you celebrate Passover Mike...and say we have substituted Easter in it's place

BUT...you don't understand Passover or you would celebrate the resurrection

the blood on the posts and the lintel was there as a sign for the angel to PASS OVER...you don't seem to grasp the fact that the door was the entry way...Jesus is now the door or the entry way and it is HIS blood that redeems us from death

No amount of observing the law can do that

and your false accusations that we sin at liberty by saying that, are what is slander in this and every other thread you say it in

what do you think about The Day of Trumpets?
the Day of Atonement?
The Feast of Tabernacles?

Will the Messiah fulfill these Feasts, just like He did for Passover?

Anyone who claims that a true Christian is sinning because they don't observe the Jewish Sabbath as it is outlined in the Law of Moses is preaching a false gospel which is not a gospel at all. This is an anti-Christ belief system.

You may have to ask people a few times to get the truth out of them but eventually they will reveal their true colors.

Remember in the last days Paul said that deceivers would be anti-Christ - NOT anti-God. There is a massive difference between the two.

It is painfully obvious who is preaching the Law of Moses here despite the good will gesture of saying that Jesus is the Messiah.

Paul had to confront these same Judaizers in his day that came and said that the Gentiles had to follow the law of Moses - namely in circumcision only today it is the Sabbath keeping day and other parts of the Law.

I'm very glad to see the saints standing up to the modern day Judaizers attempts at perverting the gospel. We will be like Paul and not give in for one hour so that the truth of the gospel may remain with us.

Galatians 2:3-5 (NASB)
[SUP]3[/SUP]But not even Titus, who was with me, though he was a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised.

[SUP]4 [/SUP] But it was because of the false brethren secretly brought in, who had sneaked in to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, in order to bring us into bondage.

[SUP]5[/SUP] But we did not yield in subjection to them for even an hour, so that the truth of the gospel would remain with you.

Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily My Sabbaths ye shall keep: for it [is] a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that [ye] may know that I [am] YHVH that doth sanctify you.
Exodus 31:13 (KJV, MBM)

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, [Concerning] the feasts of YHVH, which ye shall proclaim [to be] holy convocations, [even] these [are] My feasts. Leviticus 23:2 (KJV, MBM)

Moreover also I gave them My sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I [am] YHVH that sanctify them. Ezekiel 20:12 (KJV, MBM)

There we found you out now! ( again and again ...etc )

Romans 10:3-5 (NASB)
[SUP]3 [/SUP] For not knowing about God's righteousness and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.

[SUP]4 [/SUP] For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

[SUP]5 [/SUP] For Moses writes that the man who practices the righteousness which is based on law shall live by that righteousness.

Law-keepers continually water down the law to make it seem "do-able" but in reality they violate it ever day.

James says that if you fail to keep one law - you are guilty of it all. Why do you have such a low esteem for the Law of Moses and for the work of the Lord Jesus Christ?

Why do you come on Christian websites and try to get Christians to desert Christ for going back to the law? Gal. 1:6.

Shouldn't you be on Jewish websites telling them that their Messiah has come? Instead you come on here to pervert the gospel of Christ. No one is going to fall for this false religion you are espousing here.

The saints here know better then to fall for this anti-Christ religion.

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

1 John 5:2 (KJV, MBM)

Amen! Thank God for the New Covenant! Because John who you are quoting told us before that scripture in 1 John 5:2 exactly what the commandments of God are in the New Covenant.

1 John 3:23 (NASB)
[SUP]23 [/SUP] This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us
.

They are NOT the Law of Moses because you break the law of Moses constantly in your attempts to keep them. - you still have not stoned your children when they were dis-obedient.

Nor have you killed anyone in your family that has tried to get you to not follow God. Nor have you keep your women out of the house and way from the others when they were menstruating.

All these are dozens more you were to do - but you have not. You have broken the law of Moses constantly in your fleshly attempts at keeping the law and in not keeping the law at the same time.

Are you not glad of the New Covenant disciplemike that is in Christ alone?

You have broken the law of Moses dozens of times in your picking and choosing of which "laws you are going to obey in the Law".

Become acquainted with Christ and the New Covenant and then you will stop perverting the true gospel and trying to get Christians to desert Christ for going back to the law for life and living.

But we are keeping the Commandment to keep Holy the Sabbath. Does God really care exactly which day we keep the Sabbath? No.

Because IF our Salvation depended on keeping Saturday as the Sabbath then God would have said Keep Holy Saturday!

Tell us disciplemike, IF we keep Saturday as the Sabbath can we go to a movie, can we take a trip to the mountains, can we sell items at a swap meet????

Tell us, what is your answer to this question?

Whosoever believeth that Yeshua is the Messiah (the Son)
is born of God: (the Father)

and every one that loveth him that begat
(The Father)

loveth him also that is begotten of him.
(The Son)

By this we know that we love the children of God, (The Father)
when we love God, (The Father)
and keep his commandments. (The Father's commandments)

For this is the love of God,
(The Father)that we keep his commandments: (The Father's commandments)and his commandments are not grievous.

thank you for saying I am right about the Passover

perhaps you should consider applying that wisdom to your person

how many times does Jesus need to atone for the world Mike?

how many times?

seems a never ending equation for you...

what do you mean will He ???

see -- this is why i say that so many are quite doubtful that you mean the same thing by "
His finished work" as we do when you use that phrase.

Its interesting disciplemike on post #224 which is Saturday you say good morning to one of those who post here. Good morning means Saturday morning.

Turning on your computer and posting a post is doing Works on the Sabbath day. So even you do not keep Holy the Sabbath Day.

heh Mrs. post and i were researching templar crosses for some costumes she's making for me -- we're going to a friend's wedding at a very large renaissance festival -- and came across the picture i put, which is the cover of a templar knight's sarcophagus in a chapel in Malta. my latin is not really very good, so we looked up what the tomb said.

she said - ooh i like that, i would like that on a tshirt, with a Bible verse.. and i said i bet that is a Bible verse; this is a templar's tomb. sure enough. :)
