Since we're in Hebrews, could the perfect to come fitting for our eternal 'shoes' be this 'perfect comes'?

"but Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things to come , He enteted through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation.'

Not of this creation, no, who's then, what of!

'...and not through His own blood , He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. '

YOU KNOW, ohzone, 'that' sounds a lot like the 'perfect comes' to me. :)

You going to answer those questions?

Or, tribers, I like to have my unsound doctrine challenged, LOL, thank God, He's put me up to.tbis latenight crucifixtion, if you will.

What is 'the new testament,' ohzone, let's get.you thru, OT 101 :)

This debate is another example of another thing i said, you can know all the scripture in the bible by heart but unless you have god dwelling in your heart it is useless. Knowing scripture of course does not make us right with god, some search scripture for truth, others for proof, others still who want to post it for their own beliefs. But what if we were to search it because we seek to know him on a level not many have come to know? this is why i read the bible

Rom 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

SOME Jews are saved. SOME Gentiles saved. Who of them believes.
We are one people serving the One, the true living God. :)

Read Hebrews lately?

Christ's blood testified of the NEW COVENANT, which makes Jews and Gentiled 'grafted' as followers of Jesus.

You do know this Scripture, cpr, don't leave me breathless of this truth, no?

Really, Cpr, really, therupon believes Jews don't need to believe the gospel ? "For God so loved the WORLD.... eternal life.'

Really, you really want to slander his words like that??/?

Great scripture Blaine

[SUP] [/SUP]“And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit[SUP][a][/SUP] of grace and supplication. They will look on[SUP][b][/SUP] me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son. [SUP]11 [/SUP]On that day the weeping in Jerusalem will be great, like the weeping of Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. [SUP]12 [/SUP]The land will mourn, each clan by itself, with their wives by themselves: the clan of the house of David and their wives, the clan of the house of Nathan and their wives, [SUP]13 [/SUP]the clan of the house of Levi and their wives, the clan of Shimei and their wives, [SUP]14 [/SUP]and all the rest of the clans and their wives.
Zech10:12:10-14

Ch13:1-3
On that day a fountain will be opened to the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and impurity. [SUP]2 [/SUP]“On that day, I will banish the names of the idols from the land, and they will be remembered no more,” declares the Lord Almighty. “I will remove both the prophets and the spirit of impurity from the land.[SUP]3 [/SUP]And if anyone still prophesies, his father and mother, to whom he was born, will say to him, ‘You must die, because you have told lies in the Lord’s name.’

How much room do the scriptures leave for soteriological difference between Jew and Gentile?

Rom 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. 29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also: 30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Eph 2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; 16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: 17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. 18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

If there were a soteriological difference between Jew and Gentile, the first century church would be the first place that the difference would be relevant. Does anyone have any scripture references where salvation is given to first-century Jews who rejected Jesus Christ but believed in "Messiah"?

Do we have historical instances where Messianic Jews accepted into their congregations Jews who rejected Jesus Christ but believed in Messiah?

Pastor Mark, I asked some questions awhile back that have gone unanswered.

Zephaniah3:13-20

The remnant of Israel will do no wrong;
they will speak no lies,
nor will deceit be found in their mouths.
They will eat and lie down
and no one will make them afraid.” [SUP]14 [/SUP]Sing, O Daughter of Zion;
shout aloud, O Israel!
Be glad and rejoice with all your heart,
O Daughter of Jerusalem!
[SUP]15 [/SUP]The Lord has taken away your punishment,
he has turned back your enemy.
The Lord, the King of Israel, is with you;
never again will you fear any harm.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]On that day they will say to Jerusalem,
“Do not fear, O Zion;
do not let your hands hang limp.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]The Lord your God is with you,
he is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
he will quiet you with his love,
he will rejoice over you with singing.”

[SUP]18 [/SUP]“The sorrows for the appointed feasts
I will remove from you;
they are a burden and a reproach to you.[SUP][c][/SUP]
[SUP]19 [/SUP]At that time I will deal
with all who oppressed you;
I will rescue the lame
and gather those who have been scattered.
I will give them praise and honor
in every land where they were put to shame.
[SUP]20 [/SUP]At that time I will gather you;
at that time I will bring you home.
I will give you honor and praise
among all the peoples of the earth
when I restore your fortunes[SUP][d][/SUP]
before your very eyes,”
says the Lord

He then pointed our consciences to the heavens which "declare His glory".

He then promises, as we respond to the light given...to give us more light.

In other words, if God will do this for a tribal people who do not even know God the way we do somewhere in Africa or Central America, etc...then does He save those who were first called by His name, whom He came to first and loves with an everlasting love even though they may not know He came "in the flesh and dwelt among us"? John 1:14 ABSOLUTELY HE WILL~!

Welcome to the forum. Again, may God speak through us and to us in our fellowship here together!

In Romans 1 and 2 Paul explains that the revelation that comes from nature and through conscience is sufficient to leave each man without excuse before God. Those who know the law of Moses are condemned by that law; those who do not are condemned by nature and by their own conscience. God will judge the secrets of men through Jesus Christ. Therefore, Chapter 3. Therefore, there is none righteous, not even one; all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Therefore, God provided a way where He maintain His own justice, and can be the justifier of the one who has faith in Christ Jesus. Nowhere in Romans (or anywhere else in scripture) will we find men being saved by revelation from nature and/or conscience apart from knowledge of this Jesus, who was declared with power to be the Son of God by the resurrection from the dead, and the Son of David according to the flesh. How will they believe without a preacher and how will they preach unless they are sent?
Do I misunderstand you? Are you saying that Romans teaches that natural revelation and human conscience provide a witness that makes it unnecessary to believe that Jesus Christ came in the flesh and dwelt among us? Do you believe that people who believe in the Christ, but who deny that Jesus is that Christ, have sufficient light and need no warning from the church?

quote it ALL.
Paul was quoting the OT.

Jesus Finished the Work He came to do - take away the sins of those WHO BELIEVE.

JEW FIRST, THEN GENTILE.

if He didn't Finished His work for the jews, you're not saved either.

i can not believe what i am seeing here.

actually, i can....THIS is the great apostasy.
THIS is the lie, and the falling away, and the Denial of the Lord Who bought them.

another gospel and another christ.

Micah7:15-20

As in the days when you came out of Egypt,
I will show them my wonders.” [SUP]16 [/SUP]Nations will see and be ashamed,
deprived of all their power.
They will lay their hands on their mouths
and their ears will become deaf.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]They will lick dust like a snake,
like creatures that crawl on the ground.
They will come trembling out of their dens;
they will turn in fear to the Lord our God
and will be afraid of you.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]Who is a God like you,
who pardons sin and forgives the transgression
of the remnant of his inheritance?
You do not stay angry forever
but delight to show mercy.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]You will again have compassion on us;
you will tread our sins underfoot
and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.
[SUP]20 [/SUP]You will be true to Jacob,
and show mercy to Abraham,
as you pledged on oath to our fathers
in days long ago.

This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Many peoples and the inhabitants of many cities will yet come, [SUP]21 [/SUP]and the inhabitants of one city will go to another and say, ‘Let us go at once to entreat the Lord and seek the Lord Almighty. I myself am going.’ [SUP]22 [/SUP]And many peoples and powerful nations will come to Jerusalem to seek the Lord Almighty and to entreat him.” [SUP]23 [/SUP]This is what the Lord Almighty says: “In those days ten men from all languages and nations will take firm hold of one Jew by the hem of his robe and say, ‘Let us go with you, because we have heard that God is with you.’”

good posts.
are you able to see how quickly people are descending into delusion here?
expect more, and worse.
this is exactly how it's going to go.
people will end up in a false christianity resembling JUDAISM.

one set of laws for JEWS and another for GENTILES.
thats the plan and it's happening NOW
good night.

I can confidently say Zone that youi have your beliefs and reasoning are solely based on the academic mind of man. They are not led of the Holy Spirit for you do in effect condemn a person for standing on the plain words of Christ when he walked this earth
You cannot see what is so plainly written about Israel
You ridicule the gifts of the Spirit for today

It is pure head theology of the natural intellect

You quote so often the opinions of the scholars and theologians you so avidly follow, rather than having opinions of your own to quote

But ultimatelytTrinitarian belief itself condemns you

For if the Spirit of God could lead someone to contradict thew requirement of belief as to who Christ is unto salvation that Christ himself laid down by adding to it
Then the Spirit of God must contradict the word of God, in Trinitarian terms God contradicts God and the belief collapses

So continue your denunciations and condemnation of people

It is just man made reasoning of the little grey cells, and no one should be the slightest bit concerned when you hurl your thunderbolts at them

It is simply an academic exercise, not Holy Spirit led

LOL Loveme1 and Therapon, i am flattered but in truth this is not my own knowledge. I cannot claim to be wise or knowledgable because i only know and believe what i do because i had the advantage to spend all day everyday with god. No job, no school. I gave up video games and movies daily to just enjoy spending time with him. So many other did not have that advantage and god himself taught me these things. These are his words and teachings, his knowledge and wisdom not my own
I love it. I have been in full time service in the Lord for over 30 years, and part time for the preceeding 40. Never had a better boss. <smile>
