIST, IS FINISHED.
