I thought I would start another thread regarding Simiel and the attitudes, scriptures and Other misc. contributions. [HR][/HR]
[HR][/HR] This thread was on my mind and couldn't get it out, so I'll talk about whats on my mind. Firstly is the title: Simiel, this threads for you I think this is pretty self explanatory, this was for Simiel. I don't know why the temptation was soo strong to have to Dishonor the obvious intent. Do any of you. I am reminded of where ,I think paul speaks in 1 Ti 5 :12& 13 That, having damnation because they have cast off their first faith. And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle ,but tattlers and busybodies, speaking thing they ought not. This just reminds me of what appears to have happened in this thread to Simiel. There was no other input ask for, especially negative and dirty ,mixed with a little untruth. So why the interjection of some less than courteous comments? I have no animosity or blame for any body in this .I just think there are issues that need addressed that have surfaced many times before , but usually get clouded over by the loudest and shameless. Bro Maxwell: I had communication with you on the other thread and don't feel clear about it, so please bare with me.Your thread starts with 1-5 statements, then 5 a-f......Number 1 "Jesus was only tolerant to sinners who were repentant" Jesus said that he came not to save the righteous but sinners to repentance.... His parable to leave the ninety nine and look for that one lost sheep....His manifest confrontations and even Godly anger were with the religious, who bore his name in vain, that strain at a knat, who made tradition for their profit, who prayed to be seen of men, and crucified our lord. His words and attitudes to sinners was patient kind, healing them comforting them, and not just repentant ones, but he did call a spade a spade, following him for the food and to see the miracles. Many he helped with no biblical answer whether they repented or not, such as healing the sick. I think this is enough to say that num1 is untrue ,or a lie. Num. 2...Jesus was tolerant to many, we only know the few mentioned who followed him at first but in the end all forsook him ,according to the prophets and the N.T. Even the Father separated himself for Jesus to bare our sins alone, Such Great love manifested in the word made flesh. Blessed are we when we suffer for our obedience to the Father. Num 3.....I have not seen all of his posts, but taking you at your word I don't know of anybody that hasn't been of the mark at times or even most of the time in Gods drawing us to himself, it has to start some where. And on here is a obvious example of this. We all know how much untruth is put to pen every day, with less than enough growth in my opinion. When my child was one year old it was OK to do do his diapers, but at twenty one ,it was not expectable any more, we all grow if God is teaching us . "to him that knows to do good and doesn't do it, to him it is sin" I thank God he tolerated me so so many times. And I think all of us would think the same.......Num4 I always thought that to be ridiculed and persecuted for the truth was an honor to be like Jesus, not a threat. Blessed are you when we are reviled for the Gospels sake, and if the world hated Jesus word it will also hate our ,if we also are speaking the truth. What a privilege to be counted worthy to bare the marks of the lord, woe to us if we don't......Num5 a-f well,Ill keep this as short as I can and say regarding (f) he didn't ridicule Eyesonly....... I actually think Jesus would have cast the demon out of him, we can't know, but the state of the church as is, such a thing might not even be considered. Well, Pray for me, I am in a very bad physical state, and getting ready to maybe meet the lord ,Praise God ,but only he Knows. Grace and the peace of God keep our hearts and minds in our hour. David
